Unfortunately, the check-in experience was quite disappointing and not what one expects from an ITC brand.

There was no proper greeting on arrival. I was standing in the queue for a while and eventually had to ask the staff to assist me, as they seemed more focused on their own tasks rather than attending to waiting guests. Queue management was poor, with people moving ahead without any clear order or guidance from the front desk.

Despite providing my ID, I was repeatedly asked questions about whose name the reservation was under, which made the process unnecessarily slow and unprofessional.

After checking in, I ordered in-room dining, but the bill did not reflect the promised 20% discount, which added to the overall frustration.

In terms of the property itself, while there is a newer building, we were allocated a room in the older building. The elevators there are extremely small—barely accommodating three people with luggage. This was quite surprising and disappointing for an upper-class ITC hotel.

Overall, the experience fell well short of ITC’s usual standards in terms of service, efficiency, and attention to guests. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves front-desk operations, billing accuracy, and room allocation for future guests.

Good, comfortable property with (surprisingly better than many much larger brands and 5 star properties across India) friendly, attentive, efficient staff right from checkin/checkout to housekeeping, security and restaurant service. Definitely not a 5 star hotel by any standard. Hotel room corridor stank of cigarette smoke (even though we requested non-smoking room). The room was outdated and dingy. The swimming pool was tiny and nothing like the photo. The breakfast was a sad, middling buffet with cheap teas and machine coffees.

I came here with young kids and had a great day. The staff was very helpful and the food was amazing and the customized it to be non-spicy for my kids. The breakfast is really good and they packed us brunch for my kids when we were traveling upon request. The hotel is at a prominent location and a little on the outskirts of the city and hence we can avoid all the traffic While traveling as a tourist here. There is a lot of hustle and bustle in this hotel, and there were marriages held when we were staying in the hotel so it wasn’t very quiet as other hotels we have lived in. Politician also visited the hotel during our stay and there was a lot of security in the hotel that day. The pool had many bugs and the water was cold and there was no hot pool here. The gym is also not very clean and they didn’t allow my kids to touch any equipment even though I was around.

We booked a 18 night stay at WelcomRama Aurangabad and the place was awesome. The staff were very courteous, the room service and cleanliness was top notch and this made our stay very comfortable.

I recommend this property and you will get value for money. Their breakfast and dinner is real 5 star.

Lovely hotel - though pool out of action!

Lovely stay in this hotel for the 4 of us, nice well-appointed room. Unfortunately, the hotel pool was out of action - if we had known this prior to arriving we would have not stayed there (it was high 30's when we stayed & would have liked to use the pool after sightseeing), we could have had this information emailed to us.
Nice breakfast & bar/restaurant - plenty of food choices too.

The hotel was very busy during my stay with a large wedding, but the staff worked hard to keep up with everything. The room was clean, but I did not like a key card needed to be left in a slot inside the room to keep power on. When you leave the room that stops devices from charging. The food at the dinner buffet was decent, but the seated restaurant onsite was fantastic and there is also a bar that has a relaxing environment and attentive service.

Smelled damp and mildewy (though many hotels in India are), had no free breakfast tho it stated we could, front desk did not resolve a single issue we had. We only stayed there due to lack of choice. Not worth the $$.

The AC temperature cannot be reduced if required and stays at 27.5 degrees all day. gets quite hot in the day. the staff at the hotel cited covid regulations for this however i had stayed here early this year much before the covid struck India and the same AC problem was there. the technicians give excuses or misguide you in believing that it will get cooler after some time but it never does and stays at 27.5 no matter what setpoint you set it at. though later i was provided with a portable fan it didn't help much.
The problem needs to be addressed and covid cannot be cited as a reason. the stay was uncomfortable as a result. There are many more hotel options available for a similar price in Aurangabad, i believe i will not stay here again because of the air conditioning problem

It’s a good hotel overall with most things looking up to date. The breakfast is fabulous and not to be missed, as are the different amenities including pool, tennis court etc. However, we changed rooms a couple of times as the beds had worn out and we kept sinking into the mattress. Basic things like shower caps, slippers had to be ordered separately for each room, which was a bit of pain. But most infuriatingly was the constant security checks each time we left the hotel and came back. As this was a business trip, there was a lot of toing/froing between buildings in the city so to constantly be checked where we were staying was fundamentally ridiculous.

I don't understand how this property got 5 start with a 3 start quality service. Only thing I like the staff who always wanted to help.
Quality of bathroom fixtures are very old and does not work.
When you take a shower it floods the bathroom
Water pressure is very low in the shower.
I was told that I can't lower the temperature below 21.5 degree because it is set by the central AC system. They offered us a floor fan instead.

Very little to fault. Clean and very comfortable rooms, fruit bowl, biscuits and brownies a nice touch. Excellent staff in all areas, good restaurant at very reasonable prices, dinner buffet particularly good value, cosy bar. Lovely pool area with a good sized pool, pretty grounds to walk around. Only slight niggle was the shower pressure could be a bit variable, but not much of an issue really. Hotel car can be hired for the day, again at a really good price. A good base to explore the area and also a great place just to chill.

The hotel location is very good , less than 10 minutes drive from the airport. Overall very clean with decent service and availability of all basic amenities.

F & B needs real improvement. The breakfast and dinner buffet has very limited options, which to some extent is offset by the live music over the weekends.

Pros: Amazing breakfast with a huge number of options. The option to include breakfast with room for minimal charge on Expedia was excellent.The room and grounds are quite good. Even the gift stores inside the hotel were good.

Cons: The available TV service was either not working or severely lacking in useful channels.

The cookies etc. kept in the room come with a price list. At checkout, the person at the counter tried to overcharge for them till we asked for a receipt. Maybe he was simply trying to speed things up by not returning change? Other employees were fine.

Choices in Aurangabad, gateway to Ajanta and Ellora caves, are limited. This hotel is quite packed with local and foreign tourists. Rooms and amenities are merely acceptable but at least very clean. Foods in the restaurant are ok and good for 2-3 days explore in the area.
