Excellent privacy afforded by individual separated cabins. The cabins are well appointed and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. It was just a short drive to restaurants, shopping and beaches. Office staff were a pleasure to deal with. Priced a little on the high side but worth it.

We stayed there for two nights. It was a great experience. We have been here last year and had to come back again this year. And the one we got this year is very kids friendly, close to the pool, lots of kids books in the room, and with a bunk bed! We love it!

Cottage was spacious, clean, quiet and very well provisioned. It was like a second home for us. It was close to the beach and Provincial Park yet far enough away to feel very private. Area was flat and safe for grandchildren and their biking. Patio/deck was generous in size and suitable for dining or play. Would definitely book Oceanside again!

House was great had everything we needed, and awesome BBQ. But 2 of 3 beds were horrible and very uncomfortable. One bed had a boxspring on top and the sofa bed was caving in. Very uncomfortable and caused lack of sleep and moods for 3 of 5 guests. When mentioned to onsite staff their only comment was oh well some of the cottages are like that... They didn't care.

This was an excellent place to stay. They allowed me to have my dog with me. The cottage was exceptional and more than adequate. Everything was provided, all I needed was to bring my own food. I would definitely recommend the property to friends and family. I can't think of a better place to stay in Parksville, this was my 1st time at this property and it was the best, I've been going for over 5yrs and I'll not stay anywhere else from now on. It's convenient Ly located to everything.

Loved the cottage. It wss the perfect size for our needs. (2 families - 2 adults, 3 kids, and we could easily have brought the husbands.) Our set up was 1 king bedroom, twins in the loft, and double pull out couch. The loft was great as it gave some separation when we wanted it. Couls srnd ygd kids up there as they could have their own bathroom, tv & area to play.
Close to many activities so there was always something to do.
The pool was refreshing - and bonus indoor.
While we didn't bring our dog this time, they are pet friendly.
Highly recommend this resort. We'll be back.

We love this resort but our unit was badly in need of repairs to the fridge, dishwasher, barbecue. Phone didn’t work, internet didn’t work until I fixed it. The owners of unit 207 have neglected their property. But it’s in a great location and the staff are very nice.

Clean, comfortable and with great amenities both at the house and nearby. I wish the closest restaurant “Tasty Cafe” served dinner as well and not just lunch. It was delicious, but the hours are awkward (10am-3pm). Overall, the property was a great place. I would stay there again! Each house is independently owned with the resort acting as a property management company, so each house is likely a little different inside. We stayed in 171.

We really enjoyed our stay. Location is central and easy to access to beach, restaurants, mini golf and groceries. Cottage was well stocked and clean. Staffs were friendly and responsive. They replaced the broken kettle in a timely manner and informed us by phone when the cottage was ready for check in prior to the regular check-in time. The only thing I wish to change is a better sofa bed. I have already recommended this place to my colleagues.

this particular unit was lovely and roomy. Be careful to specify the number of bedrooms that you need because I stayed at this location twice on the same trip (at the start and at the finish) with the same number of people but was not given a cabin that was as nice the other time.

It was clean enough and nice inside but it was rented for six of us...sleeps 6 yet there is only enough seating room in the living room for 3-4. Needs another comfy chair. The kitchen was poorly stocked. No wine glasses, no baking sheet, no measuring cups, not much room in the fridge as the door trays were missing. The sofa bed upstairs had a big dip in it and was not comfortable. And being rented for 6 there was only 2 breach/hot tub towels. The deck was nice though. We like this resort but would not rent this unit again.

The staff at the Oceanside Village Resort were super friendly and helpful giving great suggestions for nearby restaurants. They contacted me to let me know the property was actually available earlier than expected should I wish to check in early.

This is the second year we have stayed at the cottages. We loved our stay in a 2 bedroom 2 bath, We had everything we needed to prepare our own meals and relax. The Rathtrevor beach is just a short drive away and has great walking paths, covered eating areas and plenty of beach to search for shells. We will be back again next year!

I highly recommend this resort. The cabin was very comfortable with privacy on the back deck completed with all the amenities. Bike trail to Coombs was an easy access and nice ride. Most of the trail was gravel. Close proximity to Rathtrevor Beach. The resort was quiet and very quaint. I would go back for sure!!!

Love it! Odd rules.

Great cottage. I was in 216, tucked away in between other cottages. The location is a little crammed for space but overall the cottage was nice and well laid out. A few odd rules with the threat of “being charged if you don’t...” example, take all sheets and put them in the bathroom downstairs, wash and put away all dishes, etc.

Brought the grandchildren who had a good time. Would have preferred twin beds in loft rather than a pullout sofa, as we needed 5 beds. Even though there were 2 bedrooms, we needed the pullout sofa in the living as well as the loft, which was a bit of an inconvience.

Perfect getaway

I recently stayed in one of the cottages with a few friends and had an absolute great time. The cottage was extremely well set up and furnished really well, it had everything we needed for a fun weekend. The resorts mini golf course was also a nice touch and surprisingly really well made for a hotel mini golf course. The staff were great, super nice and helpful and the overall experience was top notch. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Excellent option to stay in the parksville area. This location is great and all the comforts of home and more. Quick walk to the beach or resturants. All houses have a patio do uou can bbq or sit in the sun/shade. Quiet and comfortable. Stay overall we will return.

Wonderfully comfortable - like home!

We had a great stay at Oceanside Villas.
It was a very comfortable condo that truly felt like home. Kitchenette was well stocked , it had a full fridge and stove , excellent gas BBQ on the sweet back patio deck ( with chairs and table and umbrella ) very clean and lots of space with the bedroom and loft.
We travelled with our 6 month old and had no trouble getting her down in the adjoining bedroom whilst still socializing in the main area plus everyone was able to relax before bed with their own TV as we had 3!
Only downside , it gets hot without AC so open windows and get those fans blowing. Also , beach at Rathtrevor Park is quite a distance from condo so it's not really Oceanside but the heated indoor pool is easily accessible and excellent( we found that easier with our 6 month old anyways ) and the Riptide Lagoon mini golf next door was fun.

Overall , wonderful value for all that you get -we would stay again!

The cottage was very spacious, fully equipped, and appeared to have recent updates. Great kitchen, comfortable bed, and very quiet. There was a patio and grill in back. This was great for a couples' stay, but could easily accommodate larger families or groups.

The price seemed high and it was off season. However, it was comfortably decorated and equipped. The beds were comfortable. Too much furniture in the main level bedrooms reduces you ability to move around, especially for a larger person. The loft had the most space.

An ideally situated cottage that close to amenities such as an indoor pool, a bistro, mini golf and Rathtravor beach. The cottage was large, fully equipped, and we loves the 10pm to 8am quiet hours. We were close to all that we wanted to visit - the park downtown, Tiger Lilly farm and other hot spots.

A True Little Shanghrila-la

Both 2 days exceeded our expectations as we had never stayed at the Oceanside Resort before this visit.
From the start of our trip of enjoying a dinner on the deck,relaxing afterwards in the cozy living room with fireplace to relaxing again enjoying a night cap after a great day of golf and a banquet ,we could not have asked for more. the spring breezes at night made for perfect sleeping accommodations .
Our hosts certainly made our holiday one to look forward to returning again as a girls' get-away shopping trip in Parksville and Qualicum to enjoy the pool at Oceanside and the Spa too.

We had a great few days here. Beyond all the comfortable amenities available in the cottage, we most loved the peace and quiet. Almost no sounds from the outside world can be heard at night. We also came stocked with plenty of food, and the full kitchen let us cook like we would at home- there was even a blender!

My daughter and I loved staying here. The cottage was so cute. Plenty of room and very very clean. Beds were so comfortable with blackout drapes, kitchen was stocked with everything you needed. Had a little patio out the front and deck out the back. Was very quiet at night. We would have loved to stay longer and would definetely stay there again. Thoroughly recommend it.

Super comfortable cottages by the sea.

My wife and I, enjoyed a charming two bedroom cottage with our daughter, future son in law and small cocker spaniel. The resort is super dog friendly. We walked to the beach every day to enjoy the fresh air and clean environment.
The front office staff were very hospitable and obliging on our arrival. The cottage decor was warm and comfortable, the house keeping provided us with a very clean place to greet us.
The cottage was well equipped with the comforts of home including internet, a beautiful flat screen TV,a deluxe BBQ and outside heater. We enjoyed sitting outside in the evening gazing at the stars, in such a quiet and peaceful environment.
