I didn’t stay here. The room was booked. The manager called me and said they had a power outage that somehow only affected the floor my room was on. The manager took care of it and told me she made arrangements for me and my family at a close by hotel and told me “I got you a great deal on the rate”. The rate was better cause we were sent to a much lower end hotel no where near as nice.

Location:
The hotel is located in Saket, South Delhi just next to the biggest shopping malls DLF Avenue and City Select Walk. The location is perfect for shopping, touring, and going around the very posh area Mehrauli, which isn’t too far. The area is very safe & quiet and the palm lined footpaths are very pretty. There’s also a big Costa Cafe just after Haldirams and also an ATM machine.

The Hotel:
Reception is very impressive with a huge centre piece containing fresh flowers is beautiful. The lobby is equally nice with good seating area and is very clean and tasteful.
The staff are highly professional and very nice and look out for their guests. A special thanks to Richa who really took care of me when I fell down whilst shopping.

The Rooms:
The rooms are a good size, with a double bed, desk and a small table and an armchair. The bathroom is also decent in size, with a bath tub.
However, despite being renovated some years ago, I feel that the rooms need to be refurbished and the carpets to be replaced. The whole set up is in dire need of modernisation.
I wasn’t happy with my room, the carpet was very dirty, the room in general was dusty. However, Mr. Mukesh took exceptional care to ensure that my room was clean & tidy every day for my 10 day duration! Thanks to Mr. Mukesh, my room was made more comfortable and all of my complaints were dealt with promptly.

Breakfast:
Generally a good spread. However, the morning bakery section can be improved with more choice.

The stay was pleasant but the staff were very rude when we had to cut our trip short due to unforeseen circumstances and family emergency. The manager did nothing to assist with our stay or compensation for this. We had requested even a partial refund of our days remaining that were paid for and they did not assist and directed us back to where we booked. Hotels.com tried to assist but pointed us back to the hotel and said there is nothing that they can help with

I stayed at the hotel at the beginning of my trip and at the end of my trip (so two nights but not back to back). The first check-in was great, flawless. The second was not. Initially they could not find the reservation and when they finally did find it then they had several questions that were not asked the first time. The second check in they said they required two forms of ID when asked why then they changed their mind. The second time they required a higher amount to hold on credit card than the first check in. When asked why they didn’t have answer. There was lots of talking amongst themselves and check in took over 25 minutes before they handed over the room key.

This is a very nice hotel. We can imagine that we'd use it again. Things worked smoothly, location is quite good in south Delhi next to CityWalk Mall. There were no real issues with service at the hotel, but the staff at breakfast seemed kind of like zombies. Not very friendly and really not very attentive. It was all easy to manage.

The hotel location is excellent, next to some fabulous malls in new delhi. The hotel is well maintained, although I personally felt the bed mattresses were sagging due to age. It took ages for room service to fetch even coffee, 45 minutes, and a reminder call after 30 mins. Hence there's scope for improvement. These glitches apart, the hotel is still worth a stay.

Nice property/location, with staff who don't understand hospitality. Check in was a fiasco since they didn't seem to have details of my confirmed reservation. They also made me pay up front in the guise of a pre-authorization of my credit card. The front desk staff seemed clueless as did most of the serving staff subsequently. Check out was equally frustrating. The housekeeping staff on the other hand were great. This Marriott property managed by ITC needs to get its' act together.

Stayed for 10 days at the hotel and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel location is great - it is next to a mall yet you are shielded from the hustle and bustle there. The breakfast buffet is excellent with a lot of variety (indian and western options) and custom made orders for omelletes and indian dishes are a nice touch. Dinner buffet is good but breakfast is better. The staff is very attentive and friendly and all Covid protocols are followed. Daily housekeeping happened without any gaps. Had one dinner at the Chinese restaurant and the food was excellent. The hotel has a very warm feeling to it with the right level of modernization and traditional decor. The lobby is big and is a great place to relax with a bar adjacent to it. Will definitely stay here again for future visits to Delhi.

Poor reservation management

Had booked the hotel for my guest. On arrival they said there is no reservation whereas he had all the confirmed derails from hotels.com
The front desk was not helpful at all.
I tried calling them it was next to impossible to reach reservations, front desk or the duty manager.
Over and above they said the hotel is sold out. Eventually they gave the room after lot of coaxing by me on the phone and by my guest at the hotel.
Really don’t understand how can they say there is no booking upon arrival, in fact they said they don’t have a booking arrangement with my agent at all i.e. hotels.com
Sad situation and huge discomfort for my guest and me.
