This is maybe the most treacherous place I've ever stayed in, and I've stayed all over, nice, dangerous, upper class, poverty stricken.

Staff were aloof (when present), at best. I literally tripped over the door step ledge into the door, and glad I didnt fall all the way through.

The \"chair\" was in the way between the door and the bathroom and you had to pull it out of the way to get across the room. The chair was old and peeling and was at least 30 years old. and dangerous. It sunk to the floor.

Beds were hard as a rock, and dirty.

It was obvious that the shower was dangerous to get into, stepping down and filthy. There was no way I was going to do that.

The rooms were disgusting. The pool was empty. The men sat around reading papers in the front.

As I told the woman who represented a Wyndham property in MX, I'd given Wyndham another try and was very very sorry I did.

I left before I unpacked and went to another hotel room. A Marriot, which was so so so much nicer and less dangerous.

Because the woman I'd talked to about the Mexico City Property had asked for pics (and I had them, and she \"apologized\" and said that wasn't expected of the Wyndham name), I took some this time too. And it was a lot worse. At least the one downtown had a live band in one of the rooms.

P. S. That \"multilingual\" staff does not exist. I do NOT expect the people of Mexico to learn English, but ppl in the service industry should know how to use a translator.

Reception terrible service i had to ring bel like 10 times ( bell sticks an doesn't work. I reserved a non smoking room and the room smelled of TABACO spike my allergies, the rug was horribly dirty and smelly. the room was full of mosquitos. my say was horrible i didn't even sleep due to the allergies and i have mosquito bites all over. I will never stay their again.

We checked in and it was like we were not welcome. Our room was so hot we couldn't stay in it until it cooled down. We went to the lounge for a cocktail only to find it was closed (not open all day or night). We decided to dine in their restaurant and it was just awful and took for ever. Ordered a Hamburger and a Club Sandwich with fries. Fries were cold. Hamburger was ok, club was terrible. Do not recommend this place.

The toilet didn't have a seat, so I went to reception and asked to change rooms. Their response was not pleasant, they said that the bathroom was like that because it was for people with disabilities and that I should have noticed when making the reservation. The manager's response was very absurd and she never showed her face... she did it through the receptionist.

Great stay. Friendly staff both hotel and restaurant. Good location on the main ave. Carl's jr right across the street and an Oxxo. 20 mg. drive from the airport. Excellent breakfast (buffet style). Good selection of cable channels with Cinemax and HBO included. Decent wi-fi speed. Swimming pool and kids pool but not climate controlled, so it might be a little chilled. Housekeeping available daily. On site parking available. Decent bed and pillow. Amenities available.

If you are traveling on business and need good wifi, a functional business center, or sufficient air conditioning in extremely hot and humid weather, this is NOT your hotel. While the staff tried very hard and did a great job, the management of this hotel needs some correction. As an international hotel, there were no competent English-speaking staff. So, if your Spanish is not good or you do not have a translation app on your smartphone, you will not do well here. The hotel lobby a/c was set at a very high temperature and was quite uncomfortable. The room a/c had a filthy filter and was stopped up and dripping a lot of water on the floor. Wifi was not functioning most of the time. The business center had two computers and a non-functioning printer that the staff could not fix. Additionally, the a/c was not set to a comfortable temperature either. Whoever is rating this hotel as \"Very Good\" is apparently not accustomed to good business hotels.

The staff told us that none of their rooms have heat that work in their heater, because generally they said no one uses it. Other than that, the breakfast was amazing. Customer service is great! The menu is delicious. The breakfast buffet was a pleasant change from the normal foods. I'm the center of the city with a lot of options to go out to drink, shop and explore. It was extremely convenient. I didn't get in the pool but it was cleaned every day we were there. The gym is small but it has the necessities. I enjoyed my stay and recommend.

Secure place for Americans

This property has the most kind, caring, attentive, and motivated staff I’ve seen in a long time. From the front office, security, to housekeeping and grounds keeping, they ALL do their best to make the property look amazing and clean. Employees walk the compound constantly day and night; with its one entrance in/out and 30ft walls surrounding, this place is as secure as you can get.
Only three things to change:
- The room service food was never palatable for this American. We’ve had to order five times during different stays (as most food venues are not open or close early Sunday - Tuesday) and we’ve had to pick through the stuff that’s good.
- The room service menu does not make sense. They are trying to serve American style food, but have no idea how to describe it. We speak Spanish and we could not figure out what 1/3 of it was supposed to be. The English portion was obviously translated by Google, so it’s a fun read ( just not so fun when you get your food).
-The in room carpet does not look or feel very clean. I’m not sure the hotel owns carpet vacuums (with the spinning brush) as very few places in Mexico even have carpet. It seems like the place was a former Courtyard by Marriott, so you get the gist if the style.

I got my sister and My mom a night at the hotel for mother’s day, and once they walked in they were judged because they didn’t look the part (rich). The front desk kept telling them they had to pay and they didn’t have no reservation there with them. The staff didn’t even bother to look, my sister had to call me and I had to email them the receipt so they could see it was true!!!! My sister and mom where so embarrassed. Also the WiFi never worked the whole time they were there, the jacuzzi didn’t work and they refused to give my family the free breakfast that I paid for them to have!!! Overall I will NEVER!! EVER!! stay in this hotel or tell a friend to stay what I will do is pass the word on the experience I had.

WE have stayed here twice before so were unprepared for this disappointing stay. Lunch took almost an hour for our food to be delivered and there was only one other group in the dining room. Then our room was cold. We were told there was no heat in the hotel. When we got up in the morning the hot water for bathing was barely warm. We will not stay there again.

The check in was very slow the staff was young and there was no English speaking staff. They had a very difficult time finding my reservation and said they had not been paid yet. They took my credit card in case they were not paid. There was no elevator in our building and the lights would not turn on in the room. We called the front desk and they explained we had to put the room key in the slot but the front door to turn everything on they could have explained that during our 30 minute check in. The room was spacious and clean but I would not stay there

First, breakfast was supposed to be included - they said 1 breakfast (we reserved 2 rooms f 4 people) then, toilet seat broken, then - no hot water f shower - there is no typical marking in the hallways directing you to the elevator or the room numbers - feel free to wander all over the hotel looking for your room & the elevator - there is a smell permeating the hotel which may be milled barley from a nearby grain mill. Nobody appears to know what they are doing - there must be 2 dozen other places in Obregon to choose from - not worth $90 p night, per room.

No manager on duty that night. They lost my reservation. Thank goodness I had a copy with me. Gave us a queen bed instead of king. They said restaurant was open and desk clerk seated us. 20 minutes later we still had no one even in restaurant. Then there was literally a mariachi band staying in the room next to us. They played music, partied loudly in room and drank and smoked outside our room until 4:30AM. Because they were drunk and disorderly, we were afraid to leave the room and desk clerk spoke no English so call did no good. And, they did not seem to care about the noise....and it was extremely loud. Outside was beer cans and cigarettes butts thrown everywhere when we left the next morning.
