A Gem in Italy

My stay here was related to a local dance festival. Although travel via taxi is a bit pricey, the location was perfect. Everything from the spa/sauna to the restaurant and room was lovely. There were a couple of minor things, like the length of my massage falling short of my purchased hour, but nothing to really take away from the beauty of this location. The kindness and patience of the majority of the staff is very nice. I loved it here.

Pros - The front desk and most other staff was very kind and patient with me. The location is beautiful as are the room and restaurant. I regret not buying the bottle of wine that was freshly opened for me. This is one of the cleanest places I've stayed and it was absolutely a lovely addition to my short trip.

Cons - The massage should be the full hour. I arrived early and waited, which is fine and necessary. However, my massage was not the full hour. It began 10 minutes late and ended 10 minutes early (20 minutes total lost).

We came back again! We discovered this time the spa with saunas! Amazing ! Everything and everywhere is so clean and neat. Staff is absolutely amazing! Almost nothing to do w the Winery apart from the restaurant wine list.

Outside heated pool was under construction and out of use, unlike the statement on the hotels website.
Actually half of the hotel is under construction and quite noisy.

€10 pp for spa area (+€3 for the caps)

Not a bad hotel but definitely way overpriced for what it is.

Easy check in with very friendly, well informed and professional staff. Large hotel with restaurant on site. We appreciated the bottle of wine and water and especially appreciated that we could take the wine with us to dinner in their restaurant. The pools are large and well maintained although we only used it the one time. Bathroom is a little tired. I enjoy a heated towel rail which this didn't have. The lighting in the room is very dim. I would like to have more light available. The restaurant is amazing and they really know their wines!

Wonderful spa hotel, we arrived early and the room wasn’t ready but we could use the pool. It’s worth going on a weekday to use the spa as it’s not very busy. However on a weekend I’d imagine it would be too small to accommodate many people and wouldn’t be as much fun. The room were spacious and clean and comfortable.

Great hotel in between Verona and lake Garda. Everything you would expect of a Spa Hotel. Food at the restaurant is exquisite. Staff knowledge of wine extensive. Staff could not do enough for you. The hotel is not close to many other restaurants that you can walk to safely, busy road and no footpaths. Supermarket close by but a car would be essential, which the hotel admits.
The area feels more industrial.

This relaxing retreat was a wonderful place to stop and catch our breath after a red eye flight into Milan. It was about halfway between Milan and Venice. We took a nice swim, had a delicious dinner out on the patio and a lovely, very generous breakfast in the charming courtyard.

Outstanding Stay at Villa Quaranta Tomassi

This is a facinating property if you are into: fine diring, refined staffing, nearby wineries producing amarone, ripasso, lambesco and a variety of high quality white wines. The staff provided guidance and assistance throughout pur staff. The spa is one of the best ever with two olympic sized pools, sports training staff, saina, steam and massage. The breakfast is outstanding and the leisure areas are plentiful, roomy and quiet. With Lake Garda moments away for your touring pleasure. We cannot wait to return.

We stayed at this hotel for 10 days in July 2017. The hotel is well positioned and central to the major cities such as Verona 20 mins, Venice 1.30 mins, and the many little towns around Lake Garda.

Great breakfasts, very friendly staff and very clean room and communal areas and to top it all the Spa facilities were amazing.

Sprawling property with many upscale amenities and things. We had dinner reservations for 7:30 when the restaurant opens and had some time to kill. When we asked about getting a glass of wine at their wine bar they told us it was opening a little later than usual so we sat in the lobby. After about ten minutes one of the staff came up to us said \"Are you ready for your Appointment?\". A little surprised as we had just asked for a glass of wine somewhere we said yes. We were taken to a wonderful tasting area with linen tablecloths amid stacks of wine bottles. We chose the white tasting with Prosecco and another white. After explaining the wine he poured the Prosecco and the white, brought us breadsticks and left the bottles! Just before 7:30 he said \"Are you ready for dinner?\" Escorting us to their restaurant for a great meal. By the way 24 euro for the all you want tasting!!! Take the Tomassi winery Tour also - it rounds out the day perfectly. Breakfast incredible with everything under the sun.

We stayed 2 nights, mainly due to its location inbetween Lake Garda and Verona. We had a family room for 4, with the kids having twins rooms within the room, but on a floor above. Comfortable and clean with ample parking as you will need a car. The breakfast buffet was very good. The indoor pool was great and enjoyed by all the family.

We had a great stay in this hotel. The spa pools are amazing and the kids loved them. Outside pool is a bit boring but clean etc with plenty of loungers. Room had a mezzanine for the kids beds which was really handy (room very dark though with only one small window and not enough lamps). Have to wear swimming caps which is a bit weird but the hotel sell them for £2.50 each. Staff very friendly. Would definitely return.

The Hotel is in a good location for easy travel to the Airport, Verona and Lake Garda. Unfortunately nothing in the immediate area to the hotel. You need a car to visit the area and recommend visiting Sirmione, Bardolino, Garda, not to mention the Opera at the Arena etc, all within 20 - 30 mins drive. The hotel facilities are excellent, offering a comfortable, quiet and relaxing environment. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The Restaurant offers a great menu and is good value. Recommend the Tommasi wine tasting. Some evenings there was live music outdoors around the swimming pool.

Lovely hotel with great sports facilities

Not a straightforward hotel to find. We picked our rental car up and headed out with the directions. After awhile of asking people for directions and nobody knowing, we were kindly chaperoned to it by a lovely local family (who weren't too sure themselves)! Eventually we found it in a Ospedaletto - not on our map! However, it was worth the wait. Lovely, clean hotel and room, helpful staff and spoke good English. Great outdoor pool and café lots of available sunbeds and space. The indoor pool though was very good with designated areas for swimming and plenty of different hydro thermal spas, the gym was very well equipped and very underused. These areas are important to us and for a nice change, we were pleasantly surprised! The only downside to the gym and indoor pool were the opening times. They don't open until 09.30 am so ended up waiting to use it before getting on with our day. The room was nice, a bit dark in decoration, but apparently they are all different! Very small shower and walls are made of paper!!

A good alternative to the city hotels

Having seen some beautiful photos of charming and classical rooms before booking, we got a mixed first impression upon arrival. The main building is very modern but stylish, the same goes for the rooms in that section. We had two completely different rooms, one in the old part, which was very much like expected, small but cozy. The other one was more like any other hotel room you find elsewhere. I would go there again, but would then choose a double deluxe room in the traditional style. Please note that if you find the air conditioning not working, just call the reception and they'll make the necessary adjustments :-) I think the staff should inform about this. They were however very friendly and helpful. The outdoor swimming pool area is beautiful and large, so guests with or without children had enough space to play around or just relax. I didn't have time to enjoy the spa, but it looks very nice. Maybe next time! Since this hotel is outside Verona, I personally think they should offer free WiFi as well as an affordable shuttle service to Verona; 25 Euro per person per way is too much!

Villa Quaranta is located 20 minutes drive to the North West of Verona. Located in a small village of Ospedaletto. Located just to the side of the main road the hotel sits within a walled area which houses the Hotel, new and old buildings, the Villa which houses the restaurant and Large Breakfast room, court yard and chapel (with Mass on Sunday at 10.00). There is also a sports complex with pools Gym and Spa and also an outdoor pool. We had a six night stay which was very realxing. The Villa is a good spot for getting to Verona and the Lake.

I needed to change the room as the first room was dark and small. I was unable to be moved when I checked in, only the following day. I was shown two rooms, which were an I prove meant on the first room.
I requested feather pillows but they did not have any. The pillows were very hard, man made ones.
It was necessary to pay for towels for the pool, something that I had not experienced ever before. The pool area was very good.
The overall quality was good, but not excellent.

Absolutely loved this hotel owned by the Tommasi family. The hotel itself is very modern, yet maintains a classic feel to it. The Fitness and Spa facilities are top notch, if that is what you're looking for... and the restaurant villa next door is fantastic! Parking is free and convenient in front of the hotel... and you can buy Tommasi wines right at the front desk at checkout if you wish. The staff is very good, and this place is all around fantastic. A+ !

An Very Special Place

Although out of the way, this lovely spa located in what was once a place where pilgrims stayed in the Middle Ages on the pilgrimage route to Spain is a rare experience. Not only are the gardens lovely, but the dining experience was exceptional. In fact, we had our very best meal there on our whole vacation that included the Austrian alps, Slovenia, and northern Italy. I would caution asking for very exact directions, however, since the hotel does not have a sign and you can miss it as we did, over and over for an hour!

The hotel is very nice but we were quite disappointed upon arrival, when we realised that it's not a nice old villa in a beautiful park. The website forgets to mention the ugly new buildling (still under construction) in the middle of the park which completely ruins the ambience. The service is good, the staff is helpful, but not very friendly. If you can forget the new building and have a good GPS, you certainly will have a good time here.

Charming Hotel!

We loved the gardens, private access to the beach and the available parking. Thankfully it was not too warm since the room did not have any air conditioning. The room was just OK and the bed was fairly hard and the furnishings were well used. The staff was very friendly and helpful which was a plus. The restaurant was excellent and the food we had was superb. This was the only hotel on our trip that did not include breakfast. Overall the experience was good but not great.

Deilige senger, sov kanskje 5 timer fordi aircondition var termostatstyrt og slo seg av og på hele natten. Spise middag på stedet, det kan sterkt anbefales, men ble skuffet over at vi ikke hadde tilgang til bassenget inne da det var stengt ved ankomstdag, og åpnet neste dag kl11.00 - da måtte vi sjekket ut, men kunne benytte bassenget til 12.00😇

Wir sind in einer Gruppe gereist, hatten ziemlich kurzfristig gebucht und trotzdem hat alles reibungslos geklappt und das Hotel ist genau so toll wie es beschrieben ist.
Nur eine Kleinigkeit hat uns gefehlt, ein deutscher Fernsehsender.
Wir werden sicherlich im nächsten Jahr wiederkommen.

Es war ein ganz toller Urlaub. Die Angestellten waren sehr aufmerksam, freundlich, zuvorkommend. Egal ob im Hotel oder am Pool.
Unser Zimmer im alten Gebäude war gemütlich, das Bett bequem. Es gab Dusch- und Bodycreme, Shampoo, Hand- und Duschtücher, Bademäntel, Latschen, Badetücher , kosmetikspiegel, Föhn.
Flachbildfernseher, leider nur italienische Programme. Jeden Tag eine Flasche Wasser, Wasserkocher, Tee und Kaffe
Die ganze Anlage ist sehr sauber.
Der Park ist hübsch angelegt. Es gibt auf dem Teich einen Schwan.
Das Parken ist vor dem Hotel sowie in der Tiefgarage kostenlos
Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und sehr lecker

Romantik, Business und Spa in einem

Waren leider nur auf der Durchreise. Herrlicher grosser Aussenpool. Viele Liegen und Sonnenschirme. Abendessen im hoteleigenen Restaurant (Innenhof-Garten). Schönes, gepflegtes historisches Anwesen mit angegliedertem moderneren Kongresszentrum. Hatten leider keine Zeit für Innenpool- Landschaft und Gym. Beides aber sehr ansprechend und einladend. Frühstück ebenfalls im Innenhof. Kommen gern wieder.
