I am so thankful to the staff here. I gifted my parents a stay here and unfortunately they fell ill due to jet lag and fatigue. The attention and care given to them was nothing short of incredible. Such care and kindness shown to my parents! From medical care to special meals; the staff was so attentive and helpful. A very big thank you to the staff ! Must Stay

A must-go-to place for vacation if one loves to go to hills. The property is very well maintained. Nestled within the tall trees right on top of the mountain with great landscaping. At all times the feeling of serenity and peace keeps you engulfed.

Wildflower hall: a great place to relax

One thing which we did not like is the key system - they still operate with actual keys (instead of digital ones) and if you loose the key then one has to pay for it ...this will be very common if Kids are travelling along or you give the guest a heads up on this.

I stayed in Almost all premium properties of Oberoi and Taj but the service led by GM Gaurav Issar was the best ever I have experienced . Words are less to explain the warmth shown by each team member. It was my daughter’s birthday and we were all depressed due to Corona Virus but Hotel team lifted our mood with excellent service and arranged party for her in specially decorated Gazebo while arranging High tea & a gift for her. I can say with pride that this is the best team Oberoi has at any premium property .

Truly a heavenly property!!

The Wildflower is truly of the best hotel properties in the world!! The Oberoi treatment is world-class with an acute attention to detail. I chose this place to propose to my girlfriend and they truly made it a special day for us. Prashant helped me with every detail of my proposal, not only setting up a beautiful picnic with the Himalayas as the backdrop but also hiring a photographer and giving us champagne. We cannot wait to come back. The viewes are unreal and the hottub and pool facing the mountains is a perfect way to enjoy the sunset. If I could rate it higher I would!! A fantastic 3-nights. P.S. definitely get mountain view room, you won't regret it!

Service par excellence

The service sets this hotel apart from other hospitality chains in India. From the time to check in, we were absolutely at home. The food was absolutely delicious and cooked to our preferences and constraints (1 of us had to eat gluten free food). The picnic that was arranged was very good and the guided hike added a lot of value to our knowledge of nature.

Wildflowers anniversary stay

Wildflower is in a beautiful location with lots of outdoor activities.. we thoroughly enjoyed the awesome Heated outdoor jacuzzi , Pool and the trek ! The sunrise view is so pretty and convenient as it's easily viewable from the terrace And we were lucky as From our room also It was easily visible The gym and spa facilities unfortunately we couldn't use due to lack of time . As the hotel was aware It was our anniversary the hotel made a lot of effort to decorate our room and gave us cute surprises .Service lives upto the Oberoi name only the food and breakfast buffet was not upto expectations.

They have some copies of Punch from the early 1900s in the library which were amusing to flip through... the heated infinity jacuzzi was a pleasure as well!

Excellently maintained property with a super courteous staff which goes out an extra mile to delight you. We went there for a short vacation and decided not to leave the hotel. The open air Jacuzzi with valley view was simply amazing. The food was to die for, the himachali thali we ordered was so delicious and filling. All preparations were extremely mouth watering.

Beautiful setting in cedar forest with wild strawberries and raspberries trail side, alpine flowers and butterflies. Delicious food and extensive menu. Vegetarian options were particularly interesting. Staff could not have been more accommodating. Enjoyed biking and walking. Only downside was that white water rafting was not available due to construction.

Wildflower Hall : Disappointing and Underwhelming

We had great expectations from Wildflower Hall : having heard rave reviews from a number of friends and relatives who had stayed there over the past few years.
The main disappointment was the fact that the hotel now allows children as guests. The hotel had a policy for many years of not permitting children. This was changed recently and was not stated on the website. Don't get us wrong, we are very fond of kids, but we had booked at Wildflower Hall specifically as we wanted a quiet holiday.

The second issue was that the dress code was not enforced in the hotel : again, we are happy to see and be seen in shorts and flip flops in a beach resort, but not in a place where a dress code is required.

The pool and jacuzzi areas were noisy and crowded : the former, mainly due to the presence of a number of kids.

The booking confirmation mentioned that the room included a separate seating area and an expresso maker : however there was no separate seating area, unless a single seater sofa with a table between the bed and window qualifies as such; there was no expresso maker.

Considering the tariff and positioning, the staff lacked adequate training for this level of hotel, although they were very attentive and helpful.

We had hoped for a quiet and elegant holiday, but the experience left us underwhelmed

Excellent hotel to chill and unwind.

It was a great stay. Spa is excellent! Hotel and service left us in no doubt that it was part of the Oberoi chain of hotels.

Getting there can be a bit of a hassle in the winter due to Chandigarh airport (closest international airport) being covered in fog. Flights are diverted to Delhi. Plan your trip accordingly.

Beautiful hotel in the Himalayas

Wildflower Hall is a beautiful spa hotel ensconced in the Himalayas near Simla, India. It is a beautiful property constructed almost entirely in Burma teak wood.

The quality of service and level of staff attentiveness was exceptional. The hotel, I gather, only recently opened itself to kids. However, it doesn't really cater to families with kids. It's much better suited for couples. The spa facilities are very nice.

Ultimately, if you love beautiful mountain view and relaxation away from civilisation, this is your place.

The most beautiful setting for a perfect getaway!

Sumit and his entire staff went above and beyond any (already high) expectations my wife and I had. Sachin was terrific poolside and at dinner, and the restaurant manager (I'm forgetting his name, sorry!) were exceptional. The activity staff were great, our guide for the hike was friendly and knowledgeable and very interesting. The nice lady who booked our activities was incredibly helpful and patient. The young man who have us a tour of the hotel - everyone and everything was absolutely top-notch! I am very much looking forward to meeting Abhishek at the Rajvilas in Jaipur tomorrow. Sumit convinced me to stay there - if the experience is anything like it was at Wildflower Hall, we're certainly in for a treat!

The property itself is very good, the staff is also very nice, however the rooms are pretty small its not at all a good value for the money.

Too expensive, it had a great location advantage however the price can be lowered quite a bit.
