Avinash and his staff at the first floor bar & restaurant were great. So was the staff at the front desk laundry is a little expensive per item dry cleaning is what’s really available, don’t pay for laundry dry cleaning only.

The hotel staff are wonderful. The breakfast was amazing with wait staff and chefs very attentive. We got put in the last available non smoking room…it was a disabled room so not really suitable for us. We got moved out later the next day. We used the spa. A haircut for my husband and body scrub for me. Price was fantastic and staff pleasant and professional. The hotel doesn’t have much around it so meals need to be eaten at the hotel (about AUD$50 for an extensive buffet dinner. Overall this was a good stay as we were leaving on a tour from here.

A good property terribly managed. Questionable policies. Be prepared to bring your own linen and housekeeping. Bring your own towels, the property does not believe in keeping towels in the room. You have to literally beg and then also you have to keep chasing them. 5 star hotel with less than 1 star housekeeping.

Do not select this hotel!

We waited for almost 20 minutes in a queue to check in. Throughout our stay, our room keys kept deactivating, which involved more trips to reception and further queuing. The corridor carpets were dusty, with crumbs outside my bedroom door that were still there when I checked out. Our rooms were grubby, particularly the bathrooms. We were given one towel each. My colleague’s shower leaked and created a huge puddle on the bathroom floor every time she used it. On our first morning there were no tables available at breakfast, no cups, the self-service areas were chaotic. My colleague had to drink her tea from a cereal bowl. I asked to move to my colleague’s room when she left for the UK a few days before me as my room was so small it didn’t have a desk. She checked out in the early hours of the morning, I went out to some meetings and asked for the room to be cleaned. I got back at 6pm and it hadn’t been touched. I had to wait for almost 2 hours and when I was finally able to access the room again, I don’t think they had put clean linen on the bed!! A truly unpleasant stay overall. The staff in the breakfast room were harassed and the atmosphere was not pleasant. The only positive was the wonderful young girl who made the omelettes. She worked SO hard, but didn’t seem to get any appreciation.

Crowne Plaza is a haven in a very hectic city and is a lovely hotel. The pool area and rooms are a particular highlight, as was breakfast. The bed was comfortable and room quiet. Lovely restaurants but please be aware that it is very expensive to eat and drink here so budget accordingly! Our cost of room was very reasonable however.

Had a nice selection of food. The staff go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and are so courteous. I cannot say enough about how great I felt about the customer service.
The hotel is not centrally located. There are not many places to walk to, but then again, you don’t want to walk around too much when it’s so hot outside. I mainly used Uber to get around and greatly appreciated to have a nice comfortable and clean room to come back to.

I recently stayed at the wonderful hotel with a group of friends and overall, our experience was quite delightful. The staff was incredibly friendly, always greeting us with big smiles and providing great service throughout our stay. From check-in to check-out, they made us feel welcome and attended to all our needs promptly.

The hotel itself is well-maintained with all the facilities one could ask for during a pleasant stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, offering a relaxing space to unwind after a day of exploring the city. The amenities provided added a nice touch to our visit, making us feel pampered and well taken care of.

However, there was one significant downside to our otherwise fantastic stay - the washroom drainage issue. Unfortunately, the drainage in the washroom was not functioning properly, which made taking showers a less than pleasant experience. Dealing with standing water while trying to shower is definitely not something you want to encounter during your stay at a hotel.

Despite this setback, I must commend the staff for their efforts in trying to address the issue promptly. They were apologetic and tried to assist us as best they could, which we appreciated. It's evident that they care about the comfort of their guests and strive to provide a positive experience overall.

In conclusion, this hotel is a great choice for those looking for excellent service, friendly staff, and a comfort

Very nice building and indeed rooms and shower etc. but it was cold in Delhi, and the room did not get above 17C. I asked for a heater on 3 times and one finally arrived on the 3rd night.

The Buffet meals were great (both breakfast and dinner) but I for a poached egg at breakfast and after a long wait had a disappointing result.

The staff were certainly polite but as an example, the heater just didn't arrive until I really made a fuss.

The Epitome of a 5 Star Hotel Experience

I was blown away by the hospitality of this hotel. Every single member of staff was kind and welcoming, the room service team going out of their way to gift me some sweets for staying with them. The room itself is extremely comfortable and the facilities at the hotel are fantastic. Nikhil ensured that I was enjoying my breakfast every morning, going out of his way to make me eggs on toast one morning. I will definitely be returning, as this experience made me a loyal customer!

Crowne had consistently high standards that I have come to expect worldwide. What really set the Okhla property apart was the professionalism and helpfulness of staff. We arrived late at night when restaurants in local area, and room service at crowne had closed. However, staff understood our situation and cooked an amazing meal for us. Everyone that we dealt with was super helpful and professional, they did everything with a smile. Really set a positive tone for our time in india.

At check I informed them about not having the second person, but they refused to make any changes as my booking was through Expedia. Had to pay INR.1000 each day for the 2 nd person even though there was no second person.
Front Desk was unable to extend my check out as the original reservation was through Expedia. Asked me to another booking through the IGH app. Hotel demanded all payment in advance!!!! There are more but the WORSE was a LADY CALLED and WOKE ME AT
10:30PM to ask the expiry date on my passport!! THIS IS THE WORST Crowne Plaza I ever stayed.!! These staffs are not professionally trained at all!!

Exceptional and friendly hotel

Situated in the south east of Delhi, neighbouring the Okhla Bird sanctuary, we enjoyed the views over the woodlands, the rooms were spacious, clean, beds comfortable and bathrooms were laid out in small cubicles for each necessary function. The pool was enjoyable, the restaurant and bar had great ambience and food was delectable. The staff were ever do helpful, courteous and engaging. Transport was excellent.

Plaza is a real Five star Hotel, the staff are very professional they attend to your every needs,very friendly and are always smiling, the food is amazing in the restaurants and the gym is well Equipped, gym instructor was a great and very well experienced, after the gym you can step into beautiful outdoor poo. This hotel is spotless, the rooms are large and the bed is like sleeping on the cloud, I would highly recommend the crown plaza I’ve stayed in many other crown plaza hotels worldwide, and they always deliver the best service. Of the Crown Plaza's I've stayed at, this one is ok, but not the best. Up keep could use some work. Bad location too. Room was non-smoking but smelled like smoke. Carpet had wet spots when I checked in. Pool and locker room not too clean. Gym was great though. Friendly Staff. Bar was great too.

Stayed at the Crowne Plaza for a couple of days and my stay was comfortable. The room was spacious, the bathroom had a shower and tub. Minibar along with the usual tea/coffee making amenities were available. The breakfast spread had variety from continental to Indian and Asian. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The drawbacks are that the property is fairly old so it does look a little worn out. The Indian food I ordered was pretty bad but the continental was good. I was also woken up close to midnight by housekeeping who brought towels to my room which I had never asked for.

1. Always maintain some cash with you, if possible small changes as well.
2. Wait for atleast 40-45 mins if you want any crocery/ plates etc or call atleast 3-4 times before you get that

4. Always keep Customer copy of your payment proof, staff might mis type and they can claim twice so confidently rather than checking their system/statements 1st.

Pros:
Rooms are Big and Nice
The beds are comfortable
The restaurant staff is very efficient and caring
The breakfast spread is very nice.

Cons:
The housekeeping is very poor. Especially the Bathroom. It seems, as if they have never been cleaned at all. Only work the housekeeping staff does is to simply wipe and leave. Anyone can easily find stains over the wash basins, WC and inside Shower Area.

The housekeeping staff does not bother to refill basic amenties such as Shampoo, Shower Gel, etc., Tea Bags, etc. I had to call for these everytime I needed them.

The A La Carte Menu has extremely limited choices. It seems as if the hotel wants people to only have Buffet Meals.

Hotel Taxi charges are quite high.

The hotel is situated in Industrial Area, hence, there are no convenience stores, Medical stores or Decent eateries around. One has to travel min. 4 kms to have decent hygenic meals outside of hotel.

Hotel needs to improve customer service skills

Hotel Crown Plaza Okhla at New Delhi certainly does not meet the International Crown Plaza standards. Despite making the booking for three persons, we were given just one king side bed for two which was not nice as they wanted us to pay more again for an extra bed. The food is from good to average and the pool did not look very clean, though the lobby area and the room were very nice. Finally, they lost our bag with two expensive pair of Zara shorts which were handed to them to be kept in the luggage room - very sad indeed !!
