The riad is located in the middle of the medina, a few minutes from the historical monuments and different services (the beach, souks, port, banks, post office and bus station). Marrakech-Menara Airport is situated at a distance of approximately 170 km.
With its luminous architecture, the riad is the ideal place for a holiday and relaxation. This guest house is an old riad from the 18th century entirely restored in 2009 in pure traditional architecture typical of Morocco.
It is arranged and decorated with sobriety and elegance for a cordial and family-friendly atmosphere. Comprising a total of 10 guest rooms, the property features a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service, currency exchange facilities, a breakfast/dining room, WLAN Internet access and bicycle hire.

The Riad was ok. You pay what you get for. Staff was very nice and the location was fine. The parking was 15 mns away so with bags it is not ideal. Very noisy because of work taking place next door. Late at night and early morning. I recommend the toad but I won’t go back .

Hotel well located to explore Essaouira. Rooms are a bit dated but ok for the price paid. The neighbourhood of the hotel feels safe. Breakfast is delicious and served by a friendly and welcoming lady.
The hotel receptionist does ask what exact time you plan to come back at night when you leave in the evening.. As we were going out and did not care for a curfew, we made it clear that we can not give an exact timing, luckily he did wait for us to come back.. Overall experience was good for a short stay.

This is a mid-range riad in the Medina. Staff super-friendly. Decor could do with a wash and brush-up. Bed comfortable. Room freezing - end-November. Hot water but basic shower head. Towels grubby but changed every day. Breakfast, as ever, a bit samey. Overall, it’s ok for the money, but I could have chosen better for my first visit. Would re-visit Essaouira but would stay somewhere else.

Generally a good option. The only problem was my reservation said \"free breakfast\" and their data said breakfast was not included. The explanation was the website searcher always says \"free breakfast\". The solution the boss was giving me was to complain to the searcher! After one hour of having me without having eaten at 10 a.m., he did not understand that if searchers give confusing information, the riad should contact them to avoid similar situations in the future. It was not until the second night that I was offered the breakfast. So clarifying this point saves time and problems!

Based on my riad experiences in Marrakech, I was a bit let down by the Riad Etoile d'Essaouira. The check in area was a bit rushed and they tried to charge me much more than my rate. They also wouldn't allow me to pay with credit card or US dollars which was frustrating because I was on my second to last day and didn't have much cash left in dirhams. The area was fine, it's in the middle of the main shopping area and was fairly quiet at night. The view from the rooftop was rather nice and the breakfast was good. Overall, I think a three star rating is accurate.

We spent two nights in this Riad that we booked at the last minute and that was the cheapest option we found. We were surprised to find a very nice and clean Riad in the Medina of Essaouira. The rich breakfast was included and the wi-fi worked perfectly in the room. Just the size of the rooms is quite small. Not a big deal for us

Overall very good hotel, a little over cost, needs better directions since no street signs and no one understood street names when said in English. Asked for TV remote control twice, never given, but never used TV so no big deal. Centrally located with fairly nice terrace. Staff quite friendly.

Nice ryad, very conveniently located in the heart of medina, within walking distance to most attractions. The ryad is congested, the small bed in the Atique was of no use because of the poor quality bed and mattress.

Lovely Riad
Riad was fantastic. Is lovely, calm, and quiet, yet close to the sights and action of Marrakech. Aziz is very friendly and helpful, and the room and rooftop terrace were perfect.
My only qualm with the Riad is that it is very difficult to find. Definitely take Aziz up on his offer to pick you up at the airport, as I'm not sure how one would find it without already knowing where it is. I'm still not sure how we managed to find our way back each night, but we did!

bzl. der Bewertung des Hotels habe ich folgendes zu sagen :
es wäre fair - für meine Altersklasse darauf hinzuweisen, dass es in diesem Hotel keine Heizung gibt,
und damit die Zimmer dem Wetter entsprechend eiskalt sind.
Ferner ist mir folgendes passiert,
ich habe zwei Ringe, welche ich in der Regel wenn ich das Haus oder Hotel verlasse anziehe
und diese nach Rückkehr wieder ablege. Immer am selben Platz . Hier im Hotel auf eine Ablage
im Badezimmer .
Als ich für einen kurzen Spaziergang das Hotel verliess, vor den beiden Ringen stand,
entschloss ich mich sie nicht anzuziehen und teilte beim Verlassen des Hotels den Cleaningladies mit,
dass sie nun mein Zimmer cleanen können.
Nach meiner Rückkehr stellte ich mit Entsetzen fest, dass mein Goldring, ein Geschenk meines Grossvaters von vor 55 Jahren, nicht mehr da war .
Informierte umgehend ,mit Tränen in den Augen , die Hotelleitung darüber ...- welche ausser Kopfschütteln, und dass die Cleaningladies ehrlich sind nichts weiteres von sich gab.
...ich schrieb ihnen dies ...erhielt jedoch bis dato keinen Bescheid ??
Fakt ist, dass beide Ringe vor mir lagen und ich mich entschied sie nicht anzuziehen.
Während meiner kurzen Abwesenheit wurde mein Zimmer gereinigt und als ich zurück kam
fehlte einer meiner Ringe.

le riad est bien situé malheureusement l'accueil du personnel a été un peu décevant. Peut être étaient-ils un peu stressés? C'est dommage. A noter aussi malheureusement l'odeur dans la rue même si j'ai bien conscience que le personnel du riad n'y est pour rien . C'était très désagréable .

Séjour d'un jour dans un riadh situé au cœur de la Médina dans une zone très animée. Néanmoins, la chambre était très bien insonorisée, ce qui nous a permis de passer une nuit tranquille. Cependant la literie gagnerait à être améliorée. L’accueil était courtois et sympathique. Le petit-déjeuner copieux et le personnel aux petits soins. Ridh à recommander.

Riad´en ligger midt inde i medinaen, hvilket betyder, at man er tæt på det hele, men det er også meget overvældende. Personalet er venligt og hjælpsomt. Der er dét, der skal være, men heller ikke mere. Wifi på det værelse, jeg var på, var ikke idéelt, bedst på fællesområdet på etagen.

Riad molto carino e in ottima posizione per visitare la città. La colazione è servita in una bella terrazza, e personale gentile. L'unica pecca era la nostra stanza, non tanto piccola ma molto molto buia poichè aveva solo una finestra che dava sul cortile interno e l'illuminazione elettrica era scarsa, ma le altre stanze ho visto che erano più luminose.

Le ménage est fait moyennement. Chambre du troisième étage du riad avec fenêtre haute donc pas de vue mais une terrasse juste à coté ou est servi le petit déjeuner avec un vrais jus d'orange une viennoiserie pain confiture beurre thé ou café. Très correct. Point négatif la description sur hôtel. com qui est erronée. Pas de produits de toilette de luxe, pas de pantoufles. De plus pas de TV qui fonctionne correctement. Dans l'ensemble acceptable pour le prix
