Decor is outdated. Service was very slow. We asked for extra bedding for the sofa bed in the morning and by the time we arrived in the evening it wasn’t done. Asked again in the evening nearly 5 times and took 2 hours to receive it after complaining at the front desk after asking over the phone. Also very dangerous pool - the grating that goes around the pool is made of weak plastic - I had just stepped on it to go into the pool and it broke under my foot and cut my foot. The lifeguard at the pool didn’t care and only was more concerned that the grating had been broken and how to fix it. Hazardous! Avoid this hotel!

The property is fairly dated and not in the best condition. There is definitely a stale smell that lingers around. We checked out 2 days early but were told by Expedia that the property would not issue a refund.

I am surprised this property meet's Hilton standards. On a positive note the location is pretty central

From the hotel entryway (Deshpal), to the front counter (Natinda), to the Room cleaning (Meena), and the transportation (Bholu Tomar), the complete hotel was very professional, kind, and went out of their way to make our experience enjoyable. The mall was a bonus, especially for our Adopted Daughter. Meena, truly went the extra mile and made our daughter feel special. The breakfast was first class, and the restaurants in the mall were amazing as well.

The good - the hotel has direct access to and next to 3 of Delhi's malls. Also around 30 min from Delhi's attractions (largely dependent on time/traffic). Uber cheap and readily available. Buffet breakfast the best part of our stay with a very cheerful head chef!
The rooms are clean, bed comfortable, however the bathroom needs a painter/decorator etc!
Messaged hotel on Expedia to ask for interconnecting rooms, reply back to say of course, yet not provided when we checked in at 2am. Only arranged for the last night of our 3 day stay.
Lots of hotel staff in suits roaming around, however could do with training reception staff/room maintenance.
Overall an ok price point for location.

Terrible Hilton Garden Inn stay in Delhi

The start of my stay was full of disappointment and so was my departure from the hotel! My suitcase didn’t arrive and was delivered to the hotel 16 hours after my arrival. Upon inquiry with multiple reception staff, I was told thatcher had not received my luggage, which resulted in anxiety and costs to purchase necessary clothing from the mall. An expense that will not be borne by neither the airline nor by my travel insurance. The last night of my stay I was ill throughout the night. My niece, who had been visiting me unhindered by staff all week several times daily during my week’s stay, came by to assist in packing my suitcase. Upon arrival she was asked to present an id card which she had neglected to carry and therefore was not allowed to come to my room. She called me and I called the reception from the room phone, spoke to Aladdin receptionist who promised to allow her. In a few minutes my niece called again to say that now there was a manly assistant at reception was not allowing her after all. I spoke to him and explained that I wasn’t well and to allow her please. He refused and would not even send a staff member along with her to ensure security and that she was only coming up to my room, not wandering in the hotel. I had to dress and come down to confront him and take her up with me. At no point during this 15 min phone and personal exchange was this person considerate of my health condition, a hotel guest of age 75 years! Shameful!

I slipped and fell in the dining area. They do not put any wet floor signage. Food on the floor not cleaned up and I ended up stepping on it and falling. They need to pay attention to the dining floor for and spillage . Good thing I didn’t get injured could have been a disaster knowing I picked up a safer hotel for my stay.

We had 4 rooms booked for our stay:
1. Rooms were not on same floor
2. Two rooms assigned on level 7 which we later realised was a smokers floor which we were not told. Stay was miserable in these rooms and apparently no other rooms were available. All bookings were non smoking.
3. Air conditioner broke in the other room on 6th floor and and the poor maintenance guy tried to temporarily fix it but the hack did not work and this went on till 2.30 am and by that time our tired bodies had lost the strength to argue the case and we slept in that room which was stinking.
3. The only saving grace of dilapidated building was - extremely courteous staff who against all odds were always willing to help. And may be the geographical location.

The hotel was located in a very convenient loacation, in south delhi, next to Saket select City & DLF mall and
direct access to the mall from the hotel was a plus. Rooms were large, comfortable and clean. Service could have been improved. The bfast when asked to be served in the room was very bare minimum even though the buffet was paid for. A few things ordered other than bfast took a lot of time. Otherwise a good choice of hotel

The mall makes it easy to stay for convenience but please do your research before booking.

Is this the Hilton Experience : DISGUSTING

I was staying here for peace of mind while Attending to my critically ill Father at a nearby Hospital and the Managers at this hotel have Zero Empathy.
Needed constant reminders for cleaning the Rooms, Garbage was left in the room on more than 2 occasions, The washrooms had muddy sediments mixed dark colored water, The Beds weren’t made Properly a lot of times, staff was argumentative often, 2 nights the Airconditioner wasnt working at all, No ventilation in the room.

On top of all this experience, they have over charged me for Rupees 9000 approx and till date have made no effort to refund it and have not given me a prompt timeline to make up for such a Inhospitable stay… Should not call Themselves a Hotel.. and definitely not expected from a Hilton

This property is worth only 3k per day. It’s not a luxury property. There is smoke smell everywhere including the non smoking areas and rooms. The bathrooms are crappy. Very old sofa in the rooms. This property needs a complete renovation. There is dirt and filth everywhere. Food was decent. Other than that there is nothing worth mentioning about. If you are paying 8-10k for one night here then the least you expect is cleanliness and hygiene, this place has neither. I wouldn’t come back again. The decor and carpets are really bad. Hilton has disappointed me to the core.

Great safe location with plenty of shopping and eatery’s nearby. Large clean rooms ( thank you Vipin for keeping our room so nice) and a welcoming lobby. The breakfast was incredible! Saying it was expansive is an understatement. There was something for everyone. We enjoyed the Indian food most and this was noticed by the staff, especially Kapil. Kapil took extra care of us and brought us freshly made Indian delicacies that we had not had before. The excellent food and special services of Kapil and also Sufiyan made for a wonderful start to every day. All in all, the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. When we return, we will choose The Hilton Garden Inn again.

The hotel is convenient and located in the mall with several shops and eating joints. The overall breakfast quality was average , its odd setup that the food is placed a few levels above and one has to walk down the steps to the tables to eat. Tea quality is somewhat below average. Indian breakfast and late night dining options are good. Staff provided good service. The shower floor is slippery and no face wash.

Two burnt spots on the carpet, the bedboard covered in dust, smudges on the window, hairs on a shower drain, a broken curtain rail, and an opened bottle of shower gel. After a day, they changed the lines and “cleaned” my room but all of those above stayed the same.
