Reasonably good stay but the A/C didn’t work well

It is a very good hotel, clean, with attentive staff (especially Mr. Hasan at the front). Parking is available at the back. But the air conditioning did not work well for some reason in our room even when we dropped the setpoint down to 18°C). It became unbearably hot (27°C) in our room. We needed to open our window in order to cool it down overnight, which seems like a ghetto thing to have to do in such a high-class hotel. Very strange. But otherwise a reasonably good stay.

Very pleasant stay; great service. Gorgeous spa/sauna + great massage services. Up to par with other 4/5-star hotels in other countries. They also let us check in early and check out late.

We tried the restaurant in the hotel and really liked the fish soup (balik corba).

Some basic Turkish is recommended if you want to communicate clearly with the hotel staff!

I give this hotel bad point that they take my passport and my wife passport too until we make check out next day.
I don not know why they do it that but i suppose for granite and that strange because i paid all the rent cost before i come to hotel by this website.

Terrible Welcome

I arrived late, at around 11pm, and was tired after a long drive. I was consequently unhappy when the doorman/porter (who was dressed more akin to a maintenance engineer) stopped me from driving into the parking area because he was giving preference to departing guests who were blocking the entrance with a continuing stream of cars. When I managed to break through the queue he directed me where to park, I grabbed my bags and went to reception. He rudely and aggressively followed me in and demanded my keys so he could move my car from where he had directed me to park it and refused as it had been correctly parked with no valet nor porterage offered on arrival. I paid an extortionate extra amount for my travel companion to unexpectedly share a twin room with me even though the room had been equipped for only one guest and there was no shower gel provided whatsoever. The room was good otherwise, and breakfast was fine, but my stay had been irreversibly clouded by the rudeness of staff on arrival. Seriously not worth its rating!

My stay at the Grand Hotel in Gaziantep.

The hotel staff was great, except the Manager who refused to acknowledge the problem. The hotel promotes non smoking enviorement, but all the hotel rooms are rented both smokers and non smoker. There is sign of non smoking for each floor , but in reality the hotel deceives the customers and promotes unethically their services. I expressed my concerns and the managment ignored it and insisted that the hotels reserves non slowing customers to particular floor, but frankly speaking that was not the case. The smell of the smoke of the rooms really untolerable spatially for non smoking customers. I am allergic to smoking smell as well as asmathic, unfortunately , the hotel managment was in considerate to my health problems. Another problem to point out is there were tow computer at lobby for the customers only one was working and there was no ink in the printer.

If you are a smoker you will really enjoy it, but for non smokers it would be a nightmare . I would not recommend for non smokers or customers with children in this hotel , it really health hazard. The WIFI was very weak in the rooms , it only works properly at the lobby
To be fair the hotel has the best buffet breakfast and the Safir Restuarent was excellent.

Very Convenient Stay

I always stay there when I get to Antep. The staff are super friendly. The bed is really comfy. Excellent breakfast buffet. Great location. Rooms missing nothing. Valet parking for free. Free WiFi. Best of all, very good price for everything I get. I see no truth to the other comments written. I hope they don't increase the prices soon.

Inadequacy of the Grand Hotel Gaziantep

The thermostat in the hotel registered 27 degrees Celsius. There was no cross ventilation. Although the outside temperature was 60 degrees F, inside the room was hot with stale air. I complained three times to a different receptionist and was told the problem would be fixed. It wasn't. My wife and I opened the only window we could. The hotel was on a very busy street. Traffic noise kept us awake until after midnight. The bed we slept on had poor mattress. The mattress springs could be easily felt which bothered my wife's back. On one day the toilet broke. We could not flush it until late the next day. I regret we did not stay in the Novotel or the Anatolia which, I believe, are newer hotels.
I DO NOT RCOMMEND THIS HOTEL.

RIP OFF!

I was extremely disappointed with my booking. They seemed very cheap with their breakfast as they only brought one plate of everything...three mornings I went to eat breakfast at 9:00 AM and most of the food was gone...I had to wake up early the other mornings to make sure I could find something proper to eat. The serounding area was TERRIBLE! The streets smelled very bad, and beside "kebap" and "Baklawa" there was nothing else to eat in the restaurants serounding the hotel. The worst part was that I had trouble booking a flight to Izmir as the airline's website was not working, so I requested if I could use their phone to book my flight. I ended up paying about $55 USD for using their phone for about 6 minutes...RIP OFF!!!

Odalar çok kirliydi. Tuvalet temizliği yapılmamıştı. Lavobo duşakabin ve tuvalette resmen kalıntılar vardı yerler süpürülmemişti. Şikayetimiz üzerine odayı değiştirdiler yeni odamızda da yerler bile süpürülmemişti ve tozluydu.

Uyuyana kadar sıkıntı yoktu tâki klimanın çalışmadığını görünceye kadar. Sabah namazında 31derece oda sıcaklığı vardı. Pencereyi açsan gürültü ve klima panelinin bip bip diye uyurasi, yani uyku haram oldu :(

Klima harici kesinlikle tercih ederdim ama klima baya kötü etkiledi. Beraber gezdiğimiz ikinci aile da aynı klimadan şikayetçiydi. Yakışmıyor böyle bir otele

The Master Chef Of The Grand Hotel

Son yolculuğum sırasında sadece 1 gece ailemile beraber bu otelde konaklama fırsatı buldum ve deneyimimden son derece memnun kaldım. Odaların temizliği ve rahatlığı gerçekten etkileyiciydi. Oda büyüklüğü oldukça iyiydi.

Otelin otopark hizmeti de oldukça kullanışlıydı, araçla seyahat edenler için bu büyük bir avantaj.

Ancak en büyük sürpriz, otelde akşam yemeğiydi. Bu bölgede deniz ürünleri yemeklerini denemeyi sürpriz oldu. Oteldeki usta, muhteşem bir balık yemeği hazırladı. Gaziantep yorumuyla olamayacak kadar enfes bir lezzetti.

Genel olarak, bu otel mükemmel bir konaklama deneyimi sunuyor. Temizlik, rahatlık, otopark hizmeti ve özellikle muhteşem balık yemeği ile beni etkiledi. Eğer bu bölgede konaklama arıyorsanız, kesinlikle burayı tavsiye ederim.
