The hotel is situated at the edge of the city of Osnabrück, in the region Eper Mark, between Bramsche and the old monastery Malgarten, near the historic archaeological excavation of Kalkriese. The hotel offers its guests hospitality, harmony and a welcoming flair.
It was first mentioned in 1449 and then recently renovated and tastefully improved. Guests are welcomed in a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services.
Further facilities on offer to guests include lift access, a games room, TV lounge, bar, restaurant, conference facilities, WLAN Internet access (for a fee), room service and bicycle hire. Excellent hotel with good service
Idingshof is a very nice and well managed hotel. We like the place, parking and restaurant. Of course staff is very nice and helpful. There is also a lake nearby where one can take a walk after a long day in the car.

I purposely choosed this hotel because it was mentioned that there is GYM. But unfortunately GYm had only tredmill and bike nothing else

The check in was good. The room lack basic amenities. The experience was not good,I used to like this property in my pervious stays. The people are good though but there cannot be good experience with the preset setup. I won’t stay here again, will prefer AKZENT next time.

The property was set back from the road, to get to the car park you travel down a very pretty tree lined path. We arrived very late, but gained access as the reception is open with a member of staff. Check in was very fast.
The rooms were clean and tidy and the beds very comfortable, we all slept well.
The breakfast was served by very nice staff at our table, there was plenty to choose from. Overall I am very happy with the hotel, I felt safe with the measures in place to minimise the risk of covid 19. There were many places to sanitise your hands and clear notices on the floor about social distancing.

Even if i came late and ordered over internet the security man and a nice woman from the restaurant fixed it.
Maybe the management should consider to let late bookings be printed out automatically to make it easier for these people who not are receptionists?

The hotel is conveniently located for travellers heading towardsthe UK by car. It is in a lovely building, and is dog friendly. Our room was spacious enough and sparkling clean. The bathroom and shower werw both clean and modern. (The shower was powerful and warm). The staff were a complete delight, really hospitable. There is a public pool nearby and a beautiful lake with a path the whole way around it for doggie walks. This hotel is a fantastic find. We'll be back.

I stopped here for one night whilst driving through Europe. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the rooms very comfortable and completely refurbished. Breakfast was really good too.

Pleasant Hotel with good parking
I booked a single room which although small was well equipped and more than adequate. The bed was comfortable and the shower good. There was a wide variety of choices for breakfast. The staff were friendly and spoke very good English.
The only downside was that, in common with many German hotels I have stayed in, there was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. There was a bottle of mineral water, although it seemed that there was just the one regardless of the length of stay.
The grounds are pleasant and well maintained.

I love this hotel. Always try to stay here when possible. Food and service are great and the rooms are currently being renovated so they look a little more modern (very 90s previously). The only issue this time was the renovation work starting too early in the morning.

We could feel the springs in the mattress and asked if they had any others or some foam toppers, they did not. I was given 2 extra quilts for us to put on top of the mattresses. 2 extremely uncomfortable nights, which the a staff mercer confirmed was a common complaint

Beautiful hotel but lacks 4* amenities
The hotel is beautiful with a relaxing feel and quality environment. The bedroom was spacious with a good size bathroom. However, the beds were not comfortable and there were facilities missing which we expect from a 4* hotel: no coffee/tea making facilities, in-room safe, mini-bar or a fridge and only one room key. The room description lists air-conditioning but there was none and the breakfast room was quite stuffy without it. The only English language TV channel was CNN and the wi-fi reception was really bad. I had to go down to reception to use Facebook. The computer station is just one Mac. The sound insulation in the room was poor so I was awoken every morning by people moving around and doors banging. The pool is a busy public pool next door but has a slide and diving platforms. It also offered a great Saturday night live music concert with BBQ. There is a cafe on the path down to the lake for coffees and light lunch. The breakfast buffet is very good with excellent Bircher muesli. I did not use the bar but it looked popular and offers Sky Sports with an adjacent garden terrace which was beautiful. There are 3 indoor tennis courts but no outdoor courts. The fitness room has only 3 machines and a golf putting practice. There is a lovely walk around the lake at the back. We stayed here to visit family in Bramsche and given the price to quality ratio would stay again and recommend this hotel to others but it does need some updating to full 4* amenities.

Reception staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. No information was provided regarding either the hotel facilities, which were minimal anyway,or the surrounding area.

A silent room and superb breakfast = great stay
Booked this hotel purely on the basis that it was a convenient transit stop as we crossed Germany to the ferry in Kiel. We arrived to find live music on in the adjacent annex and worried that this might be a wedding that went on into the small hours. We shouldn't have worried as we couldn't hear a thing from our room despite overlooking the courtyard. Secondly we expected to have to forego breakfast due to an early start on Sunday morning, but discovered to our delight that Sunday breakfast buffet is served from 6.30am. It exceeded all our expectations.

A very beautiful and well maintained hotel with friendly and helpful staff made this a perfect stop over on the way to Hook of Holland.

Used hotel for a stop enroute back to Bremen, hotel staff were great and the room was very good. Breakfast was a typical continental offering but of a high quality.

Good for a night stay
Hotel is not remote, but not close to any place you can walk too. there is a sports club right near by. The food is very good. The grounds are good. There is not any AC which is typical, but it was hot. I moved to the city after two days.

Good all-round hotel for overnight stop en route to Denmark. Staff friendly and efficient, menu good and costs reasonable and room comfortable. Asked to change room and this was done without objection. First room had single window half way up one wall rather prison-like. Second room very good and well lit. Parking no problem and all spaces in view of hotel. Overall good value for money and well pleased with service. Will certainly use again.

Hotel was ok for the price. We only stayed one night so didn't spend much time there. I had hoped to use the spa but couldn't work out if it was open, very dark with no one around. I think the sauna was coin fed. I wasn't determined enough to find out. Room was clean and comfy, shower had good pressure. Over all ok for the money.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The dining room menu is limited but the food was excellent. We regret not being able to sit in the dining room because we had not reserved. This was after we asked in the afternoon if reservations were necessary and were told that it wasn't necessary. The dining room appeared to be set up for large groups with long tables that remained empty throughout the evening. Perhaps they were set up for groups arriving the next day. The waitress; however, was very accommodating and went out of her to set up a nice table on the outside terrace for us. We would use the hotel again if our business brings us back to Bramsche.

Do yourself a favor. If you are near here and need place, get a room and eat in the restaurant. The restaurant was really first rate. Everyone was really nice and you will not go wrong. It is a real gem.

The hotel is on the edge of a small town. I wanted a place to stay to see the varus schlacht site and it is well placed for that. The room was comfortable and I had a good sleep experience. The breakfast (included) was good.

This is a typical middle Europe commercial hotel. Food was OK, not a big menu, breakfast was good buffet style, but a little weird as there were business people and construction workers all chowing down! Staff are friendly, speak great English and the waitresses (did not see a waiter) were all very nice and helpful. My room was bland, and smelled a little odd, obviously something the maid sprayed. My room looked out on the back of the sports hall and had cigarette butts thrown on the flat roof outside. Euk. Not a place to go for romance, REALLY! Good for a one night business stay. I was there two nights and I was at my tolerance limit (but I am fussy!).

A nice hotel in quiet surroundings
We were visiting previous British Army Garrisons and Bramsche was close to Osnabruck. We were only staying for one night and when we arrived there was a large reception in full swing but the staff looked after us and were very helpful. A nice evening meal and very good breakfast.

Wonderful Hotel!!
My friends and I stayed here for a local event. The hotel is beautiful, the service is great and the workers speak English. The rooms are a little small but that's common in Europe. The bar is located on the ground floor and has a patio attached with comfy seats. Also, there's a play area for the children. I would love to stay here again if we're ever in the area!!

This is a quaint little hotel in a lovely small town. Great for families with young kids. There is a play room near the dining area and also a cubby house and play things in the back garden. The kids were given some small toys during dinner which kept them happy and the large family room we stayed in had plenty of space, with a separate room for the kids. Breakfast was also great.

It was a great experience; an immaculate room, delicious food, and a friendly staff (most of the staff we had contact with spoke English). The beds were super comfortable -I would love to have those matresses and comforters at home; we had our best sleep nights there! When I woke up each day, just the thought of the delicious breakfast buffet helped me get out of the bed and get ready for the day. I couldn't have asked for anything else!

Badezimmer-Lüfter, die 20min nachlaufen und es unmöglich machen, nachts wieder einzuschlafen, Gardinen, die nicht richtig befestigt waren…Die Freundlickeit des Personals an der Rezeption war vorbildlich, beim Frühstück war es leider das komplette Gegenteil.

Vi är jättenöjda med hotellet, rummet och maten. Däremot borde man få information om att badet och den minigolf som beskrivs på hemsidan är stängda under sommaren. Det var en av anledningarna till att vi valde detta hotell på vår bilsemester. Maten i restaurangen och frukosten var absolut toppklass, så överlag är vi nöjda med vår vistelse.

Chose this hotel because of its closeness to the autobahn. Nice big room but the lack of air conditioning and the fact that the room only had one window in the hallway made it feel a bit stuffy. But if you’re looking for a reasonable hotel en route to somewhere else then it’s fine.
