The bed was not comfortable and air conditioning was not working as apparently there is some law that in Italy that they can't turn on air conditioning during the winter. We had to open the windows at night and it was too noisy. Breakfast was average also.

Check in was with alesseo who was helpful and professional, and took only a few minutes. He gave us a couple of restaurant recommendations - we tried both during our stay and they were excellent tips. We were very happy with our room which was a good size, I note other comments about some areas being dated but that didn't bother us

Not the best place. Outdated hotel. Staff was very non-responsive. No one picked the phone in the lobby. They wouldn’t fill back breakfast fast enough. Coffee was horrible.

AC didn’t work in the room. Even after so many attempts to get it fixed, AC didn’t work.

The hotel is located in a safe area and a walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants. We stayed in the hotel for one night, and enjoyed our short visit of Naples. It’s a short drive, less than 10 minutes from Naples Airport and close the port for ferries.

Hotel is very basic. Old hotel with wood paneling and needs renovations. Clean rooms though and wood floors, which is a good thing.breakfast basic, but ok. In an area with expensive shops. 10 mnt walk to sea promenade. It’s ok for a quick stopover if you want to be in this area.

Exe is an older hotel but very well maintained. We noticed there were LOTS of concenient light switches and power outlets in the rooms, even automatic window shutters. Very accommodating staff. Easy walking distance to the harbor, shops, restaurants.

This hotel has an excellent location - very close to the harbour as well as the Piazza del Plebiscito. The staff is very cordial and very good. The rooms and bathroom are large. The breakfast also has a good spread.

The hotel is not well maintained. The carpets in hotel are dirty and the bathroom fittings and furniture are old.

The hotel was very outdated. Shower did not drain. The day that i checked out, i needed a taxi to the airport. The receptionist said there is a marathon that morning and i cant get a taxi. I have to walk to the central station with all my luggage and catch a bus. This would have been impossible with two large suitcases and a carryon. I should have been verbally informed during checkin that there would be no taxis during checkout so i could make alternative plans. Luckily i asked the receptionist to please try for a taxi since it was still early in the morning. And luckily it came.

Overall I had a mixed experience. I’ll divide this into good and bad:

Good:
Great location in one of the nicer, upscale parts of Naples. Central to most things.

Bad:
Advertises air conditioning being included which is a necessity for me and my wife as warm sleepers.

However when we got to the room it was EXTREMELY warm. It turned out there is no air conditioning and this is “only available in summer months”. Instead it only blowed out warm air.

As someone who has stayed in several other Italian cities in January/February and used air conditioning when needed, I find this hard to believe.

On the plus side, when we explained the situation they upgraded us to a better, cooler room (still with no air conditioning but it was cool enough).

Very loud. You can hear people dragging furniture above you and a lot of noise from the street. Even with windows shut. You can even hear toilets flush from other rooms.

Disappointing breakfast - with so many good options in the area just get breakfast outside.

No room service.

Location is very close to a lot of shops and restaurants.
However hotel is \"stuck\" in early 80s. Walls are paper thin and you can hear your neighbors in the next room or above you VERY well.
Restaurant is closed except for breakfast, bar is not open and there is no room service. We had a broken toilet that took staff 2 hours to fix.
Room had no hair drier, no iron.
Keep in mind that mini-fridge prices are x3 of what you would normally pay.

Very nice hotel

My staying was overall great, as previous times. There were some issues with bathroom fittings not fully working but they were fixed promptly even though there was a slight inconvenience since we checked in late.

I would also recommend that toiletry products are clearly labelled (ie we were told shampoo was body soap also although the bottle was labelled shampoo only and there was no other product as body wash).

Front desk staff were always helpful. The room was well cleaned. Our TV never worked. We didn't complain as we were out late both nights and we didn't care. We had continuing trouble trying to flush the toilet, sometimes having to press that plunger 10 times before it finally clicked. There should have been more plug-in stations in the room so we could charge our phones.

Very pleasant stay

Very pleasant experience. The staff was great, friendly and efficient. The room was comfortable even the shower was slightly old fashioned but in good working order.
The only drawback for me were the toiletries in particular the body/hair soaps which are quite aggressive to the skin so I would recommend changing them with higher quality and more delicate products. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and I would go again!

The neighborhood was great and the staff accommodating. The bathroom was sub par. Standing in a tub with no anti-slip mat to take a shower is quite dangerous. I slipped both times I took a shower. The toilet flush mechanism at the top moved left and right as you pushed. This property is in a good location for Napoli. However the hotel is extremely outdated. The elevator sounded like it needed servicing. The electricity flickered and went out several times in the room. The WiFi was unreliable. There was mold in the shower and the shower fixtures were calcified and rusty. The comforter was dirty and when I requested a new one they provided a wool blanket - it was hot September. They said they had no other proper comforters. The front desk staff was friendly but there was no bellman or luggage cart to transport bags from the lobby to the room. There was also not a holding area to keep the bags while we parked the car. Unfortunately I would not stay here again.

Loved my Stay at Exe Majestic

I loved Exe Majestic! The location is perfect for visiting Naples and I felt safe walking around at night. This hotel is clean, the staff were friendly and helpful and my stay was perfect. Breakfast was good! I have read reviews that you can hear your neighbors, but this is typical of Italian buildings. It was not a problem for me. The amenities and housekeeping at this hotel is superior to most. Exe Majestic is within easy walking distance of the sea, the port, great restaurants, shopping, the metro, etc. They also have a flat rate with the taxi for the airport which is a very reasonable 26 euros. I loved my stay at this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Stayed a couple of nights to explore Naples. T
Right in the shopping district if that's your thing, and felt very safe.
Reception staff were very friendly and helped us get orientated. About 5 mins walk from the train station and funicular so really easy to get around.
The rooms are fully automated which seems a great idea until something is broken! We only had one working shutter the first night, and as the hotel was full we didn't get the best night's sleep.
They moved us the second night to a slightly smaller room on the 9th floor and the view was amazing so welll worth asking for a higher floor.
There is a well equipped gym and a breakfast room but no other public spaces, bar, lounge etc which is a negative.

The property was in an excellent location for us to explore the historic centre. The staff were extremely helpful. We were lent an adaptor plug as ours would not fit. They also called us a taxi early on the morning of our departure which arrived in approx. 2 minutes. Very good service.

False advertising... no cafe, no bar, no room service and no concierge as advertised. Not safe for persons with mobility challenges... ramps to breakfast area are modified over part of the stair and not anchored, the surface is steep and slippery and there is no handrail. A person with mobility issues and diabetes would have no access to food within a block radius except sweets on Sundays. A two star hotel provides far superior assistance and service in comparison to this four star hotel... although I must say some of the younger front desk staff did try. We had 4 rooms for 4 nights. The rooms seemed ok, but had the handicapped person in our party been alone... I fear she would have been in danger because of lack of advertised services and non existent customer service. And room 107 may have bedbugs... as I sit in the hotel lobby writing this... my sons are covered with red bug bites.

Bed was a little firm, but pillows were great. Breakfast (9 euro) excellent quality and more than just the standard European spread. Lots of food and shopping options all around. Gym had a lot of open space, some free weights, one cable tower and cardio equipment (spin bike, bike, elliptical, and treadmill). Staff service was knowledgeable and very friendly.
