We didn’t know much about the resort but absolutely loved it. Our room overlooked the Gulf of Mexico, and we could see dolphins from the balcony. It was a quick walk to the beach and easy to rent an umbrella and chairs. We also loved the pools, hot tub, and seeing the manatees. Great service from the staff, also. Hope to return in the future.

Our site was wonderful. It overlooked the Bay, where the boats were a delight to look at each morning, while sitting on our balcony. The resort is unique - charming, relaxing, casual, with a quiet elegance, and no crowds!! We’ve traveled a lot, and this was one of the best ever. Simply marvelous!

Tween Waters is a relaxing resort. Our room was very clean. Everything was very close to our room - pool, coffee, front desk, restaurants. We rented a golf cart to get places quickly and try out other restaurants in the area. The beach was open and covered in shells. We'll be back!

Very nice hotel with unique access to both the bay and the gulf. We brought our dog which greatly hampers or eliminates the ability to experience the activities of the resort, especially including the restaurants. It’s odd that we pay a premium to bring our dog only to be limited from experiences that people who do not pay the premium are able to experience, but it was our choice to do so.

As we passed very good weekend with friends and family, and honestly my suite was great, I need to say that the hotel walk streets are very dark at night, they have no street lights. Not even inside the garden. Not many places to eat at night and they close very early. Overall was good.

Had a comfortable stay at the Seagrape building, there were lots of activities included in the price of our stay like pickleball, canoe, bicycle riding, and weight room which was cool. The staff were really helpful and nice. The room was in good shape and clean with a beautiful view of the beach, however, would have been better if they had a screened in porch as the mosquitos and no see em’s will get ya pretty bad if you’re out there trying to enjoy the sunset. Prices for pizza were ridiculous for small personal 10 inch pies over $20 a piece in most cases, they were good, but not worth $42 for two tiny pies. Other than that, pool and hot tubs were enjoyable and we had a good experience.

Property is a bit outdated but surrounding areas were well kept. Our King size bed was not as comfortable as we thought and the pillows were somewhat old. The room was overall clean and we had a great view of the beach.

Very old and tired. Paying a resort fee is outrageous when there’s nasty weather. No bottled water and only powdered creamer. There were a few bugs near our shower. Very disappointing since we paid quite a bit.

The hotel is extremely average. I put it at 2 to 3 star. It has across the road from the beach and on the intercoastal, which is the only thing basically has going for it other than that it wouldn’t survive say in Orlando or any major city cause I feel like it’s a glorified sleep away camp that they turned into a hotel

Nice property, but rooms are dated, 3 star rating but paying 4-5 star prices. AC broke, we were offered another room but no help or golf cart to help move us at 10 PM to a different building.

Hidden fees not disclosed at reservation
I was disappointed to discover many hidden fees after I paid and reserved. It was not disclosed during reservation. $38 fees for amity, $25 each for umbrella and chair on the beach. The room we stayed in the kitchen sink wood popped open and could not be fix when opened the garbage door. The beds are poor quality springs only. Paid premium price but it was not delivered with quality as advertised.

Tween Waters was amazing!!! Our Studio King room with Ocean View in the Sea Grape was beautiful and completely updated!! We could see the most beautiful sunsets right from our private balcony!! The pool area was wonderful and the food and drinks were delicious!! We found the most beautiful shells on the beach! We can’t wait to come back!! Definitely 10/10!!

Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The beach was within walking distance and the pool was large. Pool drinks were excellent. Did not eat on property but there were ton of options. We primarily brought our own food and cooked our meals so the kitchen was great.

Property is older than pictures show so there are some issues (patio door didn’t lock, some screens weren’t great, took a while for water to get hot, etc) but a nice place. Staff was great; maintenance was always cleaning the grounds, everyone’s friendly, etc. Free bikes and kayaks as often as you like, good restaurants.

Tween Waters is a one stop shop for everything you need when going to the beach for a getaway. We had winderful restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff were great and took wonderful care of us. The beach was 20 steps from our room and the pool was a refreashing treat afterwards.

The food was 5 star and the bartenders, Brian & Issy got 5 stars also. They still have work to do to recover from the past storms so there are some things that still need attention.

Simply Paradise. Loved the easy stroll to the gorgeous beach. Great view of the Gulf from our balcony. Small kitchenette was great way to save on breakfast and lunch. Our best meal of the week was at the Old Captiva House - mere steps from our room. Took a complimentary kayak paddle and saw a mother manatee basking peacefully at the water’s surface. Our AC unit developed a leak that was promptly addressed by management. To sum up, Tween Waters is a quaint property with lots of amenities located in an idyllic setting. Looking forward to returning.

I enjoyed my stay at Tween Waters. However, I was disappointed in my room. The bathroom really needs a major renovation. When turning on the shower, it felt like the fixture was going to come out of the wall. Additionlly, the towels are paper thin. The room itself needs an upgrade as well.

We had never been to the islands and did not know what to expect. The beach is impeccable. From your balcony you either look at the golf or the ocean. The resort is staffed by very polite and nice people. There are kayaks and bicycles provided for two hours at a time. The pools are well-maintained. The noise level is supposed to be low in the serenity pool and if parents respected that it would be. There is pickle ball and an above average exercise room compared to other hotels. There are good coffee selections on the resort. We did not eat at the restaurants, but there are plenty of Restaurants Within a short drive. An absolutely beautiful romantic vacation. Sunsets and sunrises every day. We will be back!

We went for Beer in the Bushes SCCF event so only stayed one day, but room was very clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. Pools were lovely with adult Serenity pool option. Lunch at pool bar delicious. Sunday morning Starbucks coffee at resort!
