Everything is almost perfect , but for 5starsL I must say: breakfast needs to be improved (quality is excellent , but lacks of choices ) and in a suite coffee station should be mandatory… there was not even a boiler :-(

Four great days in Lecce!

Very nice hotel in a perfect location. Valet parking was 25 euro a night and was worth it. Lecce is a great city to visit and this hotel is really comfortable. Breakfast was very good too!

Fantastic hotel in the heart of Lecce. The room was a little drab and dusty could use a paint job to brighten up the place. However, it was comfortable. Very clean sheets. The breakfast was fantastic however they don’t tell you that they have made to order breakfast, but we noticed someone else on the other table so if you go ask for an omelette, scrambled eggs or fried eggs. Overall, a great location and hotel

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Risorgimento resort from the 3rd to the 5th of June, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience.

Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by Gabriele at reception. From the very start, his dedication to providing top-notch service was evident. He went above and beyond to ensure my stay was nothing short of perfect. His professionalism and attention to detail made a significant difference, and I cannot commend him enough for his efforts.

I stayed in a Deluxe Double Room, which was splendidly appointed and exuded a sense of luxury and comfort. The air conditioning was powerful and kept the room at an ideal temperature, a much-appreciated feature given the warm weather during my stay. The room's decor was tasteful, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, guaranteeing a good night's sleep.

However, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The room did not have a balcony, which might be a consideration for those who enjoy outdoor space. Additionally, the bathroom extractor fan was quite weak, which led to some humidity issues after showers. These were small inconveniences in an otherwise outstanding stay.

Overall, my experience at Risorgimento resort hotel was wonderful, largely due to the impeccable service provided by Gabriele. His commitment to ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay truly set the tone for my visit. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future.

It seemed to be a spot for several tour operators, which I usually steer clear of. However, staff was attentive, breakfast was great and overall we were content with our choice.

The location of the hotel is perfect. We booked a deluxe room; it was spacious and comfortable. The minor problems we had checking in were more than compensated for by comping the parking (€40 for two nights) which was unexpected and greatly appreciated. While the room hadn’t been redecorated in some time, it was well maintained. The large bathroom had both a shower and a great big spotlessly cleaned tub with plenty of hot water.
My only minor complaints: while I appreciated the plate of fruit in our room, here are a couple of things we would have appreciated more. Having just come from a hotel in Matera at the same price point, where we were given two bottles of water per day from the mini-bar at no charge; here, they were €3 each. Also, at breakfast, at Matera, our waiter offered hot dishes to order (omelets, etc). Here, we would have had no idea these items were available had we not seen another diner having something and we asked. There was no menu to tell us a hot breakfast was available at no cost, and the waiter said nothing. Also, many people now have soft drinks at breakfast; many hotels still charge for it including this one (€4 for a Coke). I was pleased that in Matera, there was no charge. It can’t cost more for a Coke than to make a pot of tea, why not include it? Also, there was no juice of any kind available at the buffet; perhaps, again, had I asked, it would have been provided. Overall, a nice stay at a nice hotel.

We booked this a long time ago. We were taken to a lovely jr suite which we were very happy with but within 5 minutes we began to hear chairs dragging above our room. It turned out the roof garden was above our room. We were told they had one room to move us too which we took. It was lower grade room but we took it.because if was quiet. This was a substantial difference in pricing and they gave us $/0 valet parking. Is this far? Please advise

Not quite sure it’s a 5 star. They gave us a gorgeous upgraded room & front desk Ladies were very nice, as were the doormen. But we always had to bother them, as our laundry didn’t come back same day as promised, we asked for tea cups in our room daily & had to keep calling, asked for a large ice bucket to be filled twice a day for my husbands ice pack, and had to keep asking for that. Breakfast room always under-staffed - got my tea after my breakfast twice... But very grateful for huge beautiful room with terrace & wonderful location.

The hotel is situated right in the center of Lecce from where one can walk to all the sights easily. The room was very nice and comfortable and the staff was super helpful and patient. The breakfast spread was great as well. We were there in January, so the roof terrace was not available. Overall we enjoyed the stay.

The only thing that was special/unique to like was the location. Absolutely nothing else. This was supposedly a 5 star hotel...but it really was not. Poor use of space in a large room. Cramped to find desk space to use a computer. Furniture was very uncomfortable. Chairs painfully uncomfortable and king bed made of 2 double beds had a very uncomfortable ridge down the middle. No face cloths in the bathroom which was tired & worn. Shampoo, body wash, etc. were in 2/3 star hotel containers. Drains didn't drain properly. Shower/tub & sink. I hate having a shower in standing dirty water & soap. And my computer screen at home is larger than the TV. To watch the TV from the bed you would need binoculars. The hotel should provide them. And all TV channels were in Italian. Is that what we should expect in Southern Italy? In my opinion not from hotel advertising itself as 5 star.

This hotel is advertised as a 5-star hotel - not sure how hotel rankings are determined but as world travelers who stays in 5-star hotels, we thought this was 4 star at best....we had a suite and the living room tc was literally all alone on the wall with wires hanging / exposed, etc and the gym, well, I can't see how anyone could get in a workout there...the hotel is well located and I went for a run in town...the hotel was fine clean well located just not 5 star in our opinion...and the breakfast was average based on our experience of staying in other hotels and masserias in Apulia on this trip.

Nice hotel in great location. They tried to charge us an extra 30Euro for breakfast but they then didn’t when I had to show them that the price for the room was the same whether it was 1 or 2 people. But we thought it was a bit dishonest that they tried to get an extra 30 Euro from us. And the breakfast was not that great - not even worth 5 Euro especially for the quality of the hotel. And the restaurant had poor service and we thought that the food wasn’t that great. But it is a nice hotel and the location is great but, overall,we thought it was overpriced.
