We have stayed at Sarova Lion Hill multiple times, and it is always a pleasure. The staff is amazing, and the property is beautiful. The food is good, with a nice variety. The rooms are nice - and the view is great. Plus, the location inside the park is great. It always feels like you are close to the action with the game drives.

The room was good and clean and the staff very courteous. My only gripe is with the food which was ordinary at best. My past experience at Sarova Lion Hill was very different with the food being great but I was very disappointed this time.

Virginia at reception was amazing! Beautiful property. Just be aware the property is INSIDE the park. So you will have to pay the park fee ($60 per person and $15 for vehicle) to get to the property, so plan accordingly.

The staff! They made our stay at Sarova memorable. If we had another honeymoon, we would spend it here. Lots of credit to everyone that made it special. From the reception to the restaurant to the sauna, the spa, the pool, and the room services. We extremely enjoyed our stay. We will be back soon.

Pure excellence from arrival to departure. Genuinely friendly staff, great facilities, calm and quiet, great food. Can't find anything negative to say. My best experience in Kenya so far, haven't seen anything quite alike. Will be happy to stay again.

Property was beautiful and staff were great. There was a lot of noise from staff and guests outside our room. Almost felt like there was no privacy. The buffet at the lodge was not upto 4 star standards. Food tasted bland and old.

Staff was very nice and friendly, but facility was very inconvenient and run down. Everything was very ld and the bathrooms were poorly appointed. The shower was terrible. the food was good, but restaurant was very crowded and noisy. it as very hard to relax, the ambience was poor. Inspite of the congenital staff, I would not return.

The friendliness & helpfulness of the staff, the cleanliness, the facilities, everything was almost beyond our expectations. Chalets were on a hill and at 70 we found it tiring to walk up to ours after our meals, but had we a lower one, we wouldn't have had the wonderful view.

El hotel está muy bien. La situación es muy buena. El problema son las habitaciones. Resulta que se conectan por una puerta interior, y no filtra los sonidos. A nosotros nos despertaron a las 5: 15 de la mañana, los huéspedes de la otra habitación y simplemente estaban hablando. Parecía que estaban en nuestra habitación

Fantastic location. We'll laid out resort with everything you can want in one place. Right in the game park creating a sense of being a part of the entire experience. Loads of birds and animals easily spotted from the safety of the vehicle.

Sarova lion is an excellent lodge. The food is outstanding, the staff goes above and beyond to make sure customers are happy. The location is great and you get to see so many animals just outside the gates. Highly recommend this place despite the high cost!

The staff is very friendly. The manager lives on site and has a very handon approach. Every monrning she asked how pur stay was and if we needed anything.
My 3 complaints were that they do not serve you water with meals. You have to purchase water for your meals even though you had full board.
My second complaint is the picnic boxes they packed were terrible. They literally had a piece of chicken, a banana, and an orange. The rest were juices. I think they need to improve on this.
3rd complaint was some of the furniture in the room was pretty worn out and needs to be replaced.
Otherwise, i would come back. Its a beautiful serene hotel.

The property is located within Lake Nakuru N.P. The level of service provided by the staff was excellent.
We had one GF diner in our party, and when the kitchen staff learned about her they went the extra mile to take care of her.
The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, and quiet. The compound itself is beautiful, looking like something out of a movie. It also has excellent WiFi throughout the grounds.

My thanks to all at the hotel for a wonderful getaway. Very attentive service across the board from the hotel to the restaurant to the bar, without missing a beat. Good Covid19 controls in place across the hotel, and never had a worry the whole trip. Looking forward to coming back again.

Fantastic stay!

The lodge is posh and well-managed. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. You can't beat the location, being in a national park, and the access to game drives is wonderful. My visit was a brief break from a business trip, and I thoroughly enjoyed the stay. One note, the accommodation price does not include entrance in to the national park. I was aware of this, but noted that a fellow guest was quite surprised that there was a separate entrance fee to enter the park and proceed on to the lodge. Overall, a fantastic experience, and highly recommend.

Lovely lodge in a really good national park

Very warm and welcoming staff. Very decent food (we were on full board), a lovely setting. Firepit at night was lovely. Pool was good though a bit chilly due to the altitude / time of year (start of rains)

Lake Nakuru National Park greatly exceeded our expectations. We saw a lot of game and birds (especially on the edge of the lake to the left of the lodge - much less if you go right out of the lodge) We saw lots of zebra and buffalo, water buck, white rhinos (many) black rhino, Male Lions, crested cranes, dik dik, tortoises, jackals, eland, impala, thomson's gazelle, giraffe (Rothschilds) and bee eaters, lilac breasted rollers and many other birds. There are a small number of Flamingos left (a few thousand) but most have moved on to other rift valley lakes,

Safari at Nakuru Lake National Park

We spent 2 nights at this lodge within the Nakuru Lake National Park. We were delighted by the service, the great food, the lush environment of the lodge and of course the proximity to the parks and animals. The only minor point is that we found this lodge a little bit pricey compared to other comparable lodges situated in other parks (like Amboseli). But in any case we keep a very good souvenir of our stay there.

Lion Hill Lodge was amazing. We had a group of 10 in our party.
we were only there for one night and are already planning another say there possibly next year for a few nights.
This hotel is wonderful! The staff are so friendly and accommodating!
The food - Amazing!

Fantastic lodge at Lake Nakuru

Of the 4 properties we stayed out during our visit to Kenya, this one was by far the best! Excellent food, service, and extremely friendly staff. The grounds are beautiful, the pool area is large and clean. Would highly recommend this facility to anyone.

Nice hotel/lodge inside the National Park

A very well located hotel (rather than a game lodge) inside Nakuru National Park. Park fees hike up the price of staying inside Nakuru, but you wouldn't want to stay outside. We took our own car and set off early for a very enjoyable safari drive (plenty to see and good access despite the rise in the water level). The hotel has nice grounds, a good secluded swimming pool, the room (standard) was small but very clean and comfortable and with a nice porch area with chairs and table. It was plenty quiet enough, I expect rooms further up the hill are even quieter. The food was excellent: a buffet with wide choice, kept open when we were late, and the food area was always fresh and clean (unlike some buffet hotels we've stayed in). Helpful, friendly staff. We'd stay here again.
