Broken toilet seat, broken coffee maker, non-functioning shower, no towels in the room at check-in. Should I keep going? The only thing that i have positive to say is the gentleman that works the late afternoon/early evening shift was excellent.

The hotel was convenient and affordable aside from that there were no towels in the room and when towels were requested, I was told none were available. So if I add in the cost of having to go and buy towels to have a shower, I guess I could have stayed at a nicer place. Lol

They were fixing pool and there was no smoke detector in my room. They seem slightly behind but a friendly maintenance man seemed to be on top of things and actually was doing an inspection, otherwise I never would have looked up to notice the smoke detector was missing. The breakfast was okay, staff friendly and helpful. Some people it looks as though they are semi permanent residents. It served it's purpose certainly a good price. It will probably be in better shape on for the next person who comes along. Seems to be family run.

The place was awful. There was a motel 6 next to it that we wished we had booked. There was no elevator, and my siter has a bad knee. I had to take the suitcases up a set of stairs because we were on the second floor. The most important issue is that it was not safe. The police were called over an altercation when we were returning to the room. It appeared that the hotel had long term tenants and they cafrried on through the night making noise and in front of the hotel, and making hard to sleep.

The room had no towels, no remote control for the television, no guide for the few channels on the tv. The noise from the floor above was loud.

They are writing their own reviews!! I cannot imagine in any world, why someone would ever rate this place over a 1 star. Unless you were looking for a hotel that provides the street workers and street products right in the hallway…
Our door had been pryed open previously . And all it took was a pen to open the door with out a key card. And inside the room had the most fluid I have ever seen on the closet mirror. No beddding just the sheet. And the floors were not cleaned.
We ran out of there so fast.
The reviews and photos are all a deception. DO NOT FALL FOR IT. And please NEVER bring children here.

I was shocked when Sandy the check in clerk told me that I had a Handicap room with no bathtub. I did not ask for that, I was shown on the advertisement a nice room with bathtub!. I asked to switch to a better room and she said all rooms were taken but online it showed 7 rooms available. Advertisement showed swimming but Sandra told me that the pool and hottub were not available, this was unacceptable. That night around 2:am there was pounding from the room next door, This happened several times and still were not accommodated.
If this wasn't enough the continental breakfast was a embarrassing. It was open from 6-9am, I got there 7:00am and coffee dispensers were empty. The only thing offered were a few muffins, a few waffles in a glass cabinet, some cornflake, chery punch. No orange juice or any fruits offered.
The next day I asked her if there were any rooms available to switch to but she said all rooms were taken, BUT again I looked on line and it said there were some rooms available. I showed Sandra the screen of rooms available and she began to flutter, her voice changed and I knew that she was only making excuses not to give me a better room. She told me \"IT IS WHAT IT IS\" several times during my stay.
The bathroom toilet paper holder fell apart when I touched it.
The bed was very lumpy, and the pillows were like pancakes, and it was pulling teeth to get an extra one. I asked for a discount and again Sandy said IT IS WHAT IT.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND this MOTEL!!!

First time I ever refused to stay in a hotel. I felt unsafe and left. There was a lot of sketchy people in the parking lot and inside. There was a hole in the bathtub that was patched with a blob of bondo or something. I was told that the room I saw was one of the nicer ones by the desk clerk. Really disappointed that this was even available on Expedia.

says their dog friendly but always had complaints with my dogs when other dogs were always barking too. couples fighting in the hallway slamming doors. kids running down the hallway. i don’t recommend staying here. staff stole some of my belongings.

The room didn’t look anything like the pictures. The location smelled of smoke. The room had sheets that were stained. There were wires hanging from the ceiling. The air conditioner didn’t work and air filter required replacement. The TV didn’t work. Every channel was blue. The lamp on the night stand didn’t work.

Once we went upstairs via the stairs to our room which was located on the third floor a very sketchy man in the room next to us ran passed us down the stairs. He repeatedly opened and closed his door loudly and exited the stairs several times. I called down stairs but no one ever answered.

My biggest problem with the location was that they took a picture of my drivers license. When I asked why she said it was due to Yuba City police checks.
I requested the copy back in the morning. Which the returned.

The room was clean. The staff is friendly.
It’s a no frills kind of stay, which the price reflects, but we’ve stayed many times. It’s clean. The beds are comfortable. It’s quiet. Due to my dependence on supplementary oxygen, I always request an accessible room. They always accommodate. We have reservations for Christmas coming up.
If you just want a clean, comfortable place to spend the night, this is the one.

Three days before our stay, I was told the room I booked wasn’t available, which I understood. We were given a suite with a pull-out bed instead, but the pull-out was unusable. The bedding hadn’t been changed, and the smell was awful. When we asked for clean bedding, we were told we’d have to wait until 10:30 PM for the night shift employee to arrive.

There is also no elevator, and we were placed on the third floor — something that should really be shared at the time of booking.

The only good part so far of our experience has been the gentleman who checked us in. He was very friendly and professional.

Bugs all over the room, cockroaches on BED, walls, bathtub, etc. big long leg spiders on corners of the walls. Requested a new room and it also had spiders all over the corners. Bed also had stains and bathtub was black at the bottom. Very very dirty and they didn’t want to refund us.

Upon arriving at the location, we noticed heavy foot traffic, some bicycle junkies, and a side exit door propped open with a wet floor sign.
Needless to say. Someone is running drugs through this place with kreepy krawlies all over. Recovering addicts can see this from a mile away. Very unsafe location.

The picture on the website does not match the actual room itself. The room was dirty. The mattresses were disgusting. The air conditioner was not working properly. The hotel and especially the room smelled like cigarettes, they sprayed the room with air freshener, which didn’t mix well with the smoke aroma. There was sketchy people outside of the hotel that could in and out as they please. The random fire alarms during the middle of the night were the highlight as well. I don’t think I’ll be back here. Need a huge improvement

Property is old and a bit worn out. No elevator which is an issue with older folks and those with a physical limitation. No access from or to Hwy 99 which runs right by it. Must use side street to get to the property. Staff is friendly and nice. Good shower. Adequate parking. Good but small swimming pool. Small guest laundry - better than none. Breakfast is minimal. Close to shops and restaurants (by car). A/C worked fine and sufficient electrical outlets. Bigger size mini frig was good. WiFi was OK and secured.

Super loud, homeless just hanging around. Parking lot is very small so a standard pickup is even tricky to get parked. Lobby looks like maybe things were remodeled but stairs to rooms stink and had a literal pile of dog waste. Glad we weren’t hanging around the room and had other things to do so we just slept and took a shower. Bed was not very comfortable. I wouldn’t call 2 slices of bread and a couple containers of yogurt and 2 bagels breakfast but I guess it would be if you’re desperate. I realize you get what you pay for but this is technically a 1star not a 2.5 and certainly not a 5.0 like Expedia claims through their reviews.

Air conditioning was broken with literally knobs and buttons broken off, outlets sparked when we tried to plug charging devices in wall outlets inside the room. Staff was friendly, but mediocre helpful. There were loud tenents in the room(s) above us... I approached the staff member at the front dest 3x throughout the night to help, they insisted they called the noisy rooms but then I realized THERE WERE NO PHONES IN THE ROOM. We got no sleep, I felt unsafe, my kids were traumatized by the noise of screams and constant banging (It felt like the roof was going to collapse on us while laying in bed with the heavy man doing whatever he was doing above us). Breakfast was nice, and my young kids enjoyed the pool (although it wasn't very clean, and regular tenents with loud music, dogs, and heavy smoking occupied the pool area). I Do NOT recommend.

I like of the staff is very kind. Smoke detector was wrapped in plastic bag. I reported first night there and Second night. Nothing was done. Downstairs window is not secured. Room smell like smoke. Went to work come back my bed was tossed up. Claim pest control, why would they mess with my bed. I had to ask for room to be cleaned. Clean once. When i found i saw my room toss, i asked for another room. They moved me, but smoke again. I don't have high standard. This was a waste of company money. I will not be staying there again. And my key card i had to get coded everyday.

I stayed at the Sutter Inn and found a bed bug infestation in my room. I documented live bugs and bites, and immediately reported it to management. The experience was unacceptable — the room was clearly not properly maintained or inspected. I strongly advise others to avoid this property until they address this serious issue. Public health should take notice.

Where to start … first off I truly don’t know how some people reviewed this place as a 10 out of 10 … we checked in and first off the person at the counter had the personality of a rock, she acted like she was doing us a favor by checking us in … ended up on the 3rd floor (no elevator) Ice machine was in the lobby only … the pictures on the site was NOT the room WE had … to start it looked like a hostel, lamps broken, no phone or decor no remote for TV , wires everywhere and AC looked like a 12 year old installed it … the room door had been pried open and never really locked … no hairdryer and just a bar of soap in the bathroom… So, all in all it was like a skid row room, don’t be fooled by the photos … the pool was dirty and grounds around it never cleaned (Cigarette butts everywhere) on the plus side the room was only $78 per night … the moral of the story … you get what you pay for …

Worst hotel ever!

I have stayed in a lot of hotels at different price ranges and this place was the worst of them all.
Cockroaches and grasshoppers in the room. Being awaken at 3:39am from Indian prayers played at the front desk, so loud the sound was bouncing off the walls in the hotel hallway. To compensate, I was promised a refund which of course never happened.
Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else but at this place.

Better than expected for a budget hotel.

Got a 2 queen room. This particular room had almost a separate room area in front. We didn't need the space but it was nice to have. Beds were fine, The only real issues we had were that during the night water was running down the bathroom wall, we're assuming from someone upstairs using the shower, and the phone in the room was completely disconnected.
