General cleanliness of the room was poor for a country so high-tech the TV was old and there was no USB port in the room Also when the room was cleaned it wasn’t clean. Thoroughly marks were left on the shower door tissues were not replenished just missing that five star touch that they promise.

The hotel absolutely lived up to its reputation. We only stayed for one night, but it was enough to appreciate the warm and friendly service, breathtaking views, and exceptional food. Everything felt thoughtfully curated to create a unique experience.
We hope to return in the spring, summer, or fall to enjoy the warmer weather and explore all that Mitzpe Ramon has to offer. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable desert getaway!

Didn't have the best experience... had a massage cancelled and the beds in my room were pretty uncomfortable... both my partner and I didnt sleep well... also my shower didn't drain properly so was standing in puddle of water during each shower and the bathroom had a funky sewage smell. Was only there 2 nights and pretty much didn't spend anytime in the room besides to shower and sleep.
The outdoor amenities are fantastic, beautiful pool and biews are spectacular... great poolside bar/ restaurant they have a fire-pit outside and its such a vibe when they light a fire... i think its more a hotel then a spa vibe.

Fabulous. Gorgeous hotel, spectacular views, amazing amenities. Genius to locate this hotel on the Ramon \"crater\". Architecture, pools, simply outstanding. From the front desk, to the golf carts, to the spa staff, 10 out of 10. My only suggestion would be to provide more information--in English--on how to access the bell boys and golf carts and to provide more beverages/snacks in the rooms.

probably one of the most beautiful locations in the world. the crate is amazing and so does the view from the hotel.

The fancy utilities and the unique appearance of the facilities are super cool.

Perfect place for a romantic break.

The few comments i do have are given the price of this experience, there are quite a few things that were not matching the price:

Rozmarine restaurant - the dinner provides a big variaty of bouffet and main courses, but non are very good and some are even poor.

Room Service - maybe a fluke, but our order took almost twice the time it was supposed to and we had to call several times to check up on it. received the food quite late which was a bit annoying.

Toilet floor - yes i know its sounds weird, but because of the tiling which are \"wall-like\" stone, it gets flooded with every small tap open. make the whole toilet room a small pond which doesn't go away.

The Dinner is Overrated

The restaurant was a disappointment. Many recommended on the food in this hotel. It was ok, the quality was ok, the variety was ok, but it wasn't fine dining at all. We liked only few of the dishes. The main courses both in the dinner and breakfast were in medium quality.
I personally don't like the check-in process where you have too many steps and it has to go by their book.
The room was ok, the view was ok, the cleaning was also ok.

The hotel is beautifully designed, the rooms are spacious and clean. Having a pool overlooking the dessert was a real perk.
Food was delicious but really overpriced. Breakfast is included but all other meals were add-ons and expensive.
The staff was generally nice and attentive. The common areas (pool, lobby, restaurants etc.) were beautifully designed and maintained.
A couple of this thatcan be improved are the customer service and the comfort of their beds. We came for our anniversary and despite mentioning this a few times, the hotel had nothing much to offer. Our mattress was also really hard (and we love firm mattresses). Overall a positive experience, but expensive. Probably worth for very special occasions only...

The service is terrible. It takes forever to get room service. The front desk didn't know what they were doing, and everyone we spoke with referred us to someone else.

Amazing hotel! Luxury stay, staff is superb, attentive and obliging, the property is beautifully designed and maintained to fit in with the magnificent crater with views of the crater from every location at the property. Food is amazing, recommend going half board so can enjoy the brilliant breakfast and dinner. Lounges by the pool overlooking the crater are a treat, with pool side staff keen to make up your ‘bed’ and cater for anything you need. Concierge staff who arrange anything you need, valet parking and to drive you and your luggage to rooms via golf cart if you don’t want to walk. Bedroom and bathroom very comfortable and well maintained.

i had very high expectations for this hotel and was a bit disappointed. The setting is beautiful, the hotel design is amazing and overall the rooms were great. Best rain shower i have had at a hotel. Breakfast buffest was fantastic. The food other than breakfast was good but not great. This was disappointing as everyone says the food is fantastic. I did not like that water was complementary on the first day only - afterwards it was charged. I thought this was a bit strange as we are in the desert. The front desk was not helpful after the initial check-in. The concierge which was actually the bell desk took care of cars, maps, recommendations for places to visit. They were very helpful overall but not as forthcoming with information unless asked. I recommend this hotel but with my reservations. I would stay again if i were in this area.

Overall high standard. Buildings blended well into the environment and we had some loveley walsk locally. Let down by some aspects of service. Staff removed our cake and milk for no reason and these were only replaced after two reminders. Toilet was not well cleaned. Everything was moved around in the bathroom. Not eco-friendly to remove partially used cosmetics and replace all the towels: they would have been good for our entire stay. Lighting so low in the main building it was impossible to read. Toilet lighting so dim as to be dangerous. Slow service to get coffee at breakfast. Food fabulous.

Made a completely unnecessary hassle to split the bed into two beds. Proceeded to tell us that we never requested two beds, then when presented with our booking to the contrary did not apologise. Further, meat restaurant and buffet was quite appalling, chewy steaks and miss matched cooking. There’s not many good restaurants around. The view and serene location is the only good attribute of this hotel.

Amazing room with privet pool, comfortable bed and large bathrooms. Even though we came in July it was nice during the day and chilly at night. Food is amazing, SPA is great and relaxing. We took a walk around the hotel outside and saw the sculptures, you can also go to a sunset point (we missed that one) Cant wait to be back. 2 things I would like to see different. No cell phone policy would have been nice, people where talking on the phones in the pool area. Also, no smoking rule needs to be reinforced better.

Nice stay in a family villa, spacious and nice additional bedroom for kids.
Incredible view from the main pool area and nice watching ibexes walking around our room.
Great food for breakfast and dinner. Good portions for room service. Great kids room where they can play.
The bedroom view was disappointing, not what we expected (we had a view of the hotel, not very private).
Blackout curtains don’t block the light completely.
The outdoor swimming pools (private and common) are freezing cold. And the indoor pool should be set to a warmer temperature.
Staff was nice at the restaurants but lifeguards by the pool were rude.
It should be possible to plan the transfer to and from the hotel directly with them, since it’s in the middle of nowhere.
The room daily cleaning wasn’t a real cleaning, we had to ask to get an acceptable cleaning. I hope they maintain the hotel well enough to make it last in good conditions…
Overall a really nice family break.

The best hotel in Israel

Bottom line: This is still the best hotel in the country where I stayed. The service from each employee is perfect, the rooms are excellent, the desert view is amazing, the massages I received are excellent and so are the pools and spa.

But the hotel is less efficient than the last time I stayed. A few examples:

1. Before I arrived I tried to call the hotel. Twice I failed even though I waited 3 minutes on the line. The third time I succeeded, I received a response, courteous and orderly service. The problem was that they did not recognize my order. After some clarification they found and said that there was a mistake in typing the name. I asked to fix it but when I arrived after a few days I got stuck in the gate about the same problem and took time to fix it.
2. The hotel uses a red light at the entrance to the room instead of the \"Please do not disturb\" sign. This did not prevent a hotel employee from surprising us inside the room. This is because it is difficult to spot the red light, a problem the hotel is aware of.
3. Between the various doors in the room we accidentally opened the electrical cabinet. The cleaners know what it is and they do not touch it and do not clean behind it - not a pleasant sight.

Very friendly and accommodating staff, Beautiful scenery, very nice rooms, amazing breakfast buffet. Food very tasty. Downside: the main restaurant is serving a meat buffet in the evening and nothing a la carte we were told. This means that vegetarians and those who don’t feel like eating so much aren’t accommodated. Our group ended up in the other (dairy) restaurant every night looking at the same limited menu options. Let me also add that restaurant choices outside of the hotel are very limited as well!

We arrived in very unusual circumstances for the Negev, heavy rain and at night. The staff was slow in checking us in. The night manager was super helpful in getting things sped up when I finally complained and the day manager was kind throughout ( Thank you Shani). The resort is beautiful. We were there with out 12 and 10 tear old. We were able to hike on the edge but not in the crater due to flooding.

I was robbed at this hiper expensive hotel and mistreated by its staff. Our complaint was completely miss handled despite talking to several staff from front desk to management to security. They gave us the run around for two days, not even passing along the information from one to the other and finally told us to file a police complaint. For an establishment which charges such a nightly rate and prides itself on service their treatment was absolutely shameful, I would have been treated better at a one star place for sure. Beware.

A bit over-hyped

We were very excited for our stay at Beresheet hotel. Unfortunately, our experience did not live up to our expectations. We spoke with reception hours before check in and were told our room was ready. Upon arrival, four hours later, the room was not ready. When we finally were shown to our room, it was messy (filled with trash from the prior occupant, dirty towels, a broken sink, and various hardware like screws and copper wire pieces on the floor and bed). Additionally, our room had no view and in fact was directly facing a large construction site. We were told that it was one of only several rooms with no view and that there was nothing to be done regarding the cleanliness of location of our room. The food was good and the views from the property overall were great though. The entire experience just seemed over-hyped. We did enjoy ourselves though.
