This place has been my go too for these last 2 times i have been in Crossville TN. The sad news tho they are the Wyndham corporation is pulling out and no one has a clue to what is going to happen. So take this opportunity new while you can because starting January they will be gone. Hopefully another time share company buys the resort. I don't have enough words to how great this place is. I am very picky and thrifty with my money and this place is on the top of my list for everything on it. You can't go wrong staying here.

It rained everyday and was chilly in August haha. The living space was perfect for out large family gathering with everyone traveling from far. It was perfect for evey family to have their own space and everyone was still close together. All the cousins/grandkids being able to play together is just fabulous. The indoor pool was out of commission during our stay so that was too bad. The area is quiet and safe and beautiful.

Our room was nice, condo style, but we had a different room last time with more space which I thought we were getting again. We were close to playground and other amenities which was nice. Check in was smooth and the agent was very pleasant. However, I had to go to “concierge” to pick up our wrist bands and it turned into a sales pitch for their times share. Not cool. And not what I needed after a very long drive.

From check in to check out it was the most enjoyable experience. The front desk lady asked why we were there, and I stated husband's birthday/Mother's Day weekend. The patio overlooked a grove of trees that was very peaceful. The NOT-SO-GOOD: The bed in the master bedroom was not comfortable at all. We were there for 6 nights and my wife could not take the bed after a few days, opting for the couch, which was better, but not great. The room was very musty when we arrived, but after opening up every door and window for the first two days it got much better. Staff was not very helpful, and seemed disinterested when we told them about our toaster shorting out and sparking. The BAD: Every time the upstairs neighbor flushed their toilet, our toilet bubbled loudly. We arrived after hours, and the night clerk was \"not authorized\" to give us the wristbands that opened the doors and gave us access to discounts around town (which we later found out was their way of cornering us into a timeshare presentation). We encountered 4 employees during our stay, and although they were not rude, I honestly couldn't describe any of them as pleasant or helpful. Not sure if I would stay again.

It took a long time to get hot water in the kitchen, bathroom sink and shower. The bathroom needs updating. The outdoor furniture needed cleaning as did the railing on the porch(mold).

Even with 3 other units in the building it was quiet. Our unit was clean and the bed comfortable (the couch not so much), Check in was quick (and other than having someone try to convince us to take advantage of a\"free\" vacation at one of their other resorts) relatively painless. Although she did give me some good info regarding a vacation rental site to try. We was there for the 127 Yard Sale so was gone all day and therefore didnt use any of the amenities. Definitely need transportation to get to them. Be aware there are very few dining options (a bar & grill and a mexican restaurant) close by. There is a grocery store and having a small kitchen you can always cook.

After a week of traveling and with another week ahead of us, we were glad to have the in-unit washer and dryer, and the option of eating a couple of meals at \"home.\" We will certainly consider staying at Wyndham properties in other locations as opportunities arise.

Our stay was fantastic. We were super happy and pleased of the quality and space of our condo. We thought it was going to be a motel room. We were so pleased. We give your survey all 10’s except for one category. Our air conditioner was not working properly. Set the air temp to 65o but inside temp never went below 73o. We didn’t report until last evening there. First thing the next morning, the repair team was there.

What surprised me was the concierge STAFF unexpected sales approach and \"pitches.\" What I understood to be an invitation to breakfast on departure day turned out to be a :30 delay to be seated and a 90-minute sales pitch that I didn't know was coming. I left with a very BAD image of what was, up to then, a good experience.
