If you like very firm mattress good this is a good place for you. Not to my liking. Stayed at Kosa following this stay; was more pleased.

We love Avani, but this trip the hotels both in a Bangkok and Khon Kaen seemed a little tired. In Khon Kaen, incredible staff. Everyone was so kind and helpful. I love the staff. In the room, the bed was really squeaky and seemed to need a box spring replacement. The shower and bathroom were okay, but the light was incredibly dim. It would be nice if you could increase the light in there. The mattress was firm, but nice. Overall the property was good, but walking around it seemed like it could use a refresh. But, wonderful staff and good experience. We would stay here again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Avani Hotel in Khon Kaen, a place I've visited around 30 times during my time in Thailand. This hotel is an absolute gem, suitable for solo travelers, couples, families with kids, and business groups alike.

The hotel boasts four amazing restaurants, offering a wonderful breakfast with a wide variety of options and excellent coffee. The staff are the most service-oriented, kind, helpful, and accommodating I have ever encountered in all my decades of traveling.

The beautifully appointed rooms come with very comfortable beds and plenty of outlets to charge your devices. The hotel also features a refreshing large pool with a poolside bar that serves great cocktails, cold beer, wine, and food.

One of the highlights is The London Inn, their pub, which offers world-class cocktails, a pool table, and a foosball table. It has newly renovated comfortable outdoor seating and live music on the weekends. Special recognition goes to Miss Pan, the terrific manager of The London Inn, as well as Miss Muwee, the excellent front desk manager, and the diligent bell boys and housekeeping staff.

With blazing fast Wi-Fi and a convenient location, the Avani Hotel in Khon Kaen is truly a top-notch choice for any traveler. I highly recommend it!

I have spent almost 200 nights at this hotel and every time I return, my stay is wonderful. I come with my Father, my wife and our grandchildren at least 3 times a year. The pool is magnificent and very well maintained. The rooms are spacious, immaculate and well appointed with a stacked minibar. The breakfast is amazing with a wide variety of food each morning to satisfy any palate, cooked to order eggs and omelets, pastries, bread, cereals and delectable Thai and Asian dishes. The staff is top notch; very gracious and accommodating and super helpful with any requests. And the London Inn Pub and Restaurant makes absolutely fantastic cocktails, has a great selection of wine and beer, with a pool table and very often live music. The manager, Miss Pan is a wonderful manager who always makes my family feel very welcome and at home there. Check in is simple, quick and efficient and special thanks to Miss Muwee who is always super helpful, kind and courteous when we check in! I highly recommend the Avani Khon Kaen Hotel & Convention Centre for families, single travelers and couples - it is a wonderful resort like hotel in lovely Khon Kaen.

The hotel is visited my local Thai for conventions, weddings and events and not overrun by tourists. Staff and hotel are excellent! My only suggestion to update their TVs to a bigger and more internet friendly version.
Great place to stay if you want five star quality service and facilities.

Excellent resort-like hotel with world class staff and facilities! This hotel is absolutely wonderful in so many ways!

The staff, led by Miss Mam, are consummate professionals, polite and diligent and eager to make their guests have fantastic trips.

From the moment you check in at the reception desk the staff make you feel like you are family coming back home. This is the twelfth time I’ve been a guest at Avani Hotel Khon Kaen and it gets better every time!

There are 5 restaurants on the property and the breakfast spread each morning is wonderful. Made to order eggs and omelets with a wide variety of foods that will please every palate.

There is a poolside bar and gorgeous swimming pool with a water cascade at the end of the pool. Delicious cocktails and you can order food off the menu of any of the 5 restaurants to eat poolside.

The property has a nice bar called The London Pub, right next door to their great coffee and cake shop.

Excellent staff in both places; excellent baristas and mixologists.

The bar has a pool table and foosball table, with live music and top shelf, premium spirits and alcohol.

It was an OK stay. We did not spend much time in the hotel. Only for a sleep as we are spend most our time outside visiting my husband family. It actually our 2nd years anniversary and 5 months reunion as mentioned in the booking. There were nothing that the hotel could have made it more special even tho it a 1 night stay. Bathroom amenities were missing. There are no dental care kit. Which we find that very odd. Room are okay, but did not feel that the bed sheet is new. Staffs were friendly and polite. All in all it's an OK stay. Could be much better.

First Class All the Way

The hotel was really lovely and the staff was exceptionally gracious. The breakfast buffet was really exceptional with a wide variety of well-prepared dishes both Thai and Western. A nice pool is something I deeply appreciate and this was beautiful, more than 30 meters in length. And to top it all off they had a steam sauna. Worth the extra money. Treat yourself.

On arrival I had to park quite far away, no help with my bags, arrived at check in desk, no order, just chaos, waited, while some person barged in front of me, finally checked in, not much explanation about the hotel at all.
Breakfast was pretty dull, not much of an assortment of western food.
For the price I would not recommend unfortunately, far better service and quality elsewhere.

Stayed 2 nights in a corner room. Room was ok, bathroom ok, and over all well planed interior and design. Some furniture was dirty with staines and holes. Not a five star experience when it come to room. Breakfast is good with many options. There is great choice for sallad and veggies if you want to stay healthy. Pool area good. Not much in the surroundings. You will need a car or taxi to move around.
Its a good hotel but i do not consider it 5 star.

The WiFi in the room wasn’t working and the Tech came to see if it could be fix but it would have to be fix the next day which is Monday. The tv remote is tape together.
It’s a nice hotel but these things should be working properly.
The food in the restaurant is overpriced. 180 baht for rice & shrimp. 60 baht in Thai restaurants. The staff is very polite.

The property looks tired, there are certain refreshment needs to be done: walls need to be re-painted, carpets replaced. The rooms are large, but comfort / coziness is missing. The seater bed in our room was heavely stained, bathroom douche leaked. Property appears to look of a 3 star deal

HOTEL IS A LITTLE OUT OF THE WAY BUT EASY TO GET TO AND FROM. EXCELLENT FACILITIES AND THE JUNIOR SUITE WAS WELL APPOINTED.

This is a big hotel with a 'London Pub' and 3 or 4 other restaurants, plus a number of convention rooms. As such the clientele are mostly corporate. Big rooms, very comfortable bed, nice swimming pool and a very good buffet breakfast. More than a walk to the main Restaurant/Bar/Shopping precinct, but taxis are cheap. All in all we loved it.

Do not stay at the Avani, Khon Kaen.

Terrible. Unable to sleep for the whole of Saturday / Sunday night, 16/17-June-18, because of a company group tour being allowed by the hotel until 5.00 am in the morning. This hotel does not care about or respect the feelings of individual guests, but puts the wishes of their corporate clients first and foremost and, if these corporate groups keep you awake all night with their deafeningly loud music...then tough for you.

Overall building architectural in traditional siam style ..... very much a resort, peaceful and clean. Service staffs were professional and courteous. A wonderful experience and definitely will be back
