You could definitely tell the room hadn't been used in awhile. The bed skirts had stuff on them, the desk chair was filthy, the room had an odor to it, and the air/heat unit leaked. You could hear something from so night in the room next to us. It definitely served it's purpose for the night but we didn't stay out e second night.

The hotel doesn’t have an elevator. Property was in poor repair. We were offered a room on the first floor that we’d have to force the door closed or it won’t lock. Check in person was less than helpful. Absolutely would not recommend this hotel.

I didn’t have super high expectations because we chose this hotel based on location to our event and super cheap pricing on Expedia! I also never leave reviews, but wished I had known this before staying! All of the other reviews are raved about it being clean and a great place to stay! However, that’s not at all what I experienced! It smelled immediately upon walking in the doors of mold or mildew! The room also smelled and anytime I was in the room I had a horrible head ache and runny nose! We had two rooms with lots of damage! My peep hole was filled in with stuff so you couldn’t see out and the other rooms door was stuck shut when we first checked in! The rooms also had multiple chips all over doors and paint all over! The shower had horrible water pressure and the vent van was loud but I don’t think worked well which may be contributing to the mold smell or presence of mold! The bed also was why we picked this place because it had reviews it was comfortable! It was so hard and actually hurt if I laid on one side too long! The staff was actually super friendly and helped with whatever I needed! This place is great if you don’t care to sleep well or or it’s super clean! I just wish I had known this before I stayed!

I have stayed at 3 different Baymont properties in the past month. This was by far, the worst one. Noticeable damages in the wall and ceiling inside the room. The fridge was filthy and took a long time to get cold. Overall poor looking hallway interior and exterior. I don't usually do reviews, but this one felt different.

Our room was not clean. The sheets and blankets had stains, the shower, bathroom, counters and microwave were dirty. I would not recommend staying here. We could not even get under the sheets and blankets and slept on top of them. We felt very uncomfortable.

locks on doors broken and bedbugs

To start with my door to my room wouldn't lock at all, I went to management and nothing was done. He came to my room looked at it and told me they just put new locks on. In the middle of the night someone walked into my room because the door wouldn't lock.
When I finally wake up the next day I looked that my lousy mattress and saw black spots all over it, I can only assume it was bedbugs, they weren't there before I laid down, believe it or not I looked for them, but I'm not 100% sure if they were bedbugs. But I do know that they weren't there when I went to bed. Finally, . When I was checking out I told the front clerk that someone came into my room and that I thought that the mattress had bedbugs. The clerk confirmed to me that new locks were put on the doors, obviously didn't do a good job putting on new locks on my doors, and I also told him that it looks like the mattress had bedbugs. I was told that he would look into it. That was a real satisfying answer. I can't believe I paid for this type of hotel at least they didn't charge you for bedbugs and a door that wouldn't lock. What a waste of money.

This one is a nope for me

If you need bare basics, it gets the job done but i expected a little more for the price. Everything was dated, worn and cheaply done. The deadbolt didn't work leaving a cheap chain latch as security. I won't stay there again.

Worst place I have ever stayed...and I'm 60

Was questionable how much, if any, gets cleaned between patrons .
The toilet seat was so disgusting my family opted to use the nearby restaurants instead.
I wondered why they wouldn't just replace it alone on optics when I noticed what appeared to be a feces colored smear on the side. When I was able to take toilet paper and remove parts of the discoloring my family wouldn't set foot in the bathroom. Being Indy weekend, our options were null and luckily we were there just hours fully clothed in the beds. First and last trip to Indy.

It was outdated which wasn’t an issue for me but we were on second floor with 60/70s type stairs with three children under 5… no elevator. Inside the room there was a pen on the night stand sitting in liquid and the odor continued….

I've never had a worse experience at a hotel. They put me in a room that had a man right outside of my window doing construction. Like legit was standing on the other side of the window. The room was also very filthy; one mattress had a large bloodstain on it and the other large yellow stains. There was hair all over both mattress covers and I requested to switch rooms. In the new room, there were stains on the other mattresses as well, but at least no blood stains (but there was still hair on the mattress covers). There was also dust all over the furniture, hair in the bathroom tub and on the floor, stains on the towels, the bed frame from one of the beds literally fell off of the wall and the employee instructed me to shove the bed towards the wall to keep it from falling on the floor (verbatim, \"Shove the bed! Shove the bed!\") but the worst was the horrid smell from the unusable fridge with mold growing in the back. I tried to get ahold of the manager three times (once when I was checking out and two other phone calls) but he \"wasn't in\" every time I called. I'm debating reporting this to the health department and Better Business Bureau because this stay was not anywhere worth $114.

Rating 5 stars for what it is, not in comparison to other classes of hotel. Everything in the hotel and room is dated. The linens are all threadbare. But the room was comfortable, the HVAC was great (not too noisy or blowy), it was quiet, and it was surprisingly clean.

The EconoLodge in Lebanon is a great value; it was the best price we found for a good clean hotel in the area. It was conveniently close to the interstate.
The building is a bit older, and not fancy, but the room was comfortably large, it was clean, the shower worked great, and and the beds were fine. I would stay there again.

Putting aside the fact that they are in the process of renovating, there needs to be a few more repairs in the rooms. The shower dripped and we could not get it to stopped. The sink was very slow draining. I like the spacious rooms with microwave and fridge. The people are kind. It is conveniently located.

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at Econolodge in Lebanon. The room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. Area quiet. The micro and fridge were very much appreciated, along with the hair dryer. The bathroom exhaust fan was not working and we reported that. Because of the dry winter air, it did not affect us. It had a few paint nicks, but we would definitely stay there again for the price.

I was needing a nice place at an affordable price this was the best place. The bed was very comfortable I took a bath to relax and a shower the next morning both were excellent. Room was very spacious and I liked the floors you never know what your getting with carpet sometimes. The refrigerator worked my freezer packs were frozen very important. This is my go to place when I'm in the area. Everyone was pleasant and friendly excellent customer service

There is construction going on on the whole building, making it difficult to find parking or even get in the building. The facilities are outdated and obviously have not been updated for several years. Our sink and shower were both yellow. We found a cockroach in our shower.

Only if it’s your only option!

Room was gross. Just dingy. Lighting sucks, pillows were flat as can be. The bed was so uncomfortable i could feel the springs from the mattress. Room stunk, couldn’t even open a window to air it out or it’s $200 fine. Toilet barely flushed, bathtub was stained to hell. If it wasn’t the only hotel left close to crawfordsville, i wouldn’t had stayed there. Place is just dilapidated. Dude at the front desk was friendly though.

Good last resort hotel.

Called us demanding to know when we would arrive. Said our rooms would be considered a no show if we didn't show by 11. Mirrors very dusty with water spots. Strong mildew smell in the bathroom. Bathroom door didn't close without force. Lightbulbs out above the mirror. Pillows were no thicker than a folded towel. 4 adults registered, only 3 towels & 2 washcloths.
Hallway carpet was clean. Hotel was quiet. Easy to get to from highway .

Extremely disappointed for the price!

Well the first room I was given the ceiling was repaired but not completed it was dirty curtains and there was drywall spatter in many places and the TV did not work correctly. And the second room I was given the ceiling plaster was hanging down as seen in the photos!

I would have been ashamed to show people or rent people these two rooms they gave me! Especially at $100 a night!
