We were booked for the weekend- Thu, Fri and Sat nights… the room was in front of the lift so all the bus groups kept coming in and out very loudly very early each morning. Rooms are modern and clean however some bit were off like the light in the toilet was hanging over the basin. There was a green square on the wall behind the Tv which doesn’t make sense and there a powerful smell of freshener everywhere. Asked housekeeping to not to use during or stay and the didn’t. Reception staff was kind and friendly so it was most of the bar staff, one person got annoyed when we ask reception to find them to order some more drinks.

Ample free parking and nice gym. Hotel is otherwise unremarkable. Furnishings are a bit tired. Lamps flicker from worn switches, bathroom is clean but looks a bit dirty as it needs fresh caulk and some new paint. Other hotels in Guadalajara represent better values (Lower rates and better accommodations at AC Guadalajara and Pax), but they book more quickly than this hotel.

We'd definitely go back. We've stayed several times. It's very convenient and one block from a small mall. Unfortunately the hotel hasn't kept up the yard around the hotel on the back side, so views are less than encouraging. Looks a bit abandoned. If they would invest a little bit more in the exterior, like they've done on the interior, it would go up several notches.

The hotel is a short walk from a large shopping centre with several places to eat, fast food and table service. A short walk takes you into Guadalajara which is relaxed, tree lined with several parks. The hotel is an excellent 4* hotel with comfortable rooms and a good breakfast

Generally a good stay, we arrived at 6pm, no food available in either restaurant or bar till 8.30. We ended up with room service which again didn't start till 8pm but was good when it arrived. Bed was massive and comfy. Very quiet area and no noise at all in the room.

Good for large groups,friendly service great price

Overall it was great price excellent we were part of large group attending wedding at the Monastery -Lupuana so it was very convenient, service overall great and the tavern next door Asador del Pedra superb for lunch & dinner the only minor hiccup was that the food in the hotel was very limited because the restaurant was closed for summer.

Nice hotel, comfortable bed and room. ( bath selection on mixer would not work and difficulty getting a contant balance of hot/cold water on shower. It would have been nice to have a bath after a long journey )
Restaurant menu poor, but leg of lamb was good. Excellant breakfast.

Modern clean and friendly hotel, would recommend staying for a few nights if wanting to explore the area. We only stayed one night on route through Spain.

We wanted to get out of Madrid with rental car on our way to Barcelona. This was a great stopping point clear of the city but an easy drive in the evening when tired.

There was a significant amount of noise until midnight from some guests who thought the bed, in the room above us, was a trampoline and the corridors were for races. Voices were unnecessarily loud. This was a total contrast to our stay the week before. However, as we were exhausted, we did not complain to reception. With hindsight, we should have done, because when we mentioned it at reception the next morning, they were very apologetic.

That aside, the dinner was again delicious. I would like to have stayed longer.

I did ask about rooms with just a shower and not a bath, because I have a dodgy back and was very surprised to be told that they don't have any accessible rooms. I would have thought that that was a legal requirement. Fortunately the bath height is not too bad, but the shower screen is fixed and it was not a comfortable experience climbing in and out.

Heaven in a hotel

We broke our journey here and felt like it was a real treat. Just walking in was an experience. The price was very modest but the public facilities were stunning. The rooms were large enough to move around without bumping into the furniture. There was no tea and coffee making equipment in the rooms, but we had tea at the bar in the foyer, along with a toasted sandwich, which kept us going until dinner. Dinner was a very reasonable price for three superb courses and a drink.

Superb value for a quality hotel.

The hotel is extremely well appointed inside the main reception area with tasteful quality furniture and fitments. We found the staff very friendly and helpful in every respect - faultless. The one meal from the restaurant was superb, served in pleasant surrounds with very attentive staff. The only minor criticism centers on the room - it was slightly tired and the air conditioning did not function - in fact on the 'cold' setting it actually blew hot air. That small gripe aside, our stay was very pleasant and exceptional value, we would not hesitate to return for a further visit.

Best hotel we have stayed in this trip. The breakfast was phenomenal the choices were great. Unfortunately the evening meal was a real disappointment although the staff were lovely. Not much choice and the meal of Lamb Shank was served without any vegetables or rice/potatoes and the menu did not give a choice of sides.

We were there for 12 days with a teenager playing soccer in Guadalajara. The hotel staff spoke perfect English, the room was clean and comfortable and the air conditioning was frigid and fabulous. We often kept the bartender up way past closing time and he (Alberto) was full of wonderful conversation and information. A pleasure all around. The lobby was beautiful and beds very comfortable. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone passing through Guadalajara.

Easy to Find

We used this hotel for a one-night stop driving on to the Costa Del Sol. It was very easy to find after a long day's driving, extremely comfortable and the staff were friendly. The room was beautifully clean with a good, hot shower. Very good quality overall and we wouldn't hesitate to use it again.

Perfect location if you need to visit the hospital

This is a great hotel if you need to visit the hospital - it's only a short walk. The hotel is a bit old and could use some updating, but the beds are comfortable, the staff are helpful and the food is great. My only minor complaint is that the shower could have been cleaner - there was mold in the tile grout. I recommend this hotel and will stay here again.

My stay was for business as I had meetings at Hospital Guadalajara - the location is great since it's very close to the hospital. The breakfast was fantastic (included in my booking). All of the food was fantastic - I recommend the Executive Lunch as it's great food at a great price. I will stay here again.

Great low-key hotel in a great low-key city!

A clean, quiet , well priced hotel in a safe neighborhood. About a 15 minute cab ride from the high speed train station, a couple of blocks from a mall with a HUGE grocery store, and about a 10 minute walk from town. Great little cafes, bars, and restaurants in town. Free WiFi too. What more could you ask for?

Carillon Inn in Panama City Beach

I was required to pay an additional $69 for cleaning and 'taxes\" . i was under the belief that Hotels.com already.
collected 'taxes'.
The room they gave us looked like it hadn't been used in years. The balcony was entirely encased in spider webs and insect nests. They did change it to a more :\"recently\" used room.
Though I was paying for 'cleaning' they told me I was expected to wash the dishes before leaving. There was no paper towels or tissues. These are not supplied items. Just toilet paper, 2 sets of towels and 1 hotel sized tiny hand soap bar and bath bar for two people. Three nights but no change of linens or towels.
Once in the second room, we needed maintenance to get the two TV's working and to clean out the bathtub drain which was backing up. The tub was dirty so we used the packet of dishwasher cleaner to clean the tub.
Except for the worn and dirty carpets, everything was fine

El hotel esta bien pero el trato del personal es mas que mejorable. Tuve que hacer una reserva de ultima hora por una fuerte tormenta que se produjo ese día y a mi llegada al hotel más que sentirme en un lugar tranquilo, sentí que estaba mendigando un hospedaje (menuda mendicidad, por cierto) además, durante la noche, la tormenta fue terrible, llegando a entrar agua por las ventanas aun estando cerradas. Por la mañana, al irme, informé de la situación en la recepción y nadie me pregunto si yo o mis pertenencias estaban bien, dada la situación. Es mas, cuando dije que tuve que poner una toalla para contener el agua, ni siquiera una palabra de aliento o mera empatía . Creo que deberían formar mucho mejor a su staff, en atención al cliente, dada la categoría de hotel, que dicen, ostentar. Lo pensare dos veces antes de volver a reservar. Saludos RM.
