This is really a roadside motel which is fine for an overnight stay en route to Santander. Decent restaurant/bar/cafe opposite, big car park. Petrol station opposite, lorry park behind. Comfortable, clean basic room. No village or anywhere to explore. Nice lady on the front desk.

Great stop just off motorway with bar & restaurant across the huge car park and a petrol station opposite.
Staff are very friendly and helpful here.
There is a lorry park nearby with refrigerated wagons parking up, but on closing door and window there was no disturbance.

Polite staff, spotlessly clean room and bathroom, comfy bed, the hotel is ideally situated just off the motorway with plenty parking spaces and charging facilities. Bar/restaurants are within walking distance for dinner.
Its an ideal stopover en-route to the ferry ports of Santander or Bilbao.

We were disappointed in this hotel. The room was dark and not very well appointed. The worst thing was that the rooms open out straight onto the car park. There is no restaurant onsite, it uses a restaurant on the other side of the car park which is not very good at all. Poorly cooked food and a very limited menu.

Good dog friendly overnight stay

Stayed at the hotel enroute to France.Good stop over and dog friendly although did not provide water bowl etc.Reception were friendly and efficient.2 Restaurants close by but dogs not allowed inside which is a bit of a problem in winter as too cold to sit outside.The restaurant cafe next to fuel station does however provide take out food.
Would recommend this hotel as a stop over, comfortable bed and nice hot shower.

This was a very nice 3 star hotel off the beaten path, near to the highway corridor’s that take to the many wineries in the area. Staff was very helpful and nice. Room was utilitarian and clean. Restaurant across the street was part of a gas station with excellent food.

We have stayed here before and found it very convenient for the journey up to Santander.Excellent standard of cleanliness+friendly and obliging staff.Only one negative the mattresses are on the hard side and therefore not at all comfortable.

I only stayed here for one night but for that purpose it was perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was great. The shower was slightly broken which made it awkward to use but this was only a very minor issue. If I was passing through the area again for the night I would definitely stay again.

Good restaurant opposite. Had great dinner there. Room is in attic space, feels claustrophobic. Roof is dark beams. No tea/coffee facilities as restaurant is not open early . Air con is hard to adjust, freezing cold or airless. Would stay again if in different room. Value for money.

Just an overnight en route to a French ferry. Quiet location off the motorway with a garage across the road and a choice of restaurants. No food in hotel though which is a shame. Last time I stayed breakfast was available but no more.

The best so far of many stopover hotels I have used on my regular drives through Spain. In am excellent location by the motorway with restauraunt and fuel station all on site. The room was immaculate with 'nice' touches including free toiletries etc. As has been mentioned in other reviews unfortunately (for me) the beds are rather firm.

The hotel is in a perfect location, close to the highway but quiet. A nice restaurant and shop close by also. The rooms are very clean and tidy with big windows to let the cool evening air in. They allow dogs too, only on ground floor rooms, which is great. The staff were wonderfully polite and helpful. All in all the best hotel in this price range I have ever stayed in. The wine on sale at reception is also delicious!

Travel from France to Spain. Overnight stop. Extremely friendly, safe with the virus. Convenient from the motorway and restaurant nearby which is walkable. The only reason we gave less for comfort is because they are very firm beds and we prefer a softer one.

A comfortable and friendly hotel

This is the third time that I have stayed here and the hotel has been consistently excellent on each visit. The reception staff speak excellent English and are very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean, as are the bathrooms. My only minor negative points are: that the room was a little too warm, and that stiff landing doors made it difficult to manoeuvre my wife's wheelchair. Otherwise the disabled access was good.

Close to the main north south road this hotel is a good stop-over. The facilities are good; restaurant, car parking, etc. and despite closeness to the maain road its quiet. Well run hotel. We left something behind and they were very accommodating in getting it sent on.

Handy for overnight from Bilbao to the South East.

Hotel is fine with friendly capable, English speaking receptionist.
Special deal for evening menu 15 or 23 euro in adjacent restaurant.
Beds were harder than we are used to but others may find them merely "firm"
Bathroom is immaculate and shower excellent.
TV is small (and a long way from the pillow end) with minimal UK channels but worked OK
We have used this hotel three times now and will again on our way back to UK in the Spring.

Good sized bathroom. Arrived late in the evening but had to walk to restaurant / bar across the parking area to get a drink as no hot drinks available in hotel.

Great stopover hotel to or from Santander/Bilbao.

Lovely room with aircon, free wifi, tv, modern bathroom with large shower and hairdryer. Free continental breakfast. This hotel is very convenient just off the A1 north of Madrid. Easy to find. 24 hour security in the car park. What makes it more of a gem is its restaurant. We had a fantastic lunch there. They have a large brick oven where they were cooking fresh lamb. The locals were piling in, and you can't have a better recommendation than that can you?

The staff were very attentive and the hotel clean and comfortable.
Very disappointed with the Breakfast, I had ordered and paid for "full breakfast".
This turned out to be a toasted roll with butter and jam, tea or coffee, two very slim pieces of cake and two biscuits.
When I pay for Full breakfast I expect eggs, bacon, sausages, ham, meats etc etc.
The description of Full Breakfast is incorrect and should be deleted from the options.

Situated just off the motorway this hotel is ideal for a nights stay on the way to Santander. It is clean and comfortable and appeared to have been recently refurbished. The breakfast was adequate to keep us going on our journey.

We booked this hotel as an overnight stop on our way down south. It was easy to find being just off the main highway. The young woman on reception was polite and dealt well with our pigeon Spanish. The room was exceptionally clean and the bathroom had all you would need for and overnight stop, soap,comb, disposable toothpaste, toothbrush, and razor. Opposite was a restaurant which looked good and also another one across the road near the petrol station (these are the only three buildings around), which the children preferred so we ate here, food was good and plentiful. My only criticism, which is a personal one, was that the pillows were a little firm. All in all a little gem,of a find.

What a gem on the Duero River!

Fantastic, charming, modern hotel right on the Duero river! Comfortable stay and wonderful outside area where you can step out of your room and listen to the river and birds. Breakfast and service was solid. I would recommend to lol travelers. I was ther on business however, I mentioned to my guests that I would bring my family back to stay longer.

A good place to stop and rest after a long day on the road. The room was very clean, functional and comfortable. For the price i thought it was very good value for money. I slept soundly ready to hit the road again the next day. The resturant across theh car park did a good evening meal for reasonable cost.

Perfect for overnight stop

Easy to find located just off the autovia south of Burgos. Friendly staff, very clean, comfortable room with a small bathroom. Good bedding and towels. Excellent breakfast, fruit, yoghurt, toast, tomato, plenty of tea or coffee. No evening restaurant, but excellent restaurant and across the car park, serving good choice of menu. Would definitely recommend and use again when passing.
