Good base for the D-Day beaches, etc. Room clean and tidy, with a decent bathroom and shower. Breakfast, it was good. Pool is not huge, but did the trick, as we only stayed for one night. I'd probably go to Capfun next door if staying longer, as it looked good too and had more facilities.for the kids.

Expeted a more hotel-like stay, but was like an air-bnb at an apartment.
Oh .. the trash truck comes by early in the a.m. near Building A .. noisy. As were the neighbors, till 3am.

Really nice complex, our apartment was clean and tidy with the beds made. It has everything you needed for a comfortable stay. There was an extra charge for car parking on site, which i think should have been included in the booking. Lovely location, nice little place to have a walk around with a beautiful beach which had amazing sunsets. We had a day trip to Mont Saint Michel and also visited the Omaha beach landings area as well as one of the war cemeteries.

The first apartment we had was not great and was not like the ones had stayed in previously due to potential issues with the drains. However, thanks to Expedia and the reception at the apartments they moved us to another apartment in the same complex which was not only bigger but far nicer and our stay was very much enjoyable from then on. Although its quite far out from other areas, the overall area is really nice with only being 15/20 min drive away from the Normandy museum & memorial, as well as Omaha Beach.

Overall we enjoyed our stay in Normandy. We weren’t blown away by the accommodations for the price however. For instance, there was quite a pile of bird droppings on our porch when we arrived that I cleaned up. Also, our shower door seemed fairly dated and temperamental and there was a strange odor throughout the apartment.

Convenient place to rest during our trips around Normandy. Stayed only two nights, in both cases late night arrivals and very early departure. Haven’t used any of the facility amenities. One thing we didn’t like is that the room pictures were different to what we actually ended up with. Specifically the room set up was different, and it wasn’t as shiny as on the pictures.

They were not expecting us as apparently Hotels.Com use Expedia to do final processing and Expedia had internet problems. No problem, the manager looked at my Hotels.Com confirmation email on my phone and welcomed us. They are doing some refurbs at the moment out of season so not as tidy on site.

This property may be more suited for a family or with a group of kids. For my husband and me on a vacation, were disappointed because it is more like a bare hostel. We would have liked more amenities. The interior grounds were unkempt and looked more like low income housing. However, breakfast was fine, and the employees were very nice and helpful. The location was great, and we survived the stay, so all was fine. For the price it was okay.

Nice property and very nice breakfast. No instructions for late check-in so had to call posted phone number. Fortunately someone answered or wouldnt have been able to drive through the gate to stay. Pool was warm and very nice after a long day of driving. Place is somewhat run down and needs refurbishing. Each room has space heaters, so modern heating is needed. Overall is a nice place to stay.

Please note that use of towels are 8 euro each and must be obtained from the front desk. Check in is from 3 to 7 and they close the gate a few minutes prior to 7. There is convenient parking for 5euro/day and breakfast can be purchased there. Its a standard bread, crepes and coffee with some ham and cheese. We liked our good-sized room-it had a kitchenette, private bath, 3 beds - 1 double in a separate room, 2 single with comfortable mattresses, decent shower and quiet nights. The outdoor pool was a decently warm temperature. Be warned that a cold shower sprays you as you enter the pool area, so dont take your phone or towel thru.

Upgraded camping. You have an apartment with dishes and cookware, and there is a nearby grocery store (but they do close early so plan ahead). Also double-check with the office what time they are closing, and if you are arriving late, they will give you codes to access the property and key to your room.

We went with out kids to honor the fallen. My son is a 82nd Airborne soldier and it was important for him to go see these sights. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We had an issue with the futon that wouldn’t open so they just have us a second room free of charge. Great personality and service!!!

We arrived to be told that we had a studio on the 3rd floor, which was fine and then we were told that we needed to pay 10 euros to park the car ( where was that in the literature ). We walked up the 3 flights of stairs which were dirty and ingrained with dogs mess. The room had no views at all as all you had were 2 skylights. The bathroom smelt of mildew and the bottom of the walls were filthy, the shower door was broken and the shower head covered in scale. The main living area was a good size with a sofa - believe me when I say you would not let your dog sit on it, it was filthy. The kitchen utensils and crockery all had to be sterilised before we could use them. Sad to say that the pictures do not look anything like the real thing or maybe they did 10 years ago. We booked for 2 nights but had to leave after just one. It was a real shame as the area is lovely and full of character with some nice places to walk.

The expience at this hotel was terrible. First, very slow in signing in guest~~~no \"hello\" no greeting. Secondly, no explanation about hours in office~~no one at the office to answer questions. NO TOILET PAPER~~we were told we had to buy toilet paper when told them we had no toilet paper when we checked out. $85 and you have to buy toilet paper !!! We will never stay at one of these properties again nor will we recommend staying here. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH MANAGEMENT PROVIDING GUEST SERVICES.

We really loved our stay here. The staff were very nice, and the accomodation was great. We had a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen and a terrace for 2 adults and 2 children. The kids room even fit the pack-n-play we brought. The town is a lovely fishing village with a beach, restaurants and a grocery store-- all within walking distance. We would definitely recommend this property.

My family (2 adults, 3 children) stay at Les Isles de Sola for 3 nights after a trip to Paris to sightsee and tour the D-Day beaches. The check-in was very easy, and there were no issues. The room was clean and roomy. The apartment we reserved was 2 bedrooms and easily could sleep 5-7 persons with th futon in the living area. The tv was small and very far from the living room couch making it diffucult to see. There were no dressers in the room or ironing board/iron. Need additional sitting in the living area (only one futon that sat 3-4). Do not use the laundry on site, it is 8 EUR for wash/dry, and there is only one washer and one dryer. There is a laundry facility about 4 blocks away that costs about 2 EUR TO WASH/dry. The are a few improvements but overall was a very positive experience and lodging location. I would recommend for other travellers.

This hotel was very disappointing. It was more like a timeshare but it had no perks. We were supposed to have service and internet - but no one cleaned the room and the most they gave for internet was 2 hours per day through a WiFi card. The room was very basic, which was fine. The location was pretty good because it was in between Utah Beach and Omaha Beach. The surrounding area was okay, with a couple of restaurants and a good bakery and pastry shop within walking distance. But I think the part that set us off was that the staff was very unfriendly and they required an inspection of the room at check-out. The inspection was annoying, especially after not receiving any service on the room for 4 days and 3 nights. Overall, we wouldn't recommend this place - but if you are traveling with a pet and your options are limited like ours were, you might not have much choice.

Finding something of a decent size up near Omaha beach isn't always the easiest. This small apartment hotel worked out just fine. It wasn't fancy but was more than adequate with more than enough room. The kitchenette was well stocked and the location was near a super market and a small town with the typical boulangerie, daily street market, etc. I would recommend this to families needing a little extra room during their trip in Normandy.

This is not a true hotel, but a short term furnished apartment complex that happens to let out rooms for as short as one night.

However, the apartments are clean, modern and very comfortable and our family of 5 was very pleased with our stay. The kids enjoyed the pool. Although there are not the usual amenties of a proper hotel, the kitchen was useful, and there is a pay laundrymat on site. No food services on site but many restaurants are a short walk across the marina.

I would stay here again as it provides excellent value for money in a clean safe location. Very short drive to Point du Hoc and Omaha or Utah beaches make it a very convenient location to see the Normandy historical sights.

Upon arrival the room was very small and the trash was not removed so it smelled very bad. This is not a hotel. It is more like an apartment. No services. If you are staying for a long time it is a good idea to stay here, if it is only a week, find a real hotel. Also, not one english channel on the tv and internet was spotty at best.

Wir haben mit 3 Kindern für 2 Nächte übernachtet. Insgesamt in die Jahre gekommene Anlage, darüber hinaus sehr lieblos gestaltet. Die Wohnung selber war nicht in einem sauberen Zustand. Badezimmer ziemlich abgenutzt und unansehnlich.

Der gut beheizte Pool hat unseren Kindern gut gefallen!

Fin och ren pool att svalka sig i. Lägenheten var rymlig och bra men badrummet luktade illa från fukt/ mögel. Rekommenderar att boka lägenhet med balkong ger det lilla extra för kvällen att sitta ute läsa/ äta eller torka badkläder.
Personalen är hjälpsam men behärskar inte engelska.
Parkering på hotellet med grindar mot kostnad. Det är fritt att parkera på gatan utanför, dock smala gator.

Appartement mignon et spacieux. Cependant il n'y a pas d'ascenseur dans les bâtiments (à prendre en compte pour les personnes a mobilité réduite).
La résidence est bien située et proche de la plage. La piscine est à la bonne température mais il y a souvent du monde et c'est impossible de nager (bcp d'enfants et de jeu de ballons). Le personnel de l'accueil était très agréable.

Tilava huoneisto keittiöllä sekä astioilla. Siisti ja puhdas. Uima allasta ei avattu vaikka sitä mainostettiin. Paikka oli lähellä rantaa ja pysäköinti pihalla. Ruokapaikka ja pesula viressä sekä kauppaan kävelymatka.

Excellent accueil, spacieux, propre, à proximité de la plage et du centre ville. Résidence et parking sécurisés par digicode en dehors des heures d'ouverture de l'accueil.
