The room with balcony view facing the Mediterranean was a four star view, but the property really needs to be upgraded. It’s clean and efficient, but again could be brought up to modern standards. The staff was all welcoming and friendly. There was a little initial glitch on the room I paid for not including the second bedroom, but that was resolved when brought to their attention. This property is on the cliff side with 100 steps to the beach and beach bar area. Nothing bad, just could be improved.

Terrible stay

Complete disaster of a stay. Did not the get the room I had reserved. Staff totally unwilling to help or try to make the situation even remotely better. Squalid establishment. Decrepit rooms. Beach “club” lounger was behind a mountain of rotting seaweed and flies. Charged for towels without being informed there was a cost. Castiglioncello is nice, but this “hotel” was a major disappointment.

Beautiful location with amazing views

Hotel is in need of a facelift. Room was small and tired, bathroom in great need of renovation, but clean and comfortable. Incredible views across the bay, steps (or rickety lift) down to the beach and great for swimming. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Sehr hilfsbereites und freundliches Personal, Hotel ist etwas älter und abgenützt aber sauber. Parkplatz ist etwas mühsam (100m Treppen hoch), sonst top. Hauseigener Strand ist etwas frech mit den Preisen für Liegen. (32,-Euro extra pro Tag).

Trop à dire. Bâtiment vétuste. On nous a montré comment tirer la chasse .
Les douches si on peut appeler ça des douches.
La cabine ne tenait plus au mur et difficultés pour la fermer.
Mon cousin a pris sa douche et pas de rideau. Le pommeau pas accroché au mur
Ils ont quand même eu la gentillesse de nous servir le petit déjeuner plus tôt.
C’est sûr je n’y retournerai pas

Cadre idyllique surplombant la mer

L'hôtel est un ancien mais a beaucoup de charme. Il est juché sur les rochers qui surplombent une baie où l'on peut descendre et se baigner. Des terrasses permettent de profiter du paysage. Cadre idyllique.
Pour le reste rien à signaler, il y a tout ce qu'il faut.

è la seconda volta che soggiorniamo in questo hotel, amiamo castiglioncello e rosignano . la posizione è da favola, colazione da 5 stelle , pulizia giornaliera , staff cordiale e attento alle esigenze, i letti ( camera 16 e 19) confortevoli, i bagni un po stretti ma non ci devi vivere li dentro, panorama mozzafiato dal loggiato delle camere, spiaggia sottostante e mare cristallino, noi ci ritorneremo, LO CONSIGLIAMO.

week end per affari e peccato sia durato poco ma ci ritorneremo poichè amiamo quelle zone, l'hotel in posizione da favola, camera vista mare su strapiombo mozzafiato (per noi) , colazione da non saper piu cosa mangiare , dolce salato freschi. camera calda, pulizia ok, ce una scalinata che porta in spiaggia dove abbiamo ammirato un fantastico tramonto,

Der Blick übers Meer am Morgen ist phantastisch, Zimmer sauber und ok. Die Dusche ist etwas abenteuerlich, nur Duschkopf von oben mit Toilette hinter einem Vorhang, wenig Platz. Terrasse ist wunderbar, wurde aber nicht gesäubert.

Hotel a picco sul mare

Hotel a picco sul mare: usciti di camera, una cinquantina di scalini e ci si trova direttamente nell'acqua, o scendendo dall'altra scala in un piccolo stabilimento balneare convenzionato: tre lettini per trenta euro al giono in agosto. Camera con grande terrazza a strapiombo sulla scogliera. Camera con mobilio \"solo\" funzionale, tenuta pulitissima da un personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Per la differenza di prezzo, consigliatissima la mezza pensione: colazione con salati e dolci, un'infinità di dolci, e cena molto abbondante, gustosa e variata: ogni sera due portate di terra e due di mare a scelta (primo più secondo) e, in una settimana di soggiorno, mai due volte la stesa proposta. Prezzi delle bevande extra moderati. Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti, e pensiamo di ritornare. Tre hurrà per il personale.

Abbiamo trascorso una vacanza bellissima,l'hotel è in una posizione spettacolare a picco sul mare,la nostra camera era spaziosissima con aria condizionata e aveva un terrazzo fronte mare da sogno!un posto incantevole,anche la spiaggia convenzionata con l'hotel molto carina!poi una sera abbiamo cenato in hotel e abbiamo mangiato benissimo per non parlare della colazione abbondantissima!ci siamo trovati benissimo .

bellissimo posto mare stupendo

sono stato piu volte ospite e' da raccomandare per il mare se si trova calmo e' perfetto per fare snorkeling
i bagni del'albergo sono orribili non ci sono servizi navette il bagno convenzionato con l'albergo (spiaggia )e' tutto da discutere danno gli ombrelloni e i lettini in posizione a chi pare loro senza rispettare chi prenota l'albergo
non esiste wi-fi in camera

Skuffet - disapointment

Hotellet fortjener ikke 3 stjerner. Betjening var langt fra imødekommende, og personalet talte meget simpel engelsk. Det er nedslidt og trænger hårdt til modernisering. Parkeringspladsen ved hotellet har kun en plads stor nok til at rumme en stationcar, (som kontinuerlig var optaget af en medarbejder), ellers skal man benytte et areal nogle hundrede meter væk. Adgang til pladsen er via en lang snørklet grusvej eller via en næsten 100trin stejl trappe. -
Hotellet er beliggende på en stærkt befærdet vej uden fortov. Vi gik ca. 1km på vej ind til byen, indtil vi fandt en mere stille vej. Til trods for at vi havde forespurgt blev vi ikke oplyst om denne mulighed. Ej heller om turistkontoret hvor der sidder en meget hjælpsom dame, som taler glimrende engelsk.
Vores balkon var super,men stakkels dem i værelset ved siden af - de havde vores badeværelse vindue ud til deres terrasse.
Stranden er lille, men pæn og ren, vi fik besked at det vil koste 16euro at bruge den, men lærte til at prisen var for at benytte strandstole og parasoller.
Restauranten var for halvpension gæster og kun åben om aften. Ellers har hotellets strand en beton hytte med fastfood.
Morgenmaden er nok den feature der var mest overraskende.Der var rigelig, og ikke kun kager. Desværre var der ingen mulighed for at spise udendørs.

cosa dire oramai sono tre anni che passo alcuni fine settimana alla baia del sorriso ho praticamente girato le camere in tutti i piani devo dire che l'ultima pero era favolosa 2 giorni indimenticabili.
qualche appunto va mosso e sono:
la mancanza di servizi per raggiungere il paese a piedi dista 1,5km e farli in quella strada e' molto pericoloso
il parcheggio praticamente inesistente se non per 8 macchine ed in ultimo il servizio spiaggia che e' in collaborazione all'albergo negli ultimi tempi e' peggiorato per il resto tutto splendido se vogliamo l'albergo e' un po vetusto e andrebbe ristrutturato specialmente i bagni ma d'altra parte tutto non si puo avere avanti cosi luogo consigliabile anzi no senno e' un problema prenotare

Location stupenda, l'hotel...

Ottimo posto per evadere dalla città. Ha la discesa su una spiaggetta convenzionata, dicono con ascensore, ma in realtà si evitano solo i primi gradini, poi ci sono almeno la metà da fare (fate conto un 2°piano). Le camere vista mare sono da mozzafiato, bellissimi affacci. Rimarrete un po' delusi dalle camere \"economy\", che è vero sono economiche, ma non sono messe benissimo: avrebbero potuto fare stanze \"minimali\", ma un po' più curate e pulite(!). Personale disponibile ed educato. Un'ultima cosa se andate a piedi, venendo dalla stazione, gli ultimi 200m sono senza marciapiede, in una curva che passa sotto un ponte: insomma da farci attenzione.

Nettes Hotel im Strandnähe

Frühstück lecker und völlig ausreichend. Viele typisch italienische Kuchen und Gebäck, aber auch Käse und Schinken. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und haben zur Meerseite einen phantastischen Blick! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht sich alle Fragen zu beantworten.
