We just had a short stop-over on a road trip and the room was nice, clean and comfortable. The kitchenette is basic but clean and has all of the necessities. For the price, it was much nicer than we expected. The bathroom was roomy and it had a great shower. It's located near the best area for shopping and charming streets and places to eat. There is a small outside area with tables and grass, as well.
The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. If we needed to stay in Agen again, we would stay here.

I stayed here for 6 nights for a conference in July 2025 and found it clean, comfortable, quiet and very reasonably priced. I liked the option of making breakfast for myself or preparing a simple meal (the kitchenette is pretty basic but has a fridge, microwave, hot plates, a coffee machine (attention, you can't buy the pods in the supermarket but they sell them in the lobby) and basic equipment - no bowls for cereal though, I imagine had I asked I could have borrowed some from the breakfast room). There is a 13€90 breakfast option which I didn't have but nice to have the option. I appreciated the water fountain in the lobby on hot days. Reception was always very pleasant and helpful. I'll hopefully be back another time!

Great little surprise

Surprisingly great for an aparthotel. Nice touches in the room of water and biscuits and a warm and informative reception. Access codes were emailed and texted in addition to the paper information given on arrival. Nicely located in the centre of Agen with restaurants within walking distance plus secure parking in site. Clean, spacious and secure. I’d recommend definitely.

Appart'city really impressed me.
It's just off a main shopping street that is directly opposite as you step out of the station. A nice stroll, window shopping.
Restaurants, little squares, market, Carrafour etc if you turn left out of the main door. Parking if you have a car, though I didn't so don't know how easy it is to access.
Staff very pleasant and helpful.
More than a hotel room. You could almost live there. The kitchen area even has a dishwasher. Good sized ensuite too.

The temperature in our room was about 90° and the AC didn’t work, obviously. The reception was closed but I manage to reach someone who changed our room. But the new room was still too hot to sleep well. When we checked out in the morning, no apology, not even acknowledgment that anything was wrong. Never again.

Perform so well, only to be let down badly...

Staff cooperative, well-informed and a pleasure to deal with, rooms clean and comfortable, but one feature common to all three Appart'City hotels we stayed at is that their WiFi compares very badly with their competitors. Even a barge on a canal in France had better performance. It's extremely frustrating to come back to the hotel with a stack of stuff to be sent off, information to be retrieved and emails to be answered only to find repeated logging on is needed on a poorly designed web site (especially for both iOS and Android phones), the connection appears to be OK but is not actually connected to the Internet and dropouts occur randomly, sometimes after only 30 secs to 3 mins.

Very pleasant and surprisingly good hotel

Quite difficult to find the hotel by car without GPS. However, once there, parking was not a problem.
Rooms were clean (except the stove top), cosy (i.e. not a huge amount of spare room!) and fully equipped. Particularly liked the dish washer!
Comfortable bed and quiet location for the night.
Reception staff very helpful.
Would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here while on the road and needed a stop - it's okay, clean, inexpensive, if that's what you're looking for. Read the fine print on the listing - it's not a bed, it's a stiff fold out sofa, not very comfortable or very big. I thought I was \"upgrading\" by choosing a superior studio, but in fact it was the same room with a twin bed added, and is intended for 3 people.

Quiet, inexpensive, clean accommodation in a central location. All that we'd expected for the price we paid. Only downside was that our bed was a double sofa bed,surprisingly comfortable to sleep in but awkward to move around and no bedside tables. We would use AppartCity again but would ask for a bed.

Key in a lock box. access via code \"provided by text\". No text from hotel. Got key when another guest opened lock box (40 minutes after arriving.

No hot water in room. Reception said they would sort out. Didn't sort out.

This was a good place to stay. The kitchen was well equipped. My only complaint was the bed was not comfortable. The mattress was resting on a frame with wooden boards holding up the mistress. The boards made noise when one moved and also the matress leaned to the middle. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was very clean but the bed was a real problem for me.

Hotel Difficult to get to. Door lock was impossible to open from inside or lock from outside! Wifi was lengthy to access and had to be re-accessed the second day. I would never e go back to this hotel,nor would recommend it.

Problems if arriving on a Sunday

If you plan to arrive on a Sunday, be aware that the hotel reception is not open at that time. You need a code to get into the building and the combination to a safe lock to access your room key. Expedia does not tell you that. But that is not the hotel's fault. It is clearly stated on their website, which I did not see because I did not book direct. Direct booking is much cheaper than Expedia. Hotel experience once we got in, with the help of other guests, was positive.

Small but functional and right downtown

We arrived late in the evening but arranged for it by calling ahead to get the codes to get into the parking, building etc. The entrance to the parking lot wasn't demarcated (it's a large entrance under a light coloured arch) and when we entered we found that it was full. To our dismay, a person parked their small trailer in a spot thereby rendering it unusable. We parked near the gate where we weren't supposed to but it wasn't an issue. Entering and retrieving our key from the safe in the lobby was easy to do. The hotel and room are immaculately clean. The room is small but functional, though it was difficult to access the one side of the bed as it is very close to the wall. The bathroom is quite spacious. There was no coffee maker but after requesting one it was brought up after a few hours when one became available. The sofa-bed is hard but reasonably comfortable, though very very noisy even when moving just the slightest bit. Our room looked out onto a back alley which wasn't nice but the location is great as it is right downtown and within walking distance of most things. The internet connection isn't wireless which we prefer but with an ethernet cable. We enjoyed our stay but preferred our next hotel, The Astoria. Although it was located outside of the downtown area, it was much more spacious with a more comfortable bed and had a pool.

good hotel in Agen

We like the apartment-hotel very much. it is very clean, new and the staff is extremely nice. t also affords us the flexibility to have our own meals as opposed to having to eat out all the time. It is within walking distance to all things important- the train station, the shops and restaurants and with easy access to the autoroutes. The only problem is that we checked in on Sunday night and there was no one there, the doors were locked and the keys were in the box inside the building. Some there residents let us in and helped us navigate the system but had it not been for them, we would have had a rather unpleasant first night in Agen. I don't believe we received any instructions on what we need to do if we check in during non-operational hours.

Great hotel and would definitely go back. Was travelling on my own and felt very safe there, location was central and convenient to the station and city. Staff were friendly and helpful and it was very clean. Only down-side was that the Internet only worked in the lobby which meant I wasn't very safe at night when on my own (due to the time difference with nz!). Overall I would defintely go back And recommend it to anyone!

C'est la première fois que je laisse une évaluation sur Hôtels.com ! Alors que je réserve fréquemment des nuits d'hôtel ! Au secours !!! 😱 J'ai passé une nuit dans cet hôtel pour me retrouver le lendemain, dévoré de piqûres d'insectes ! J'ai communiqué avec cet hôtel qui m'a demandé de leur envoyer des photos de mon corps couvert de boutons. Ce que j'ai fait, mais vraiment affligeant ! Je suis passé 2 jours après chez mon médecin, et je leur ai envoyé mon ordonnance ! Enfin, tout ça pour me dire, qu'ils avaient fait un contrôle avec une société anti-nuisibles avec ils avaient l'habitude de travailler,,,??? Et que tout était nickel ! Bref, si vous voulez faire un entraînement survivaliste, foncez !
J'ai quand même du jeter mes vêtements du séjour !

Chambre très spacieuse avec cuisinette pratique. Vaste salle de bains très propre. Personnel d'accueil très aimable et sympathique, aux petits soins pour répondre à tout besoin et question. Très bien localisé à 6 minutes de la Gare où arrive la navette aéroport. Situé dans le centre avec rue piétonne (restaurants, marché couvert, magasins, boutiques, etc.). Un bémol: excellent déjeuner mais un peu cher. Ma note: 10 sur 10.
