BEST PLACE IN SPAIN

I have done multiple trips to Spain, all over Spain, nothing compares to Finca la Bobadilla. The food, the service, the grounds, the amenities. Unreal feels like a ferry tail. Do not go to Spain without going here, you will miss out on true beauty.

Peaceful, quiet and easy going, a few changes have been made which I was disappointed in. Before we could have eaten early in the evening in a separate area which we enjoyed. The dinner at the breakfast area was disappointing, not much on the menu and what we had wasn’t good. We prefer to eat early and found the Finca restaurant good but too expensive

The food at their Michelin star restaurant La Finca was amazing, the food at El Mirador, the lunch venue, was good but a bit pricey, the food at the bar restaurant came short for a 5 star hotel. The pool cocktail were disappointing. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Options for restaurants nearby were limited. But lots of great day tip opportunities (La Ronda, Granada, Malaga, etc.)

I set my expectations a bit too high for this place. It was a great stay overall but did not meet expectations. Please be sure to book correct rooms for the amount of people you have. We had to upgrade on site because they counted my 3 month baby as a person staying in the room even though he slept in bed with my husband and I. It was a less than warm welcome to the property.

Perfect for a couple's getaway

We had a great time in the hotel. The staff is really friendly and helpful, and the location is beautiful.

We tried the spa, as well as their Michelin star restaurant. The experience is a bit expensive but definitely worth trying if you are going for an expecial ocassion.

An unforgettable stay

La Bobadilla was exceptional. Staff were beyond attentive no matter your request. Both the restaurants were amazing, especially La Finca’s taster menu of which we have never had an experience like it. Our room was tastefully decorated in an old-style, with a beautiful patio with stunning views. Housekeeping did an amazing job at tidying the room and with turn-down service. All amenities were great. The only downside was that we didn’t stay long enough!

Great hotel but be prepared to pay for ice!!

Stay was great however air conditioning in room was not working very well and most surprisingly when we asked for a bucket of ice for wine they brought it and charged 5 euros for the ice. Never experienced this at a hotel of this caliber and price, ice should be included in the price of the stay! Most hotels that are far more affordable have free ice machines!

Overall we loved this resort. The setting is beautiful, the staff was friendly and professional, the room was comfortable and well appointed. There were a couple of issues however, to make note of. First, we booked a terrace suite which was lovely, but the location of our suite was less than desirable. It was located right in between the main lobby and the restaurant, so when we sat out on our beautiful terrace, we were being stared at by the people sitting in the lobby or the people in the restaurant. It was extremely uncomfortable due to the lack of privacy. We were in room 6 which while beautiful, I would not recommend to anyone who wants privacy. The other issue we encountered was the tasting dinner called \"La Finca\". When the front desk staff told us about it, they said that it was a twelve course tasking menu with wine pairings. They never mentioned that any alcohol we consumed during the tasting dinner was an additional charge, we thought it would be included in the price of the tasting dinner. We weren't told about this until we were already in the tasting dinner and they were about to pour us a glass of wine. We asked if there was a charge and they said that there was. We felt like this was something the staff should have told us before we were already in the dinner. The hotel should consider including the wine pairings with this tasting menu and then just adjust the price accordingly to account for this so that people aren't caught off guard.

Tranquil and perfect in every way

This was our third time at La Bobadilla, and it didn't disappoint. The hotel and its surroundings are beautiful, and the staff are super helpful and friendly. Despite the ongoing covid situation we always felt safe and it was an excellent place to relax and escape for a few days. Can't wait to go back again.

Great hotel but food could be better

Super nice hotel, excellent room and bed, great service and pool area

The only negative was the food which felt below the standard of the rest of the hotel. It was not bad per se, but just a bit average.

(We ate at the mirador for lunch and the burger was a bit cold and the cheese felt straight out of the fridge. Then ate at the Cortijo at night and food was not bad but nothing special)

Beautiful Bobadilla.

Our stay at La bobadilla was amazing, from the moment we arrived with a welcome drink and iced towels the experience only got better.we were travelling with our dog who was welcome in most areas of the hotel (unlike others we stayed in).our room was very comfortable with great facilities and views.
The weather was not the best but we managed to do several walks in the extensive grounds and the pool area was so inviting so disappointed not to swim with the torrential downpours.
Service was excellent in all aspects and food very good in el cortijo restaurant but the breakfast wins 10 stars for quality and variety - amazing.
So many things to do from biking,buggy riding and padel to relaxing in the spa or reading in one of the many beautiful seating areas.
Cannot wait for my next trip - truly.

Beautiful Luxury Resort

Gorgeous property that truly deserves the distinction, Leading Hotel of the World. Staff is exemplary, polite, and always helpful. Highly recommend this hotel. Many activities including horseback riding, tennis, hiking, pool, mountain biking, and soon to be, ATV riding. Nice spa as well.

Good option in rural Andalucia

This is a pleasant rural hotel that features very good food, attentive service, competent outdoor facilities (pool, tennis, hiking) and a joyous Spanish touch. The breakfast is excellent, with great service. This hotel seems highly suitable for couples and families alike. Another selling point is the position of the hotel, which is roughly equidistant from Granada, Malaga, Cordoba and Ronda (from 45-90 min drive from the hotel). Negatives include the room furnishings (our room was decorated in 'shabby chic' decor) and some lack of direction and signage around the property. Staff in the bar also seem overwhelmed on occasion. Overall, it's a pleasant option for a stay in rural Andalucia.

We had a superior deluxe room which was more like a suite with a spacious longe area and a massive bathroom

Great hotel for a relaxing break

Great service, good food, nice room and lovely atmosphere. Massages were excellent and would have been a 5 star review if it wasn't for the fact the steam room wasn't working and the indoor pool was pretty chilli so the spa was a little disappointing.

Great Alhambra Alternative to Staying in Granada

Among the wonderful features of this hotel is how it seems to rise up as an oasis in the middle of an olive tree grove. Wonderful destination property for families with great food and a huge pool in a park-like setting. Suite decor is a bit dated, but it was very roomy, with a private patio. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was clean. This hotel is the perfect alternative to staying in Granada itself, as it is only an easy 45 minute drive from the Alhambra.

Out of the way tranquility

Very nice hotel. Lovely room (junior suite), good service, quiet, large pool, tennis and padel. Extensive grounds with bike track and walking routes. Breakfast - outstanding
