The hotel exceeded our expectations. It’s well-preserved, modern, stylish, and wonderfully quiet. The number of elevators adds a real sense of privacy, and the view from the room was beautiful. Breakfast was exceptionally delicious — truly one of the highlights.

The bed is exceptionally comfortable — not overly soft, but perfectly supportive, offering just the right balance to keep your back aligned and well-rested.

To be honest, I was a bit concerned before arriving because of some of the reviews I had read. But as an experienced traveler, with stays ranging from luxury resorts to tiny family-run B&Bs, I can confidently say that Daroma stands out. Comparing it with our experiences across Israel — in Tel Aviv, Eilat, and other well-known (and very expensive) hotels — Daroma is far better in every meaningful way.

I don’t need a massive room for a short stay; I need comfort, quality, and thoughtful design. And this hotel delivers exactly that. A genuinely pleasant surprise and a place I would gladly return to.

The hotel is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. I initially saw the hotel from the outside and thought \"it is not that fancy\" but then we got in and we were suprised and instantly in love with the hotel.
The room is super clean, even for fancy hotel's standards, the food is super good on Friday night - Kidosh, and the breakfast is good as well.
The staff were super supportive and friendly, sadly it felt that they are kind of understaffed but it may be just my feeling.
Overall, 10/10 would recommend my friends and family.

the Hotel is very basic rooms and Design, can use some face lift, the staff is nice. there is nowhere to eat around there on the weekend. the Hotel Dinner is extremally pricy and does not includes Wine or even Tea. we basically paid for the night twice since we had nowhere to eat and ended up eating the Hotel dinner which is buffet style. there is no elevator.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The daily breakfast was amazing!! The room was clean while somewhat basic.
Please note there is no lift/elevator at this hotel. It wasn’t an issue for our group, but I think it’s something to be aware of.
Parking is on the street, and like in the rest of Israel it isn’t free. You’ll need Pango or Cello to park via those apps, and to do that you’ll need an Israeli phone number. Parking is enforced- I forgot to set parking one morning and sure enough- I got a ticket. :)
Back to the hotel- lovely pool, great food, clean facilities and pleasant sitting area off lobby.
I recommend it!

Very basic accomodations recommended for people travelling in the area that just need a room to sleep in. No elevator so if you have infants or a disability make sure the hotel knows - we thought it's clear guests with infants can't be placed at the 3rd floor but we were wrong... Dining hall an pool were closed due to covid.

Very nice for a family

It's simple but nice. We didn't realize there was no lift so when we were offered help with our bags I politely refused however getting the kids and luggage up three flights at the start was a chore. The pool is great for all ages and the lifeguard very diligent. Reception staff were super helpful with tourism and eateries.

Small, clean hotel. Good location for trips to Maktesh. Staff super friendly and we were impressed by their adherence to Covid regulations.
Due to fact that there is no lift, staff leave huge bags of laundry on the stairs and the corridors while cleaning which is not very esthetic.

Room was good - once you get to it. THERE IS NO ELEVATOR! I had to drag my bags up four flights of stairs to get to my room. This was either a poorly planned hotel, or a conversion of apartments. Either way it was a major pain. Unfortunately, unless you are willing to spend $600 USD for the Beersheet, this is one of the only viable options. Parking wasn't bad

Decent for a (very) short stay

We stayed at the Ramon Inn for one night on our way to Eilat, we wanted to split up the drive. The common spaces are great and up to Isrotel standards, the breakfast is wonderful and full of choices. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the rooms themselves. They are quite basic and the bed isn't very comfortable. A double/queen bed is actually 2 twin beds put together. I understand that this is because of religious customers, but I wish there was another option. The pool area is nice, albeit can get quite loud if there are screaming children.

Service, however, is 10/10. Everyone was nice and they are doing a great job at following COVID regulations (even as they change nearly every day!) We found that we didn't have towels in our room, so we asked the front desk and they were there PRONTO - and they were warm!

Within an hour of booking Israel Ramon Inn, I realized the site had reverted to a January date rather than the March date I needed. I emailed the hotel. I emailed Hotel.com and then called. I was promised a resolution in 24 hours. Apparently that resolution was the hotel was unresponsive as I never heard another word.

The overall experience was ok. The hotel employees were very helpful and friendly. The pool is very nice and the hotel is in an excellent location.
However, the hotel is not in the best conditions (the rooms especially look old). The beds are uncomfortable and not especially clean. The dishes in the kitchen were not well washed and the sheets and cloths had several stains.
There is no elevator and on the stairs, there were boxes of sheets and bags that made it very uncomfortable and dangerous to walk there.
In the room's description, it says that there is a microwave, but there was none. The manager was friendly and got one for us.
The power went out at least 4 times. They took care of it very quickly when we complained but still was very annoying.
It was not the best experience for a family vacation.

The most terrible and un-cost effective hotel WW

After visiting hundreds of hotels worldwide, I don't believe I was encountering such a bad offering anywhere!!! and I certainly didn't write this kind of review in more than 10 years I am using Hotels.com!!! It started that we didn't get the suite we ordered (We ordered a 50sqm suite and got 28sqm suite that we paid more than 400USD a night!! the most un-cost effective I have ever met!), then it happens to be on the 4th floor with no elevator!! The website and the receptionist didn't bother to mention it or to offer help with the luggage and gave us wrong directions, so we were carrying all our staff to 4th floor and down again.....Her superior (Xenia) refused to apologize. On top of all these issues, there were some additional small staff that just get you very bothered (The A/C wasn't responsive and it was either too hot or cold, the pool is open for 8 hours daily, they didn't have an extra chair when we asked for, we waited 15 minutes on the line to the coffee in the morning....world record!!, the light in corridor on the pool table was broken, the room wasn't clean even after noon time.....). I think Expedia needs to ask themselves 3 big questions: 1. Why do they call the room suite while it is hardly an apartment (The hotels website call it apartment). 2. Why the description on the website do not fit the one the guests get 3. How this kind of hotel get a review of 8.2?
I must say the only positive thing was the efforts and understanding of Yossi Levy the manager!

More like a motel than hotel

The hotel is more like a motel. Very small beds and there were some hairs on the sheets as well as 2 giant moths in the room... the only option for dinner was a buffet for 40 bucks with not many vegetarian options apart from salad. It's a very nice location in the desert but a very small town, so not practical to stop unless you come by car. Not very comfortable for the price they ask. No elevator going up to the 3rd floor. Would not stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Isrotel Ramon Inn for 3 nights. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The pool is great! Breakfast was included in our stay. We had our other meals at restaurants within walking distance to our hotel. The Ramon Crater was amazing. It’s 3 minute drive from the hotel. Walking trails are within the crater. There are many other day trips you can take from the hotel. The hotel can provide you with information nearby activities.

Terrible hotel with no lifts!

From the start we got into the hotel we had to wait one hour to get checked in because apparently their system was down, one we got checked in we were told that our room was on the third floor and this hotel doesn’t have any lifts so we had to carry two heavy suitcases up the stairs which is crazy, I have never been to a hotel without any lifts! Then we went downstairs to use the pool and were told it closes at 6!! Who in their right mind is going swimming before then, so we had nothing to do in the hotel in the evening as the TV is very limited and of very low quality and there is nothing exiting in the area to do, the next morning we woke up at 10:15 and called reception to ask when breakfast ends only to be told it is at 10, and we were not informed anything at the time of check in, and to top it off they took my card at the beginning of the booking and charged £138 and they had no record of it on their system so I showed them the pending transaction on my banking app, they said they don’t know why that is and they will have to contact their accepting team who took my email address and subsequently let me know that they had reversed it a few hours later, but I should not have had to have gone through such hassle, I would stay well clear of this place, if you don’t you have been warned what to expect!

The Ramon Inn was very conveniently located, staff was very friendly and helpful and the restaurants in the hotel allowed us to enjoy choice of meals without going out again when we were tired.
The only negative is there is no elevator but if walking up a flight of steps is no problem, as it was for us, it is a great place to stay when visiting the Machtesh

Lesser known area in Israel

We had a lovely time. The hotel is attractive, with a lovely lobby and dining area. Rooms were clean. I asked for a room for three people and they gave us a bedroom with twin beds and a living room with an open up couch. There was a tv, fridge, coffee maker and ac , of course. Hotel is in center of town near everything. Mitzpe Ramon is a small town in the desert of Israel, overlooking a beautiful crater, which can be explored from around and from within. It is also near home of Ben gurion
The first president of Israel. It is a blooming desert with beautiful landscape . I highly recommend a visit to the area

Nice place for less money than Bereeshit. That said, there are no elevators so if you have a lot of luggage, request help from the staff. Phone in the room didn't work and the room smelled of cigarette smoke for a time because someone smoked in the stairwell and wasn't allowed to. Yael, the manager at the front desk was the best part of the stay. She was so sweet and did everything possible to make my stay comfortable. Id recommend that hotel just because of her! Breakfast was good too. Nice selection of different types of food. Great location. All in all, i enjoyed my stay.

The Isrotel Ramon Inn hotel was a terrific place to stay while visiting Mitzve Ramon and the Ramon Crater. The hotel is a two minute drive to the Ramon Crater visitor center, which overlooks the magnificent crater. (You can gaze at the canyon, as well as drive down into it - lots of hiking trails to do.) The hotel was modern, nicely designed, and had great extras like a very large indoor pool (as well as dry and wet saunas). Our studio room was perfect - it had a comfortable living room, a separate bedroom, and bathroom. For those inclined to cook, there was a small kitchen with fridge and cooktop. The room was immaculate. Our breakfast was included with our room - don't miss their breakfast as it was sumptuous!. There's also a cafe in the hotel, although we didn't have an opportunity to frequent it. Friendly staff, great room, great location - all added up to a lovely time. We'd definitely return to this hotel.

We went for dinner at the hotel, which was good but expensive - of you know you are going to eat at the hotel I would go with full board - better value. Overall was pleasantly surprised.

The staff was very friendly and always ready to be of assistance, even trying a bit harder. The lack of elevators is a bit of a drawback, especially for older people, but we managed. Unfortunately, most of the time, people going up and down the stairs were noisy, not having been told strongly enough to consider guests in nearby rooms. Signs are not enough - parents, especially, have to be told to make sure that their children be as quiet as possible when going up or down the stairs. The food was plentiful and good but it would have been more efficient if full platters could have been brought to replace empty or almost empty ones rather than have empty platter taken away and after a while, bring the full ones. Again, what stood out the most was the efficiency and friendliness of the staff - all the staff.

Nice Place if You Need Conference Facility

Great breakfast. Fabulous pool was broken and closed during our stay, unfortunate as this was a main reason we preferred this hotel. Hotel did not have beds made according to our reservation (choice of one big or two small beds, sofa made as bed). Hotel does not have elevator, so they should have staff carry up guests' luggage instead of standing around. Room size and condition are typical of hotels at half this price, but lobby is big and hotel has conference rooms, nice if you need them but worthless if you don't and thus overpriced for visitors like us.

Very nice down to earth, relaxing base

a weekend away with another couple - fabulous base to take advantage of all the activities associated with the machetesh rimon - sightseeing, cycling, atv, hiking, viewing the stars (with Ira the Starman), going to Negev wineries, visiting goat farms/cheese making. Hotel was very down to earth and very relaxing. Great Israeli breakfast. Fabulous friday night dinner. Staff was extremely friendly and almost all the rooms are suites. Beds were very comfortable. Very good black-out curtains. Great pool, sauna and steam room. Hotel has very interesting history -- was originally 2 separate apartment buildings that were very creatively reconfigured and transformed into a very nice hotel.
