I stayed here for the first time, and the front desk staff were very warm and welcoming. Check-in was very fast, and the lobby had a little area to buy drinks and some snacks, which is always helpful. The room I had was a suite with a king bed and separate sofa, and the room was clean, with everything working properly. The room was quiet, and I slept well on the bed. The morning breakfast was convenient and tasty- I had scrambled eggs, bacon and yogurt. Check-out was simple, as a receipt was slid under my door during the night. The hotel is very close to OSF St. Anthony, so that was great for me, as I had a meeting there in the morning. Overall, the place is very clean and inviting, and I would definitely stay there again⬆️.

The room and facility was very clean and your staff should be complimented for it. I spoke with some of the housekeeping staff and they were friendly and enjoyed their job. What a refreshing change. They are valuable employees. Only complaint was hallway noise. Perhaps a door seal issue? We will come back to this hotel.

the reason we wanted to stay at this property was for the hot tub and pool with the slide. the pool was nice but sadly we were not able to enjoy it very well as to the Hot Tub was chemically unbalanced and it made my whole family not feel well. My husband whos only wish was to enjoy the hot tub could not even enter the pool area after our first attempt. Several guest also warned us to NOT turn on the hot tub as they could not stop coughing, they even opened the emergency door to try to maske the air better. When I asked the night clerk she said she does not know anything and they only check it a few times a week. I told her it was unhealthy for guests her reply she just works there and does not know anything about the pool. its been a day and a half and my husband and I are still coughing. He is also upset that the Hot tub was the main reason for the trip for him to relax as he works 60+ hours a week and he could not. We would stay there again but as we could not enjoy what we went there for, it will makes us think twice and go somewhere else.

Updated, clean hotel. I enjoyed the plush bedding and lighted mirror. Breakfast options looked good. The pool was unique, with a cool shape and a water slide. I did feel the chemicals in the pool area were strong as I sneezed and coughed from them quite a bit. Staff was friendly and I appreciated that when checking in as a solo female traveler that they didn't announce my room number to the whole lobby. Would stay again!

We stayed on a Sunday night and arrived late, which made dining options few. If staying in Escanaba, which is a smaller town, be aware when arriving late on a Sunday. Everyone was great (except for paperwork on $250 fine if you have unregistered guests swimming) and they were busy at desk sometimes but pool was pretty cool especially for the littles and tweens. The actual stay was alright. While enjoying the pool area there was a birthday party that showed up. Probably about 20 kids in all. No more pool enjoyment! Was also double charged. They refused to correct this since it was booked through someone else. Maybe if you can't trust who you let reserve for you. That's a problem! Not interested in having to take time away from my daily activities in order to correct something that should have already been correctly handled.

Two things I missed here. The Gideon Bible was nowhere to be found. The bathtub had no drain plug. Person at front desk had no solution for this, suggesting I put a cup over the drain. Huh? The room was otherwise comfortable and breakfast was fine.

Went to check in and Desk worker politely said just a minute then disappeared for 10 minutes. Came back and was polite and everything but we had traveled for hours and just wanted to get our room. We were the only people checking in at 7:30. Room was great and breakfast the next morning was great.

We stayed here after a concert at the nearby casino. The front desk person that checked us in was great! Very knowledgeable and friendly.
We did stop at the front desk to pick up a couple sodas later in the evening and the person helping was definitely not as good as the person working earlier. Not attentive to the people in front of us. Took a while to know how to charge the soda to my room.

If you use a fitness center, don't stay here. There are no free weights and the treadmill and elliptical machines are dangerous.

Asked front desk for a 3rd floor room, she said non available. Came down to buy some ice cream 5 minutes later and overheard her tell the next couple that rooms are available on all floors! Not NICE! My ice cream was crystalized, and horrible! And cost $6. Our room was stuffy and we could not get the air conditioning to turn on. After checking out we get a call because they didn’t have a credit card on file for my ice cream! I told her I did leave a card on file! She found it and said sorry. Never again, will we stay with this hotel chain.
