The executive rooms were excellent and well appointed. The staff throughout the hotel were very attentive and helpful. The swimming pool area is private and relaxing after a busy day in the heat. There is also a small gym which has all the essentials. Breakfast was varied everyday and the location was excellent, within walking distance of the Sayaji Baug - the best park I have seen in India!

I recently stayed here for 3 days with my family in a Premier Suite (featuring a separate living room and bedroom). While the layout of the suite was good, my experience in Room 1204 was disappointing due to very low shower pressure.
Unfortunately, this issue impacted the first two days of our trip. Had the housekeeping or maintenance team checked this properly before our arrival, this frustration could have easily been avoided.
However, the situation was salvaged by the amazing service at the reception. I want to give a special mention to Purvee, who was helpful throughout our stay. She acknowledged the problem and managed to move us to an upgraded room as soon as one became available for our final day.
Overall, the hospitality was good, and I will return in the future. However, next time I will certainly be asking the team to double-check these minor maintenance points before I check in to ensure a smoother experience.

Hotel excels in poor cleanliness and service an

Over rated, under delivers...massively. I am sure at one point this hotel was a well run, clean, comfortable place to stay. However over the years it is evident this hotel has fallen into the trap of excessive profiteering at the expense of poor maintenance and sub standard staff who struggle to operate the hotel which is literally falling apart. Rooms are dirty, poorly maintained, smell, and generally unpleasant. Food is average, service struggles. This is closer to a European 2 star hotel, and I would manage your expectations on that basis to avoid disappointment. Better still stay away!

Terrible hotel. Hotel had over 4 star ratings but most of them are by locals.
Coming from UK and paying for 5 star service and received 1 star service. Firstly it took almost 2 hours for check in. Then we asked for milk for my child and they sent it with a bill of RS270. We refused to pay that kuch for milk so rude lady went to one of the pther rooms to get them to sign. Unfortunately most of the staff lack common sense. No greetings from anyone when entering the hotel. We paid for an executive room and received a twin room. Then had to wait 30 mins for them to change it. Rooms had dust everywhere. We had 4 people in each room and they decided to give us 2 towels between all of us. When we asked for more they took over 1 hour to give us towels and toilet roll. If you are from abroad then i would stay away and book ITC welcome as that is a real 5 star hotel

Suite was clean & organized. Plenty of water bottles (& more on requests), excellent shower!! Housekeeping & laundry service was prompt. Morning breakfast was OK but masala omelette on my request was always excellent. So many tea options!! Love it. Masala Dosa was also good.

Last morning I was not feeling well. Staff was very helpful in letting me extend my stay (for half charge), they checked on me and helped us with luggage. I cannot thank them enough.

Good hotel. Average stay! Great Service!

The rooms are okay with slight cleanliness issues and some repairs and touchup are necessary.

Sheets and linen are clean and fresh. Labels on the amenities like shampoo, body wash etc have been erased due to wear and tear.

The toilet flush was broken and maintenance tried to repair it 3 times, but still did not get solved.

Breakfast spread is good with eggs and sausage as the only non-vegetarian option. Overall good breakfast and plenty of variety.

Staff service and customer service is excellent. They go out of their way to help the guests.

Good internet access thruout the premises with single login.

We liked the location of the property as it was right in the center of the city.

The things we didnt like about the room was the cleanliness (toilets were dirty & mosquitos in the room) & the breakfast buffet (we stayed for 5 nights but had the same breakfast variety every day).

Terrible.The 3rd bed was supposed to be a mattress on the floor.The room had not been sanitised as per protocol.Almost nothing was available in terms of food for dinner.Only 1 towel was provided for 3 pax.I stayed there since it was an Accor property.I think it needs to be delisted.

What makes this hotel though is the quality of food, would definitely recommend and will stay here again if working in area.

Please save yourself from the miser and stay elsewhere. I’ve never experienced a very disgraceful stay during any of my travels. The reception was very unfriendly the rooms were not clean. To top it all we were given a downgraded to a 1 deluxe room even though we had paid for 2 executive rooms.

I would strongly recommend staying at another hotel. Not worth to spend a single penny at this location.

The hotel's staff are fantastic, with great service regarding all matters, including complex reservations for group travel. The restaurant has an excellent breakfast buffet, there's a very good & affordable laundry service, all-hours room service, and a very nice exercise room with outdoor pool. My only serious complaints are (1) the hotel has a mosquito problem on the main floor (in the lobby and hotel) which I suspect might be due to doors being left open in the kitchen or elsewhere, and (2) the hotel has begun burning fairly strong incense on each floor. If you have an allergy to perfumes, as I do, you might find this a little nauseating. Overall, the hotel was excellent however, and a great value.

nice hotel, good location, great breakfast although Jain is very limited.

room was too cold, only way was to turn AC off.

one of the rooms had cold water and even though staff were notified they took 2 days to sort out.

not acceptable in this day and age for this standard of hotel.

one of the rooms was without hot water and although staff were good to understand it took 3 days for them to sort out a room which was abit late but they did gave us complement laundry which we did.

i did expect more from a mercure hotel but in all not a bad place at all.

Cleanliness and comfort to be improved vastly. Washrooms are tiny cubby holes and not enough amenities provided. Service of staff at front desk and restaurant was good. Travel desk was of no help and the driver provided was most non-cooperative. TV was pathetic —-no news channels could be viewed. Only some very uninteresting movie channels provided.

Comfortable stay

Check-in process was smooth although we arrived late (~4AM). I had called the hotel earlier and notified about the late check-in. Room was very clean. Air condition was working well. Bathroom door was not sliding easy and it was a little iffy. We didn't notify the front desk of this issue because didn't have any energy left to swap rooms at 4AM. Bed was comfortable and linens were ok. Quality of linens could be improved. One of the weirdest thing about the room was a window that was facing the wall. There was no natural light coming in the room. Had I known that there would be no natural light coming in the room, I'd have definitely asked to swap the rooms. There was a curtain in front of the window and we didn't open the curtain, before we went to bed, to check the \"view\". Overall, the room was in a good condition although wear and tear were visible in some decor and the stay was comfortable. The hotel accepted the request for late check-out. We had very minimal interaction with the staff but they were helpful. We didn't use any other facilities.
