Breakfast, staff, pool, room was all lovely. On my 5 sunbeds at the pool though so we had to wait on two for a while - as people were just using them to keep their towels on while in the pool. We actually wanted to lay on them.

My room smelt heavily of cleaner, when I complained, the assistant manager turned up with another spray which I refused. Then plugged in an air purifier after telling me no otger rooms were free. Was too tired, and disappointed. Next day the room was changed with no compensatory gesture but my experience was entirely different. They should have acted sooner.otherwise would have given 5 star for value.

Disappointed with our stay. Advertised as a four star hotel, but rooms, service, and WiFi were not even close to being great. The only great thing about this place was the pool and the gym which were really nice. I do have to call out Sudarshan, the IT, manager who helped us with our WiFi problems. His service was the only service that represented a 4 star hotel.

Need some love and care

Lemon Tree is a great name, however when I entered the property, I was welcomed by dust all over and darkness. Hardly any staff to help.

Overall state of the Hotel, was terrible and totally disappointed me.

I raised my concern with the manager and he did his best to address the concerns. And property was cleaned and dust removed and we were given a good service

I still feel that the hotel need lots of love and care as well as some investment to make it a better hotel. It has lot of potential and proper management can make the hotel shine.

On Expedia, the property looked lovely, which it was. The pool looked rather enticing, which was the main reason for booking there; however when we came to check in, we were told that the pool was out of use until 10April so we had he had to cancel our booking unfortunately. Very nice and comfortable hotel, with particularly helpful staff. Krushna went out of his way to move us to a better, upstairs, room when the room we were first given turned out to have some smoke odors and also too little privacy from the garden outside. Btw, the executive rooms upstairs have the same pool and garden views as the rooms downstairs, with the added attraction of a balcony.
Huge, clean, largely unused, pool.
The food is not very special, but is clean, varied and plentiful. Again, very nice restaurant staff.
The hotel arranged very good cars and drivers for us to visit Ajantha and Ellora.

Lemon tree in Delhi was nice experience, so I booked. First and last time.
Property is old, AC didn’t work properly.
In their spa some cheap cosmetics were used so I got reaction on my skin.
Breakfasts was bad, thanks god for papaya season, I got something to eat.

We really enjoyed staying in this hotel. The rooms and facilities were really nice as well as clean. All of the staff were really friendly, lovely and helpful. They were quick to respond to any issue we had. One of which was the fact that the bedrooms didn't have a mirror near to a plug socket. Maybe not used to western women staying. However they quickly found us a mirror for each bedroom. When we seemed to have a problem with the air con late at night, again someone was quick to come and help us. The cleaners used to leave us sculptures made from towels. The porter on realising that one of our rooms had a double bed and the other one had a connecting door, was ahead of us in asking reception to switch the room so that we were in adjoining rooms with twin beds. The restaurant food was very tasty. However the idea of using a QR code to scan a lengthy menu is painful. The list is so long and there is no quick way to jump up or down the list without a lot of scrolling. That really needs re-thinking. Either create a paper menu or improve the website.

Perfect base for touring Aurangabad's history

We wanted a hotel to which we could happily retreat each evening after spending the days exploring the area's amazing history and sights. We couldn't have chosen better than Lemon Tree Resort. Although it's beside the main road and only 10 minutes' drive from the airport, they've created a quiet oasis centred around a beautiful pool. The rooms are large, modern and immaculate with, importantly, a quality bed. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and fluffy towels. The communal areas have homely touches to make the space feel relaxing. The buffet breakfast was standard Indian fare in a nice room overlooking the pool. The only (very small) criticism I'd lay is that all meals are taken indoors, while the adjacent beautiful pool area, ideal for al fresco dining, lays under-used.

The property is not a 4 star, it’s a 3 star. There was mildew in the tiles. Toilet, and sink. The phone located in the bathroom was disgusting directly. The staff in cafe was friendly and helpful! We received an upgrade but if after receiving an upgrade this is how the room was, then I wonder how a normal room would be, the hotel is centrally located though!

The hotel looks a bit shabby and old; however, once i side the space is iodated and our suite was clean and comfortable. Bed was very nice. Food, good, both the breakfast buffet and items ordered from room service. I have two main issues. The staff was very unfriendly. They tried to put me in a small room with twin beds when i reserved and paid for an executive king suite. Not even an “oops, sorry” just moved me to the king suite. The main thing to be careful of is that they add an 18% service charge to nearly everything. If you lay for dinner buffet and serve yourself, including pouring your own wine, there is still an 18% service charge. In other words, even with no table service, the charge is still there. Thur know its wrong, also, because if you read the fine print they tell you the charge isn't mandatory. I like to tip, and well. I do not like to be tricked into tipping for every little thing. Even at checkout, paying my final incidentals bill, there was a service charge. When i asked why, i was told it was a charge for my “package”, whatever that is. Just be careful and dont hesitate to tell them you want the charge removed so you can decide your own tip.

First the things we liked:

1) Me and my son enjoyed the Swimming pool almost every day of our stay.
2) Front garden was good and served as a good play area for my son.
3) Location was right on the main road and could drive down to the attractions with ease.

Things we disliked:

1) My car was full of exterior dust. I asked the front desk if someone can wash the car for a charge; she said she will get back and even after the trip is over; there is no response. I ended up washing the exterior every day.

2) Dinner was really horrible in the restaurant. Veg options were too limited and not that attractive. My son refused to eat the food that was served and we ended up eating outside.

3) The pictures in Hotels.com were different from the room that we were given. In the pictures, the room had a balcony while we didn't have any in our room.

4) Toiletries needs to be asked every day. We were 3 adults and one child in the room and we had to ask for extra soap bars and towels almost every day. The faucet was also leaking. If this hotel calls itself as 4-star then it should not act cheap with regard to toiletries like soap bars.

5) Parking is a mess when some event is happening in the hotel. Guests are asked to park their vehicle in a side while rental cabs are parked near the entrance. This requires better sense from the administrators.

6) Wifi is for one device only. That was a big dampener for my mom who is on Whatsapp.

I had nice two nights stay. A comfortable room with balcony to see the fireworks held by the hotel for the new year. It was even better If front desk people were more trained. The taxi called by the hotel took me to wrong place so I recommend to double or triple check with everything.

The entire hotel stay was more than we expected. We were very pleased with the accommodation and the staff was just extraordinarily nice and go out of their way to make our stay pleasant. The IT personnel was very helpful and patient with my user problem.
The room was Up to date, comfortable and functional. The Citrus restaurant staff was just outstanding specially Ram who provided us with our lunch box for our day trip. Will highly recommend to our friends going to Ajanta Ellora Caves.

Bad: This wasn't the cheapest hotel in town, so I was expected that there were so many \"hidden\" charges. We paid extra for every little thing, and the prices were EXTREMELY high compared to external. That is expected to some degree, but 10x amount was what we saw. And we were mischarged us for items upon exit. I had to argue over 20 rupees to get it straight. Not much money, but frustrating after paying so much for so little. I wish we had paid the extra and stayed at the Taj instead.

All kinds of bugs in the room

After checking-in we arrived at our room and when the bellman was leaving a roach made its appearance. We called front desk and we were \"upgraded\" to an \"executive room\", which was exactly the same as the \"normal room\". The hallways smell like Raid that can be the explanation of a pest control problem (roaches for example), therefore is very uncomfortable to sleep in this place. Rooms and bathrooms are extremely tiny.

The front desk staff is TERRIBLE! Zero customer service. They presumably have one pen per staff, therefore if you are signing your check-in (or any other paper) and another customer comes to the front desk to sign something else they take the pen from you and give it to the second customer, it doesn’t matter if you are in the middle of your signature, if the other person needs the pen they will take it from you, SUPER RUDE! Also if you are talking to them about anything like making a taxi reservation and a second customer shows up they leave you talking and start talking to the other person.

Just the staff at the restaurants and the taxi drivers are good. If a clean room and good customer service are your priorities this is not the place (and my guess is that you want those two things during your vacation).

Biker's Dream

A bunch of us HOGs stayed here when we rode out for the Western HOG Ride in Aurangabad. The event itself was happening at another hotel, which is a five minute walk from the Lemon Tree. While not overtly luxurious, the hotel is well kept. Check-in was a breeze (I had already booked through Hotels.com and all I needed to give them was an ID - everything else was taken care of) and the rooms were clean and comfortable. What I really loved was the service and hospitality that the staff showed. Room service was quick and efficient and they accommodated a noisy group of bikers with a smile.

The best part though was check-out. We had decided to ride out the next morning at 5 am and so requested the hotel to settle our bills the previous night. They gladly complied, with the result that \"check-out\" was a matter of dropping the key at the front desk, getting onto our bikes and riding out.

The hotel looks nice from the outside but the rooms are old. The accommodation feels run down and is definitely not worth the price. Their pool looks great although we didn't get a chance to jump in. The breakfast spread had variety but wasn't very good. Service can be a little slow too. Overall, I think it was a forgettable experience.

Poor hotel with lazy staff and too many rules

I booked two rooms - Executive and Deluxe (one cost considerably more) and they were the same. The rooms were only just clean. The restaurant not clean (tables, plates etc) and the food was less than average. The service was terrible - it was always a no - no beer, no food or drink at outside tables, etc.

Disappointing experience in a month long trip where other hotels at similar price have been amazing

Lots of rules and no interest in what customer wanted - we couldn't have lunch at tables outside as they were only for evening, no drinks or food around the beautiful pool, no beer due to supply problem so we crossed the road to buy our own. restaurant was not very clean, a request for replenishing juice or yoghurt in buffet got almost no reaction, evening outside restaurant the food was terrible and plates dirty. The bar was a small area with pool table and other games so you couldn't have a drink there - again you could only get service in the times where bartender stopped taking phone calls. And if this sounds as though I am just an unhappy person I should add that I travel a lot and have never felt strongly enough before now to post a poor review

Comfortable hotel with a sense of humor

We had a nice stay at this hotel. It was clean, comfortable, and the pool was a relaxing place to hang out at night. It is only a few minutes from the airport. We ate at the buffet both nights for dinner, as well as for breakfast. The breakfast was very nice, and the dinner was good. A variety of veg and non-veg options for both. I had never stayed in this chain of hotels before. For people from the US I would equate it to something like a nice Holiday Inn Express. Comfortable and clean, but not luxurious. The hotel has quite a sense of humor though... with funny stories and essays posted on the walls of the hallway and on the restaurant placemats. We enjoyed reading through them.

Great setting but very grubby

Lovely setting this hotel suffers from a lack of scheduled maintenance. Rooms are ok but when you peel back the veneer they are very grubby. Many coffee stains on the furniture which is chipped and marked. Surfaces such as windows, fridge door, AC control and most surfaces need a good wipe down. Room door covered in grime and chips. Door to balcony did not open properly and big pool of water on floor each morning from faulty AC. I suspect room clean comprises a quick whip around with a broom. Floor was grubby. The same grubbiness is evident throughout the hotel. Two doors behind reception are white but covered in black grime. Staff uniforms are grubby. It's such a shame that this place isn't maintained properly. Management quick to apologise but slow to rectify. Overall expensive in comparison with other hotels.

Superlative hotel at Aurangabad..

Stay was extremely comfortable. Staff was very co-operative and 5-star for their hospitality. The breakfast and dinner served on each day was sumptuous and each day had a different menu - simply awesome food. Swimming pool was clean. There is a lemony smell (goes with the name of the hotel) at the hotel in the mornings, which is not too great (but not offensive either). The business center was unusually warm and could have had a better air-condition. Would definitely stay at this hotel on a future trip and this is definitely a very good value for money.

Hotel is pricey for what they offer.the bed was not comfortable at all.reception staff was not much helpful. Staff at the restaurant was great. Breakfast was excellent.minibar wasn't working.most important pretty much all hotels offer area where drivers can rest.this hotel did not offer any place for driver.he had to stay outside in heat.I will not book this hotel again.

The hotel is a surprising find. The immediate neighborhood is very urban, but the hotel itself is a quiet oasis, with its pool the center point. Get a poolside room and you'll forget the hustle of the rest of your day

Very adequate in a city of few options

This is a good choice if you're visiting the caves in the area. There are very few good options in the city, but this one is definitely acceptable for western standards and the like. The hotel restaurant is not everything it's made out to be, but worthwhile if you're looking for dishes that contain meat (which is hard to come by in India).

Good basic hotel with nice pool close to airport

They allow smoking in the rooms, so be sure to specify if you want a non-smoking room. Checking in at 8 pm, our room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. They apologized but said the only non-smoking room they had available had 2 double beds and was not a suite. They did send someone who came to \"freshen the room\" who did clean and use a strong lemony deodorizer that made the cigarette smell undetectable. The food in the dining room (not the restaurant) was good and the staff very, very nice, but the first evening we waited over an hour for our food, and when the breakfast buffet was busy, they ran out of serving utensils. All the staff was very accommodating and pleasant. They were especially accommodating to arrange massages for me and my husband at the same time and exactly at the time we wanted. The room was comfortable, but it was impossible to take a shower without lots of water on the bathroom floor. A strong plus was that it took less than 10 minutes to get to/from the airport, although there is a charge for the transport arranged by the hotel.

Beautiful, convenient

This is a beautiful, peaceful oasis in a dusty, crowded city. It was a great base for our siteseeing forays. Very convenient to the airport. Staff was eager to please. Well-satisfied with the experience.
