Not what I was expecting. Very disappointed.

There were bugs in the room. There is no iron or ironing board in the room and the ironing board they brought in did not have a cover. The floors were separating and everything was run down and did not look like the photos. Left the hotel right after seeing the room and was able to find somewhere else to stay.

The team was helpul. The acted upon the complaints. The tolet lid was broken. The room was not cleaned. We still could see the hairclip from previous occupent. The quilt looked run down completely to the ectent that we got itchiness once we got into the bed. The team stated pumping water into the tank at 2 am in the moning creating noise that we could not sleep. On complaining they switched it off. So overall not a pleasent stay.

I am disappointed since the pictures when i booked the room were telling a different story from what we experienced. There was cockroach in the room as well as in the bathroom that i reported to the hotel staff to which they replied, it will be cleaned in the morning and i had to leave in the morning. No microwave in the room, i guess it is because they don't allow outside food in premises. There was quite disturbance during midnight when we were struggling to sleep, i guess staff was chit chatting in the corridor where our room was and they can be heard easily from inside the room also bathroom door was making a sound when open or close which was not good when you use it during the night when others were sleeping. Room has a smell of moisture, there were mosquitos in the room. Cleanness is the main issue. Honestly, it is not worth the money i paid.

It was nice to have the security man to get us tuk tuks and to negotiate the price for us. All of the people there were very nice. The cook even remembered how I like my eggs after the first day.

One of the worst hotels I have been in. So dirty, everything is malfunctioning, noisy fridge, noisy AC, dropping water noise from the toilet 24/7. Insanely poor food and bad hygiene in the breakfast.

The room wasn’t the cleanest but we didn’t expect much from the price. The showers drain look like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. It was full of hair and gunk which caused it to flood up to the top of your feet when used.
the thing that got me though was when my friend needed an emergency er visit in the early morning they told us before I took her we needed to pack our stuff and get it out of the room if we were gonna be back after check out time. Mind you this was an EMERGENCY.. the staff was so inconsiderate

Modest hotel, nice little amenities

The hotel is located in a relatively quiet area. The staff were helpful and nice. Nice, large bathroom, so that's good. Had a refrigerator, offered a free bottle of mineral water and gave us slippers. For the price, these are very nice amenities in this area. HOWEVER, I had a lot of trouble with the wifi.

The staff were lovely and very friendly. But the first room I had was damp and dirty, and stunk not what I would expect for the price I was paying in Delhi. They changed me to better room which was nice enough. Staff nice but overall don't think great value for money

Not even a 3 star hotel!

This is not a 4 Star hotel - beware! Emblem Hotel must have been a nice property many moons ago but is completely neglected. See images.
Bed staff, towels are grey and stained. The walls and floors are dirty with dust streaks and grime. We could not take showers as it was a smaller sacrifice than facing the filth in the bathroom. The hot water run brown. A water leak from the BD filled the floor with a large paddle and we had to mop with a towel before using the stained toilet. Some lighting fixtures hung inclined on one screw. The rooms are dark as many lamps don't work. Walls are dirty with streaks of shoes etc. The curtain did not roll up with the string and hotel staff showed us how to hang it into the defective string. One night, the complete curtain fell on the floor because the Velcro gave away.
Most guests left their doors open and had loud chats with their frequent visitors. The constant street noise was always present. The loud noise and chatting from the kitchen stopped only after we complained at midnight. The garbage smell from the kitchen reeked into the room when the window was opened.

The mattresses is a hard box spring with a 1\" thin layer from material close to black Scotch Brite barbecue cleaning pads (bound coconut husk?) It felt like sleeping on card board over ceramic cups. We had to sleep on our blankets and cover with towels and clothes. Woke up with back ache.

Staff was friendly but not capable of solving any issue.

The pictures online did not reflect what the room looked like. The pictures made it look larger than it was. The room we reserved said it could fit up to 5 people. There is no way that is possible. The room was also not very clean. I have traveled extensively through Asia so it was not the worst room I have stayed in but it definitely wasn't very clean. The wifi was also not reliable. This is a necessity for us. I will not stay here again.

Not worth the money.

Fake photos on hotel website. Hotel is not as great as announced. Definitely not a 3.5 star hotel as claimed. Many rooms are old. Bathroom accessories are broken. Room is definitely smaller for the price. Fine for one/two nights.

It's not worth what they are charging for a nite, stayed there 2 nights, no hot water, bedding was dirty, bed was noisy.couldnt open windows, because flats were just opposite side. It was like a cage. Staff was good. Quick services.
Won't stay again rather pay more and stay in 5 star.

It is a good hotel. The staff are very coordial and polite. The food was very nice. wifi got very good speed. If they improve the cleaness of the toilets ,it will be highlt comfortable to stay over here. Overall for 1 or 2 day stay it is a good hotel.

Good for business travelers!

They charge (RS 550) for railway station pickup, which is listed as free on the booking page! The hotel is situated in the heart of the city, very near to Nizamuddin station, so it is very convenient to travel to different places. No metro station nearby however! The rooms are good the the beds are comfy, the bedding was a little dirty. The room condition is good and clean, but the bathroom had an old Jacuzzi kind of tub which was rusting at the water outlets! The towels provided were quite old and had some kind of smell as if not cleaned properly. The food was alright and the staff was good. They have a very efficient office desk; they can arrange local conveyance very easily, however their charge is quite high!

if you are in a business trip, this will be a wrong selection. The bathroom is not clean. water boiler and even the cups are dirty. internet is the worst. opening an email took more than 15 minutes. I had to spend most of my time just to send the emails. I asked to the front desk to make the internet smooth. but no response. the most surprising was.... front desk andrestaurant is in combined. checking in and out guests can see you eating....too uncomfortable!! security is the only good side I found in this hotel.

Rooms were not spacious. Not worth the money. You can find better places by putting in little bit more money. Also, the rooms we book through online and if we book there itself by directly calling them are different. Don't know why they have this discrimination among room selection.

Overbearing staff hotel

If you enjoy having 4 people hanging over you as you eat in their restaurant, 6 people saying goodbye at the car when leaving each morning it would be OK, but I don't. The only reason they swapped me was for tips - so here's my tip, leave me alone to enjoy my holiday and I will give a tip. Outside of the hotel was disgusting and smelly. 2 hour drive from the airport not the advertised time.

Friendliness of everyone in the hotel. As I was approaching the hotel, I asked for directions. When we reached the hotel, one staff member was waiting to receive me. This good feeling continued thereafter. They gave a good buffet breakfast, with a personal touch. If the location of this hotel is suitable to you, it is an excellent choice.

Trying hard, but falling short.

They've tried hard to make this a stylish, boutique hotel, but it falls short of the mark. Too many broken tiles and dirt around shower to call itself a 4 star hotel!! Really not impressed by seeing a large rat in the restaurant area!

everything seems good with respect to the price considering the location of the hotel, but yes food needs to be improved a lot. In delhi how can people go wrong in making butter chicken and paratha. this was very sad. otherwise if you looking for a decent stay just for business it can be considered

Good Delhi Option.

Although we just stayed one night, we found this hotel to be very comfortable and clean. The room wasn't fancy, but the bed was comfy with nice linens and the room had a super-charged AC. Free wireless was a big bonus, and the included breakfast was really good (good mix of Western & Indian options). Hotel was a 5-min pedi-cab ride to New Friend's Colony.
