The hotel is really good. But they gave us a room with the air conditioner broken. We complain they said it was fixed. However, it was not. We stay the whole trip with the room fluctuating between extreme temperatures. This was a very expensive hotel to have this kind of problem!

The hotel grounds were beautiful and well kept. The room was decent but the bed was a bit too firm. I like the decor and layout of the room, with a small kitchenette. The front desk staff were very helpful. The breakfast was good but can use some more variety. I would not hesitate to stay here again if the price is reasonable.

El hotel fue perfecto para las vacaciones con mi familia.
Solo tiene un gran problema. NO hay agua para tomar. Deberían tener bidones para rellenar las botellas, ya que no se puede tomar agua del grifo.
Además cuando pedimos agua filtrada, nos dijeron que no podían por política de la empresa.
Sería necesario tener disponible agua para los huéspedes.

A 3.5 star is very generous for this property. It definitely needs to be renovated. The outside of the exterior along with the interior needs some updating. The hotel was kind of expensive for what it was. I would not go back. The surrounding houses and neighborhoods are a 5 star. It was fine to walk around late at night. The beaches were also wonderful. I would definitely come back to the island.

my check in was on Sunday night,
I made a reservation on the same day, when I arrived at the hotel I was informed that they did not have confirmation that they had received payment through expedia because the finance person who has access to this information does not work on Sunday.
Short story;
I had to pay again for the hotel.

Nice room, great bed and pillows. Fridge in the room. Downside—No posted information about if the water was filtered in the complex and no complementary bottled water.
No usb or c chargers in the room-most hotels in US and Europe have them on places like bedside lamp bases

I had 2x diner in the positano restaurant and the lady told me that they did not accept credit nor debit USD cards. Very frustrating. At the check in the lady was not nice. Very rude and annoying.

Excellent property!!! Jurere area is beautiful. Positano restaurant at the hotel served us delicious food!! Larissa provided us with an outstanding service!! The room was as advertised, very comfortable and quiet at night- had construction noise during the day. Amenities were good. Pool area and grounds well taking care!!! Staff treated us very well. Good positive vibes. Breakfast met our needs. Excellent service overall!

The hotel is perfectly located in Jurere, service is great the pool gym etc. are in great shape. It’s a very nice hotel. But it could be much better with less stalinistic rules that take away the good will. I inquired for a late checkout for an hour ( 11am checkout time is stupid and I have never seen this in Brazil ) and I was told you can only ask for that in the morning which kinda defeats the purpose. They have a weird towel card system and if you don’t bring them back they charge you for the really not very luxurious beach towels. So you have to bring them back at the other end of the hotel first. They call you at 10:45 to make sure you really don’t overstay and once you did the checkout you can’t have a drink at the pool anymore since they take away the bracelet and there is no way around it. So basically a great hotel that could benefit greatly from some customer friendlier rules.

Nice location for Juruhe beach. But it took an hour to get checked in and get my room then it took 30 minutes to check out and that was very inconvenient when needing to catch my flight.

The hotel is well-located. Setback from the beach but only a couple minutes walk to a beautiful beach. The pedestrian shopping and restaurant area is right beside the hotel and very convenient. Though a bit noisy at night for rooms on that side of the hotel.

The kids club was a bonus - very friendly and energetic staff. The pool area is nice but quite congested and the adult pool is quite cold and therefore generally empty.

Property is starting to show some age.

The property was very well kept and very kid friendly. The property was well maintained and is located near a nice shopping area and a very upscale residential neighborhood.

The negatives for me were the nearby beach which was nice but extremely crowded in January and the facility was geared more toward families than travelers without kids.

No WiFi or Internet in hotel upon arrival Due to rain. Inflexible staff wanted to charge an extra fee of almost $100 USD for a 9 year old child to visit for a few hours. Locality is dead as far as restaurants, bars or nightlife. Need to travel to other towns for same. The hotel is supposed to have chairs and umbrellas at the beach but the attendant takes off if there is a drizzle. Bar in lobby unattended at night as is the pool bar if sun is not shining. Chexkout at 11 while checking at 3. If you want to stay past Noon until say 1 or 2 PM you have to pay 50 percent surcharge. Not all worth the exorbitant expense.

This hotel is great for those who wants to enjoy the Jurere beach and Florianópolis. The rooms are comfortable, quiet and well maintained, with TVs, DVD and microwave oven. Wi-fi works fine, which i think is a must nowadays. The only thing that wasn't completly fine was the service at the pool, that used to be slow and hard to get the attention of the waitresses. Also the breakfast at sometimes was crowded and the food was not immediately renewed. It general, a great stay. The location is really great, one block from the beach and right beside an open shopping, with a good selection of shops and restaurants. Nearby there is a well stocked supermarket, a drugstore and a gas station.

The hotel is luxurious and a reasonable value. The suite rooms were very nice. The only deficiency we noted was that there was a lack of good restaurants in the vicinity, especially, surprisingly, seafood restaurants. What restaurants there were were a bit overpriced. The food in the hotel was very good, but the selection was limited.

We stayed at this hotel in mid April to attend a wedding. April is fall and off-season, comparable to October in the US. The weather was still excellent, mostly upper-70s to low 80s, but some nights down into the upper 50's. The hotel was not very busy except on the weekend, and even then it was far from full, and several of the local restaurants and shops were closed. When we arrived and were taken to our room, it was directly beside the elevator. We had reserved a Jurere "suite" in order to avoid the twin beds and to get an ocean view. The view was on the outside of the hotel and not bad, but I requested we be moved away from the elevator, and was pleasantly surprised that they gave us an end corner suite, overlooking the mountains and the beach. Very nice. The hotel courtyard and the beach were beautiful, and the hotel also owns and operates a beachside bar/restaurant called Simple on the Beach, which is great because you can eat and drink there and charge everything to your room. Interestingly we found the caiprihanias to be better at the poolside bar than at Simple, but we still enjoyed everything. Breakfast was fine, and we found the staff friendly and helpful, and several who speak english. I recommend you get a car and a map if you come here for more than a day or two in order to get around and see more of this beautiful island. We like it, but if we came back we'd probably look for something else due to the high price.

O quarto, no bloco IV, primeiro andar, tinha umidade excessiva, cheiro de mofo, chão melado constantemente, mesmo logo após a limpeza. O chuveiro deixou a desejar, não funcionava direito.
A equipe de funcionários foi ótima, a recreação é excepcional, meus filhos amaram! O café da manhã foi bem gostoso, apenas as opções a la carte decepcionaram um pouco. Me hospedei mais uma último noite no bloco I, quarto andar, o quarto foi infinitamente melhor.

Na habitação 4305 o telefone não funcionava, a televisão extremamente lenta.
Fui numa competição de triatlo e não tinha nada a disposição para os atletas que levantaram antes do horário do café (ano passado eu estava em uma pousada mais simples que deu essa atenção aos hóspedes). Na sala de jogos havia muitas crianças querem usar o PlayStation e havia apenas 1 controle. Na recepção faltou copo onde tinha água para tomar. Enfim, hotel eh bom, mas precisa estar atento a detalhes.

Adoramos o hotel, área de laser, café da manhã, funcionários em geral… tudo muito bom! A única coisa que poderia dar uma melhorada é a manutenção de algumas coisas dentro do quarto. O nosso estava com problemas para fechar a janela da suite e a porta da sacada. Mas no geral foi tudo perfeito! Voltaremos e recomendaremos!

A piscina estava agradável, porém com muito cloro. Os biquinis das minhas filhas saíram verdes. Horríveis. A estrutura da praia deixa a desejar. Os guarda-sóis são pequenos e a equipe é insuficiente para a quantidade de hóspedes, o que gerou tempos prolongados para espera de barracas. Isso em março. Imagina como deve ser em alta temporada. A estrutura do hotel, em si, é muito boa, mas a prestatividade dos funcionários pode ser melhorada. Além disso, as cortinas blackout não são suficientes para garantir escuridão pela manhã.

O hotel tem uma estrutura muito boa no geral. O que precisa melhorar é o serviço de montagem na praia. Em uma oportunidade, tivemos que esperar 30min para montarem guarda sol e as cadeiras. O guarda sol grande acaba rápido. Isso tudo em março, no meio da semana, qnd o movimento é menor. Às vezes a reposição do café da manhã é morosa. O cloro da piscina encarde os biquínis. Esses seriam os pontos que acredito que deveriam melhorar. Nós demais, estava tudo ok.

Achei o quarto extremamente antigo e mal conservado. As grades da sacada totalmente enferrujadas sendo um risco para crianças se cortarem.
O quarto é escuro, iluminação fraca, travesseiros e cama ok.
O banheiro bem antigo, chuveiro com pouca água.
Café da manhã é bom, não tinha muitas opções de pães ou frutas.
Os funcionários são prestativos.
Piscina aquecida boa e piscina externa também boa.
Check in as 15h e checkout às 11:00h.

Pela infraestrutura no geral, achei que o valor está elevado.

Limpeza em geral deixa a desejar, tinha uma barata no meu quarto, atendimento ao cliente bem fraco, inclusive no bar da piscina e na recepção. Chuveiro bem ruim, antigo, os únicos pontos positivos são a localização e o café da manhã que é ok.
