We absolutely loved the Hotel Academia. We stayed here for 2 nights on the way from Umbria back to the UK. The hotel is very comfortable and exceptionally clean. The staff are lovely and so friendly and really can’t do enough for you. The breakfast is amazing with so much to choose from and home made cake. There’s also a well stocked bar and a terrace. I’d highly recommend the hotel and would definitely go back. It’s a great place to explore Rimini with several good beaches and restaurants within the way walking distance.

A perfect spot, very close to the beach. Service was absolutely fantastic and the staff were incredibly friendly.

The rooms are a little dated and the furniture /Tv is poor but breakfast was great and fully recommend.

The hotel is wonderful, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the local places of interest. The room was very clean with a big bathroom and a pretty balcony with a table and chairs where you can relax in the evening, plus a drying rack. Fantastic breakfast buffet! The best breakfast buffet I had in Italy! They have parking, and the beach is a 2-min walk away. There is a paid beach with umbrellas etc., and a \"free\" beach 200 m away, if you just want a quick swim.

My Wife and I stayed at the Accademia for two nights in June 2023. The Hotel is lovely, in a great location and the room was wonderful. The best part was the Staff! Antonella was so helpful and friendly, and Barbera was also amazing, but all the Staff were wonderful. You won't go wrong if you stay in this Hotel.

The accommodation was exactly what we needed, clean, well appointed, and walkable to the city centre. There were refreshments available on arrival which was a nice perk when we had been traveling all day. Antonella was exceptional. She gave us all the information we needed to get to the old town, recommendations on where to eat, etc. The parking is secure and convenient. There was a good variety for breakfast.

Amazing stay with a very friendly check-in host who helped us with all our queries. The rooms were carpeted and sparkling clean, and the breakfast spread, which was included in our booking, was delicious and diverse. The hotel is right next to the beach and about a 20 min walk from town. Water pressure was great and the warm towel racks and balcony were big pluses. Spacious sitting areas in the lobby and it was an excellent place in Rimini to relax!

We stayed in 11 different hotels in 11 different places in northern Italy, & this was the best room. The concierge - Antonella - is also the best ... warm, sincere, gracious, lovely. And the hotel breakfast was amazing - huge selection of goodies in a huge room with attentive & friendly staff. It's a short walk from where you can walk down to the Adriatic Sea. It was off-season when we were in Rimini, so the resort area (where this hotel is located) was quiet. There were two restaurants open within walking distance. We drove our rental car into the town of Rimini itself, which is different than the resort area. Rimini is a great stopping off place for a visit to the Republic of San Marino, which I highly recommend. Our stay in Rimini was memorable & pleasant - really nice hotel with wonderful staff, close to seaside, short drive to town of Rimini, & adjacent to San Marino. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic Hotel and scene but if you are driving you might get located to the wrong location with Google Maps we actually drove around for 2 hours before we found a local resident who also took us to the wrong location before we finally were able to reach the hotel and unfortunately late in the night are internet from the United States was not working and we couldn't find the property but when we did it was a pleasure and what a terrific price for such a nice place

Rooms were small but efficient and a wonderful balcony.

The breakfast was noteworthy, in fact my husband video taped it to gloat with our kids back home.

We rented their bikes and had a great time biking around the beach and in the old town.

This hotel deserves a higher start rating!!! 4 star our opinion!

This hotel is a gem considering price and overall comfort. It seems to be mainly a family hotel and is on a quiet street yet only 100 m from the beach. There are shops and restaurants nearby. Our room was reasonably spacious, with modern decor and our room had a double balcony too. Cleanliness is good. A move of room after first night (due to some air conditioning noise) was taken care of very nicely. The front of house staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good. Overall the atmosphere of this hotel is very nice and we would stay again.

We had a good stay here, the staff are really very nice and are happy to provide informations.
The hotel is right next to the beach - a bit far away from the center by foot, but ok by car. They have a big parking lot.
Wifi speed is ok, however internet got disconnected often, it didn't bother us too much.
Room was clean and had air conditioning, breakfast was ok, many desserts to choose from.
They also recommended a restaurant nearby where they have a discount for their guests, we ate there and it was ok.

Faultless stay in a spotless hotel

This small hotel is in a quiet street but very close to shops and restaurants as well as the beach. It's ideally located and is extremely clean. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. There's a seating area inside and out and hot and cold drinks are available all day. Breakfast with home cooked cakes and pastries was fantastic. We had a medical emergency and the reception staff were very efficient and helpful.

Wonderful modern hotel near beach

This hotel has possibly the best staff we've ever encountered! Every staff member was friendly, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, avid treated us like family! We loved staying here! We arrived late morning before normal check-in, and since our room wasn't ready just yet, they offered to store our bags abs invited us to have breakfast and homemade cappuccinos! The breakfast was extensive, gourmet, and delicious! We were in Rimini on a raining day in October, so we toured San Marino, Rimini's historic district and the fisherman's village (where many Fellini films were shot), and walked the deserted beach. We had a wonderful time! The hotel is beautiful with modern rooms, spacious bathrooms, and private balconies. We will stay again the next time in Rimini and recommend this hotel to all staying in the Rimini and San Marino area.

Antonella and the rest of her staff were really kind and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were clean and well presented, as were the dining room and other public areas.
The breakfast was delicious with a wide selection of savoury and sweet foods, and fab coffee. Literally a stones throw from a gorgeous beach and promenade with shops and restaurants, and about a fifteen minute walk from the train station (easy and cheap to catch the bus from the top of the street €1.30 valid for 60 minutes)

We had a four night stay at the Accademia in early June. The hotel is well run and all staff were efficient and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfasts outside on the patio and the ample free parking in the lot directly across from the hotel. The hotel is in an excellent location, just a three minute walk from the beach and there is a small area with many restaurants and shops, just away from the busy part on Rimini.

Nice place for a vacation

Check in was quick and the receptionist was warm and welcoming. She was helpful whenever I had questions. She showed me to my room and the lights were on, room was warm and towels were warmed. It was a cold rainy night, so this was really appreciated. There was a little balcony off my room that over looked a side street. The neighborhood was quiet. About a block away was a bus stop. It was about 2 km to the train station, and one block from the shore. The breakfast buffet was brilliant. There was a wide selection of baked good, as well as cereals, eggs, meat, fruit and yogurt. They also made coffee fresh for people.

We spent two nights and received the best service of our entire stay in Italy. We were greeted by Antonella on our arrival and invited to relax on the patio and enjoy an expresso before check in. This was just a sign of the high level of customer service we received. Aona who worked the desk in the evening was equally as pleasant and provided us with assistance in the evening. The room was small but efficient and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful including a lovely fresh fruit salad. The location of the hotel is just a block to the beach.

Wonderful hospitality!

Exceptional hospitality, great breakfasts, and perfect location (a 2-minute walk from the beach, and easy bus access) make this an ideal hotel for a visit to Rimini. Antonella and Ioana at the reception were wonderful (though the chap at the desk at night is a bit of a grouch). My only real complaint is the room is too small to include a chair on which to sit at the desk (have to sit on the bed to use the desk). But otherwise highly recommend it.

The most wonderful staff

The hotel is close to the beach and a 20 minute walk into the centre of Rimini and is well appointed. The rooms are tastefully furnished, if not a bit small for a fatty like me, and the shower, tv, fridge, excellent.
The most amazing aspect of the hotel are the staff; I have never been treated more courteously, offered more help and been addressed in such a friendly manner - by everyone - not just the exceptional front of house team. Everyone was genuinely warm, considerate and charming - it felt like going home. If only every hotel was like this.
The breakfast was the best I have eaten anywhere in the world, and the food was of a very high quality, fresh and home-made. The staff in the dining room too could not do enough for you - offering to make something special if you couldn't find anything you liked!

Dropped in for a couple of days sunshine at the end of Sep, the hotel staff were friendly, helpful and spoke good English.
The room was fine enough, most seemed to have an individual balcony.
Buffet breakfast ran through until 12 with homemade cakes a highlight.
Local beach 2 mins from the front door, Rimini beach is 30 min walk or a regular bus.

Really nice hotel. It is really well maintained and the staff as amazing. At every point in our stay they were welcoming and friendly. No request was ever too much and even an initial problem with our room not being ready was handled well. As a final bonus, they were more than happy to put on an early breakfast for us due to an early check out meaning we would miss the normal breakfast hours. However, the hotel is a little out of the way from the main part of Rimini, which is about a 15-20 minute walk away so something to bear in mind. There is a beach 30 seconds away though, just up the road, and the local area is a small resort in itself.

Amazing staff, homely hotel.

Staff are amazing, customer service levels are beyond anything I've had before. The rooms are clean, and well equipped and if you pay for the upgrades then even better but I put them down to 4 out of 5 because they were a slightly bit small, shower was amazing though. Maid service brilliant, the lady never got in the way and was quick and efficient, clean towels and all the sizes. Beach towels available everyday as well. Breakfast was fantastic, a great choice and I'm sure if you wanted something else they would try everything in their power to get it. The whole week was fantastic because the location was great as well, close to the fantastic beach, away from the main town so no noise but close enough to excess all the amenities. We had an early flight home and had to leave early before breakfast started but they made up a table of a small breakfast for us before we departed. Brilliant.

My wife and I were in Rimini for 3 nights on our way to Croatia. We loved the Hotel Accademia. It's steps from the beach in the Rivabella section of Rimini, so you're a bicycle ride to the main bustly waterfront touristy area and old town (more on the bikes later). The staff couldn't have been more warm and welcoming. We had a lot of fun working on our Italian vocabulary together! They gave us phenomenal dinner recommendations and helped make our stay a great one. Bikes are free to borrow - so take one and visit the old town and sit on a piazza or see the sights. We also used the bikes to visit the crazier touristy drag and hit some clubs. Closer to home there is a main street along the water full of shops and restaurants where the families walk in the evenings. Overall a great experience.

The Best service you will find - Anywhere!!

I always mean to write a review after a good or bad stay at a hotel, but always seem to put it off, until now! The Hotel Accademia and particularly the staff (Antonella, Oana & Barbara) have just given us our most relaxing and personal holiday ever. As soon as you arrive, which in our case was 3 hrs early, nothing is too much trouble, and all the staff know your name, offering breakfast and drinks whilst our room was being prepared - with a different type of pillow for each of us, chosen beforehand when Antonella emailed to ask if there was anything we would like to make our stay more comfortable, (I began to have a good feeling when that arrived!!) We travelled with our 15 year old son, and found that as opposed to Rimini and their busy roads, Rivabella beach was almost traffic free, and only 50m from the beach, so we were happy he could come and go from the beach to the hotel as he pleased. You will always find someone cleaning or gardening 24 hrs a day here, and the bathrooms are beautiful. If you stay anywhere else in Rivebella you will be disappointed i promise you. i will recommend this to anyone staying in Rimini, and would definitely stay here next time I am in Rimini.

Just perfect

We spent a wonderful and relaxing summer week at the Hotel Accademia. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and attentive so don't bother if you're not familiar with Rimini and its surroundings and what to do, where to eat, etc. - Antonella, Oana, and Barbara will be glad to help you out. The hotel is located in a quiet area in Rivabella, Rimini, but still very close to the beach (less than a minute's walk) and restaurants. Downtown Rimini is reachable within a few minutes with bike, bus, or car or by a 20 minutes walk. We will for sure return to this lovely hotel and can just warmly recommend it to anyone.

Pleasantly surprised!!

We had a great 2 night stay here. The hotel staff was extremely friendly, the room was very clean and the hotel itself was also very nice. Breakfast was splendid, with lots of Italian pastries. The hotel is very close to the beach - less than 100 yards, and it was very quiet as well.One minor issue a very weak wireless internet signal in our room - we had to sit on the balcony to get any signal at all. Overall, we only wish we could have stayed longer!

400 meter walk to the ocean

a delightful choice

We were delighted with our stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable and well-maintained. We enjoyed having the small balcony. All members of the staff were friendly and quite helpful, providing a variety of information concerning Rimini and its surroundings. The breakfast was ample with offerings including fresh fruit, cooked items, and an interesting variety of baked goods. There is a fairly large area reserved for parking of hotel guests, probably an important plus in high season

Perfect hotel within my budget

The staff is just great. They are amazing. Hotel is well located close to beaches in a quiet neighborhood, but close to restaurants. Room was of good size, clean, everything worked. Breakfast was a real breakfast. Absolutely no complaints. The best is the staff. They make you feel welcome and they do what they can to may your stay an enjoyable experience. Definitely the place to stay in Rimini.

Highly Recommended, Top notch service.

I've stayed in hotels all over Italy, and I must say this is by far the nicest over all that I have experienced. Many of the hotels that call themselves 4-star are not what the typical US traveler would expect. They seem to put all their effort into the lobby/ public areas of the hotel, and leave the guest rooms little more than cramped, sparsely furnished and gloomy. Not so at the Accademia.

From the outside it looks very nice. Understated elegant. The lobby is no different. We were cordially greeted and while our documents were being processed we were offered an \"aperitivo\" or refreshments. We were lead by the espresso bar to a dining room that offered finger foods, olives, cheeses, ect. Spumante (Italian champagne) and wine was also offered, all complimentary.

When finished we were escorted to our room by the young lady working the front desk. The room was very nicely appointed, even offering a \"pillow menu\" of about a dozen different selections. The bathroom was large, comfortable and nicely appointed. \"Rain\" shower, bidet, and heated towel rack. The bed room opened to a elevated courtyard with chairs and a koi pond. Also had an attached room with two daybeds, so could have easily slept 4 guests

Inclusive breakfast buffet was very nice and tasty. They even had scrambled eggs and bacon for we Americans.

I was in Rimini for a trade show in January, and the hotel is located less than 10 minute drive from Rimini Fiera.

Full marks for hospitality

I spent two nights at Hotel Accademia and I had a really relaxing time. I arrived late at night, told the taxi driver where I was going and he knew exactly where to go.
The breakfast was ample and there was something for everyone. The staff was exceptionally helpful, nothing was too much to ask. I really felt looked after by staff at Reception and in the dining room; thank you ladies! Eleanor was just amazing. I just mentioned in passing that I liked the pudding I had for breakfast, the 'giallo zafferano'. I came back in the evening to discover that she had taken the trouble to find the recipe on the Internet and had left it with her colleagues to give to me as I was leaving the next day and she was off duty.
The room was very comfortable and clean, with fresh towels and toiletries. The thermostat control worked perfectly adding to the overall comfort of the room. I will definitely stay at Hotel Accademia again if I visit Rimini again.
