one of the best apartments i have stayed in , place was big clean and well looked after. Most of all the staff was excellent and caring. I fell over and cut my leg and they fixed it up as if i was one of the family. There was always plenty of tea coffee and milk. Anybody going to Darwin I would recommend you check this place out I do not think you will be disappointed

Location was close to the CBD and an easy walk to the bus terminal. Our unit was very spacious and clean. It was also excellent to have the full kitchen and dishwasher. My daughter, grandkids and I were delighted that we chose Argus for our stay. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Fantastic apartment. The building is very central and near to everything. The staff are wonderful and very friendly. The rooms are large and very clean and had everything you needed. There was a large lounge, 2 patios, fully equipped kitchen, office, laundry, 3 toilets, 2 showers and a huge bathroom. Highly recommended

we loved the Penthouse which had spectacular views. Staff were also wonderful, knowledgeable and friendly.The location was central and within walking distance to most things in the CBD. The pool setting did not really impress us, however, everything else was perfect so we would definitely recommend the Argus to others and we would love to stay at the Argus again.

The bedrooms were very bright at night, you could almost read a book. Better blockout blinds/curtains are needed if you like a dark bedroom. The split system air conditioning units in our apartment were very noisy and could do with replacing. Great location, great communication, clean, but the bright bedrooms would stop us staying again unfortunately.

Worth a Repeat Visit

The Argus offers high quality, spacious accommodation. Very friendly and helpful staff. Large balconies. Nice shaded pool and well-equipped fitness room. Great location in Darwin, but street parking at times can be difficult to find. Very reasonable rates. Very good accommodation for extended stays.

The property was in a good location. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The pool was undercover which was fantastic as you could use the pool in the heat of the day and not get burnt. The 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment was bigger than the photos showed. Would happily stay here again. Only downside was parking wasn't included in the price and the carpark was very tight.

I would have enjoyed a higher floor with a better view since i was staying for a week and away from the front entrance as it can get quite noisy from Saturday night party goers, The parking is quite small underground and can be a nuisance, so park carefully. Overall it was a good experience, Staff seemed friendly

We stayed in a huge 1 bedroom apartment with two bathrooms, a kitchen with all utensils and a laundry with dryer. The apartments are very close to restaurants and shopping with Woolworths a 10 minute walk away. Very comfortable and convenient.

The two bedroom apartment was huge so much space with full size kitchen loads of bench space including laundry with dryer and balcony with dining table and a view of the port. You could comfortably stay here for a long time. Underground parking was very good to have access to. We enjoyed our stay and happily recommend.

This is my second stay at Argus. The stay was pleasant. Although there were some amenities described in the book that weren’t provided. Other amenities expected of a penthouse stay for 7 people weren’t enough either. We had 4 ppl sharing one bathroom but only one bottle of body wash, shampoo and conditioner. There should have been additional provided without having to ask considering the amount of people staying so more attention to detail would be an improvement. Other than that, we would stay again.

Biggest apartment I have ever stayed in. The pool could have been a little warmer although with the heat it certainly bought my body temp down. Lots of scooters outside if you are young enough to ride them, we walked lol.
Not much in the way of shopping or takeaway food.
Found the area overall quite relaxing and laid back, there are some nice areas to visit once you get your bearings

Massive Apartment - Great Location

We stayed for a week in a one bedroom apartment (it’s actually a 3 bed but they lock the other 2 rooms) but we still had access to the 3 bathrooms! There was also a laundry, full kitchen, lounge room and 2 balconies. The location is great for quick access to CBD and a short walk to some of the main attractions such as Crocosaurus Cove (very expensive). They offer room cleaning every 2 days which was fine for us. They also have a great shaded pool, barbecue area and even an additional lounge, kitchen and shower area off the lobby for guests to use if they have to check out but aren’t ready to leave. The hotel has 24hr reception which is a great comfort and the staff are all so helpful and friendly. Big shout out to Kaveesh for sharing his funny stories. Overall it was a great stay and we’d highly recommend.

Downside we could hear the people on the next floor above stomping around, chairs sliding all night. So it was not peaceful one night stay. Overall cleanliness was pleasing, a few questionable stains on curtains to be picky.
