We stayed here during a road trip as a stop before heading up north to Pisa. The hotel is absolutely lovely, it is clean throughout and even with a language barrier the owners were great hosts ! The rooms are clean and kitted out with aircon and shutters. We had a great view of the ocean from our balcony and the room was comfortable too! We had a delicious authentic evening meal in their restaurant and a breakfast for kings and queens ! We would stay here again without question

This is a nice little place that is owned by a husband and wife. They were very helpful. When my refrigerator in the room didn't work I was quickly given a replacement. Really nice people, would definitely come back.

A reasonable hotel, needs some work doing. On a busy main road, not easy to walk to beach. Restaurant was quite good for evening meal, but a little on the expensive side. Restaurant Staff were pleasant and helpful. We were only there one night, so adequate for our needs.

Allocation of poor room off-site
We thought we had booked a room with Hotels.com, but when we arrived at the Hotel La Rosa del Tirreno they informed us they did not have a room in the hotel. They explained that they had sent us an email message offering us alternative accommodation nearby. We had not received that information however, as we had just stayed in a campsite in Sicily with no working internet and then had taken a 20 hour ferry trip from Sicily to Livorno during which we chose not to use the ferry's expensive internet. The alternative room offered by the Hotel was in a complex about 300 metres away that involved walking along and across a very busy road that had no pavements. We felt we had to accept the offered room because it was after 8pm at night when we arrived. We regretted that,principally because the air-conditioning unit was faulty and since it was so hot we got very little sleep. The room also did not have any internet that we could access because the wifi password did not work. So, a bad experience for us. The big question is why could we not have the room that we had originally booked. And secondly, why had the hotel owners not said in their email to us, or when we first arrived, that the room was not one that they owned. In fairness to the owners, the room was obtained for us at a lesser price than the owner of that room normally advertised, but we were not to know that the room would be so faulty (heating and internet-wise), for which the hotel owners took no responsibility

A gorgeous hotel spotlessly clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel is ideal as a base for visiting this part of Italy. Hotel offers evening meals in its own restaurant which are very good and great value for money. Would stay here again

Non male ma costoso per quello che offre
Titolari gentili ma non accoglienti, nota positiva per il cameriere, gentilissimo e disponibile per ogni informazione richiesta. Camere per niente insoronizzate, porte da abitazione privata quindi dalla stanza si sentiva ogni rumore dal corridoio, da nostro bagno sentivo i rumori dell'altro bagno. Location comoda per raggiungere il mare in 15 minuti a piedi, unico punto pericoloso è l'attraversamento della strada statale ma fattibile. Nel complesso non siamo stati male, buona colazione servita al tavolo, cornetti assortiti e salato a la carte. Rapporto qualità/prezzo deludente, per 140€/notte mi aspetto un servizio diverso ed almeno l'ascensore.

Dieses Hotel mag ich wirklich sehr: Alle waren sehr herzlich. Es hat hier noch den alten Charme , als Italien noch als exotisch galt. Auf der Terasse kann frau gut im Schatten alter Bäume Frühstücken.Hier kann frau gut sein. die Bahnlinie zwischen Livorno und Grossetto ist nur 5min vom Hotel entfernt. das Meer ist auch fußläufig erreichbar. Der Strand hat dicke Steine und es gibt keine Banio Mafia.

Graziosa struttura,molto pulita. Il personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Sono anche venuti a prenderci in stazione, pensavamo la posizione non fosse ottimale,ma in realtà grazie ad una scorciatoia si è subito in prossimità del mare. Appena arrivate ci hanno anche offerto la colazione, nonostante non ci spettasse. Consigliamo di provarlo

Ho soggiornato presso questa struttura per 6 notti in mezza pensione, la colazione è a buffet e le pietanze servite durante le varie cene sono state tutte ottime e squisite....complimenti!!
L'hotel è immerso nel verde di una fantastica pineta. Ha un grandissimo potenziale che è la terrazza panoramica, che però è un pò lasciata a se stessa, ma comunque dotata di sdraie e sedie dove si può tranquillamente passare qualche ora in assoluto relax circondati dai suoni della natura.
La single room assegnatami era spaziosa, dotata di box doccia, finestra in bagno, aria condizionata, un comodo armadio, scrivania, tv e aria condizionata, balconcino con tavolino e sedia, nulla da reclamare sulle pulizie giornaliere.
I titolari sono persone veramente eccezionali, sempre disponibili e molto cordiali, hanno dato un valore aggiunto a questo mio soggiorno....ancora grazie.
La struttura è situata sull'Aurelia ed ha un parcheggio abbastanza ampio, il mare lo si può raggiungere anche a piedi, oltrepassando la ferrovia servendosi del sottopasso si trovano subito due piccole spiagge e scogli dove ci si può sistemare tranquillamente, se invece si vuole camminare un pò di più si può risalire verso nord dove si trovano sia comode spiagge libere che attrezzate, dotarsi però di scarpette da mare ;-)
In conclusione posso dire di essermi trovata veramente bene e se dovessi ritornare da quelle parti sicuramente sceglierei ancora questo Hotel. Un ringraziamento particolare a tutto lo staff.
