Nice resort. It’s pretty spread out, so you’ll want to consider which room you choose and how far you’re willing to walk. Our initial room was really far from the pool on the other side of the property, so we upgraded to a suite next to the pool. Other than that, the staff were really friendly and the room was clean.

We weren’t notified that much of the resort was under construction which out a damper on the stay. The spa was closed, the golf shop was only partially opened, long with the restaurant. It would have been good to know this as a disclaimer before booking.

I wish the coffee amenities were a better- creamer rather than powdered \"stuff\"? Our room had no view to speak of, as we overlooked the parking garage. Assessment for 2 days of \"Resort\" fees, when we are on property for less than 48 hours seemed superfluous.

I came early for a morning massage, I was given a room immediately (6 hours before check in) and it was upgraded for free. My room was very comfortable and I slept really well. All the staff was very nice and my massage from Lisa was amazing. Can’t wait for my next visit

Nice hotel overall, but I wouldn’t recommend it during the winter season. You still pay a resort fee, yet many amenities like the pool and hot tub aren’t really usable. There were also several occasions when no one was available at the front desk to assist with transportation back to our room, which was inconvenient since the property is very spread out—especially during the rain.

The tennis lesson was fun. The atmosphere was relaxing, and it felt like the perfect place for a special celebration. We’d absolutely return for another getaway.

We had issues when we checked in.The staff has tried to reach out and attempted to assist . But it's just not the experience that was advertised and the expectation that were set.The room had a different guests name with a welcome wine bottle and a plate of food which had pork items which I mentioned both in my reservation and at the desk that we do not consume pork due to our religious belief, yet both those things were in the room.I paid a non smoking room and there were cigarettes buds on the terrace table.The fireplace was not on and it doesn't have any wood logs that it can be turned on , I mean I booked the room so we could enjoy the weather and get cozy with the fireplace. A very poor and disrespectful welcome and the in room amenities not even available.The next day we went out for breakfast and our keys stopped working and we had to stand 30 minutes outside to get in our room.I am sorry but I choose Silverado resort for high end customer service and experience but It is completely missing for us.Everytime I called the staff which had to multiple times I was quickly made quite by sending me $50 resort credit.They thought it was a quick fix to get rid of the situation. It became insulting at the end I mean for them giving resort credit fixes the disrespect they showed for my religious beliefs.in the end a manager reached out and said they arose and extended recovery gestures including dining credits, waived resort fees, and additional accommodations that exceeded thei

Our stay here was disappointing to say the least. We arrived just before 4:00 and were told that due to some late check outs, our room was not ready. ETA was about 4:30-4:45 and we would be texted. At the time we were told that we would be credited an \"x\" amount of money for the inconvenience & it could be used towards food, drinks, etc at the hotel.
4:45 came and went. Checked back in & were told it would be another 15 min and we would be credited $100, which I said I would just want refunded vs having to use it. We had also mentioned that we had dinner reservations & needed to be able to get into our room. At 5:15 we finally rec'd the text.
The grounds are lovely, however, finding our room in the dark was challenging. Signs were not well lit and/or hidden behind plants. And all the employees driving around in the golf carts expect you to step aside on the narrow paths vs them pulling over and letting guests have right of way.
We finally go to the room to discover that the closet door didn't slide, the sink drain wouldn't stay open so we had to constantly push down on the lever for the water to drain, & the sheet on the box spring was dirty. Maintenance fixed the door (we had not yet discovered the other two items). Next morning we had issues w/ the shower - old, old fixture that was difficult to use & the smallest adjustment would go from really hot to cold.
At checkout no mention was made of the credit, we were not asked how our stay was and I had to push for the credit.

hotel is clean and nice. when i booked i did not realize the format and layout of this property. the rooms appear to appear to formerly be apartments where 1 bedroom with private bath is partitioned off for the apartment. so you have a private entrance from outside. my room was quite far from the check in / lobby / restaurant area. you drive there after check in. if walking there is a shortcut and the walk is about 10 min by the putting tees and driving range. you can also request hotel car or golf cart service to the room. but the rooms can be far (depending on which rooms you book). so it doesn’t quite have the same conveniences of a normal hotel. this place is abit more unique.

Will NEVER stay here again. Was told I had a King Suite with golf course view. The view was of the driving range. Our patio furniture was broken and had holes in it, so we couldnt use it. Everything in the room felt 30 years old - including the tub shower which didnt work properly and carpets which were gross. We had a fireplace with no wood. Our room phone didnt work - so had to use our cellphone to call reception and the grill to try make reservations. The only icemaker is at the pool. For the price we paid, sooooo disappointing. As a travel agent myself, I will never recommend

The resort is tired and in need of a refurbishing. We were given the least desirable room, down many garden paths to the end of the property. There was no parking anywhere near but there was a busboy with a cart to help. My wife ordered a bucket of ice and they tried to charge her $16 plus a service charge.

The property is beautiful and there is a great mix of activities, dining and lodging options. The beds are very comfy, rooms clean. However, the service is hit and miss. We showed up to find the 3 bedroom we arranged months before was no longer an option for very vague reasoning. It was a family reunion and send off, so the goal was to all be together. We were sent to the other side of the resort, with much smaller rooms, no longer connected and on the second floor where the elderly with us had trouble ascending the stairs. They should have let us know that they would no longer be able to accommodate that room for us, so that we could decide if we still wanted to stay there. We've stayed here several times and the cottages have the smallest rooms. I'm wondering if when I book through Hotels.com they chuck us to that area and then when we book direct we are placed in better room options. We did not receive a VIP amenity as per our level with hotels.com, they did give us a small discount for the trouble. However, the facilities are all wonderful and beautiful. The food is good at all of the options. We ate at the Grill three times over the weekend and the servers seemed so sad. I didn't visualize much in the way of sustainability. Each drink at the pool comes in a plastic container (not compostable) and straws are plastic too. Each food item comes in it's own bag with plastic utensils. So, everyone is throwing away bags, utensils and plastic cups all day with every order.

However, our accommodation stay was less than ideal. Ac unit was clicking all night made sleep impossible. Housekeeping came in at nine a m and woke us up. They said they offered cart pickup to and from your room to the main area but never answered.
