Good value downtown Livorno

Great value for money right downtown Livorno. Helpful and friendly staff. Reasonable breakfast included with helpful service.

Lack of drawer space or shelves. No elevator so needed help with suitcases, which was freely given. Also there was a step up into the bathroom, so a trip hazard in the night.

Overall we were very satisfied and chose to stay again on a return visit.

Recommendation: try the Cafe Duomo for dinner, just a short block away.

Good budget hotel.

As a place to stay for one night - we were in Livorno for a concert - it was fine. Good location for shops, cafes and markets. 2 great cheese shops nearby. Entry lobby does not give a good impression with clutter & untidiness but rest of hotel is ok. Room was clean & modern and comfortable, but noise from hard floors/rooms upstairs made it difficult for a rest before going out. It was ok at night though. Breakfast was basic but adequate. Good price and to have breakfast included was a bonus. Minor annoyance was being locked out of hotel in late afternoon for an hour. We never received an explanation.

Very good for the price

Hotel Citta is a fine place to stay in Livorno. Close to the port, close to the shops and market, and in a nice building with large rooms, wide staircases, and friendly staff. The mattress sagged tremendously, but that would be our only complaint. The Wifi was surprisingly good, with a router right outside our door in Room 109. It's a very good value for the money.

great basic hotel good location

Great hotel, easy to find, we only stayed in livorno for one night, not much in livorno itself but easy access to other destinations by bus and train, room was very clean, staff friendly, breakfast was nice, fast wifi, and extremely pleased with how honest and helpful the staff were. I left my designer sunglasses when I rang up they could have easily denied finding them but they were honest and even posted them out to england for me. Very grateful. would stay again

A welcoming and friendly hotel

We spent two nights at the Citta Hotel in Genoa. The location is great, the room was spacious and clean and we loved the family atmosphere in the hotel. We felt very welcome and comfortable there. I recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Livorno.

Hotel centralissimo a due passi dai forti e dal porto. Datato nelle parti comuni ma la camera rinnovata di recente. In particolare il bagno.

Booked this hotel as we had a very early ferry next morning. Check-in and our was friendly, but came with some surprise charges which we could pay for with credit card. Would not recommend this for other families.

Centralt beläget hotell. Promenadavstånd till de shopping, sevärdheter och bussförbindelser i staden.
Vänlig och hjälpsam personal dygnet runt. Frukosten var typisk italiensk. Mest sötsaker. Bra hotell för en kortare vistelse. Wi-Fi fungerade mindre bra.

Séjour très agréable

Hotel familial avec un personnel très sympathique et très serviable. Chambre propre.
L hôtel est situé à quelques centaines de mètres de l artère commerçante, très pratique,et de plus à proximité de la gare et du ferry.

Solo per una notte e non di più!

Notte di passaggio a Livorno per prendere una nave. A parte la centralità dell'ubicazione l'hotel lascia molto a desiderare. Vecchio e poco curato. Moquette vecchia, condizionatore rumoroso e inefficace e stanza molto poco curata. Il personale è cortese, ma i limiti della struttura sono evidenti. Almeno pulito. Buona la possibilità di lasciare l'auto in un garage chiuso a pagamento, ma con prezzi concorrenziali rispetto ai dintorni. Buona la colazione.

Strategico e piacevole

Posizione in zona a traffico limitato ma basta dare la targa alla reception e non si hanno problemi. Pochi passi e si gira per Livorno città; lontane le zone bagni a mare.
Piacevole movida serale a pochi passi.

Hotel in centro un po' difficile da raggiungere

Albergo in posizione difficile da raggiungere, perché in ZTL e nell'area del mercato. L'accoglienza è stata buona, la biancheria ineccepibile, la camera, arredata in modo minimale, era pulita, ma il bagno purtroppo era maleodorante. Prezzo conveniente.

Non avevamo programmato di fare una tappa a Livorno il 9 di agosto quindi non avevano prenotato nulla, dopo una lunga e vana ricerca abbiamo trovato questo hotel. Non dovrebbe avere neanche due di stelle, zona porto e comoda al centro ma per il resto tutto negativo. Appena si entra , se non già da fuori si vede il degrado dell'hotel era dagli anni '80 che non vedevo più un letto con le molle. Arredi scadenti e stanze molto rumorose, la colazione con prodotti confezionati in una stanza caldissima adibita a \"sala colazione \".. L'asciugacapelli a parete non funzionante, insomma un vero disastro se avessi trovato un altro hotel saremmo andati via!!

Empfehlenswertes Altstadthotel

Mitten in Livorno ein uriges Altstadthotel mit nostalgischem Charme und sehr freundlichem,
hilfsbereitem Personal. Garagenplatz unbedingt dazu buchen da ansonsten keine
Parkmöglichkeit. Ins Zentrum 2 Minuten Fußweg. Gute Restaurants in der Nähe.

Klimaanlage sehr gut, was bei unserem Aufenthalt sehr wichtig war (tagsüber 36°), Parkmöglichkeiten wenig. An Markttagen laut ab etwa 5:30, insgesamt aber sehr empfehlenswert.

Correct pour un trois étoiles en saison basse

On a pris une chambre au mois d'octobre ( basse saison), pour un trois étoiles c'est correct, la chambre était propre, la literie c'est vrai un peu vieillote mais pour nous c'est pas un critère important. La chambre était calme et surtout l'accueil est chaleureux, on n'a pas payé de parking et la personne nous a indiqué des places gratuites et nous a conseillé un restaurant juste à côté de l'hôtel où on a bien mangé.

Lagom för kortare period

Trevlig personal och väldigt bra med dygnet runt reception. Hotellet ligger väldigt bra intill stadens shoppingstråk. Tyvärr var rummet väldigt lyhört ut i korridoren och det var folk som rörde sig utanför hela tiden. Vilket var störande om man är lättväckt.

Ved en aldri så liten glipp hadde vi bestilt dette hotellet for tre netter. Vi forsøkte å booke om ved ankomst, men manageren nektet oss. Inngangen på hotellet består av en liten skranke og eierens personlige kontor som var rotete og skittent. Rommet var heller ikke rent og hotellet var helt nedslitt. En svært positiv og serviceinnstilt kvinnelig Resepsjonist trakk inntrykket noe opp. Vi syntes synd på henne da vi hørte skrik og rop og trodde noe alvorlig skjedde i resepsjonen. Det viste seg å være et av managerns mange raseriutbrudd. Vi var lettet da vi reiste derfra. Styr unna.

Godt hotel til en enkelt overnatning.

Hotel Citta i Livorno er mest egnet til overnatning på en gennem-rejse . Der er ingen udendørs faciliteter terrasse eller lign. Morgenmaden var spartansk og bestod af lidt marmelade , tørt brød og kaffe . Personalet var sødt og venligt men hotellet fremstod slidt og har måske haft det svært under krisen . Det var ihvertfald den tanke vi fik . Internettet virkede kun den første dag og herefter i meget korte perioder . Alligevel havde vi en god uge i Livorno og oplevede meget . Jeg vil dog opfordre andre til at finde et andet hotel .
Der er heller ikke parkeringsmuligheder ved hotellet . Det skal man snyde sig lidt til .
Alt i alt fremstår hotellet bedre på nettet end det tager sig ud i virkeligheden .

Sentralt i forhold til ferge-kai

Vi overnattet på Hotel Città én natt, siden dette lå i nærheten av ferge-kaien hvor vi skulle ta ferge over til Sardinia dagen etter. Trivelig og hjelpsomme ansatte. Rent og fint rom med aircondition og kjøleskap/barskap. Helt kurant frokost.
