The views from the hotel were excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The proximity to the pistes in Les Bergers were excellent.
The only couple of negatives were the room cleaning (timing of cleaning and inconsistent of refreshment replenishment) and the 20 Euro charge of 1 hour spa usage for hotel guests.

Super friendly staff throughout the Hotel. Great position in resort short walk to the ski lift. This rating would have been excellent, however, although the breakfast offered an excellent choice the hot breakfast was not hot, hash browns under cooked, cold beans, cold bacon, cold scrambled eggs. Really enjoyed the bar and staff particularly friendly. We stayed 5 nights.

Lovely hotel in a good location with friendly helpful staff. We were staying on a bed and breakfast tariff and the breakfast selection was very good and fresh.
Bar area a good size with comfortable seating and an open fire.
Our only criticism is the fact that you have to pay extra for the sauna/jaquzzi when you are a hotel guest. I can understand that you need to book a time/slot as it is small but €20 each per hour was very disappointing, we decided not to use it so can’t comment on the facility. The pool area looked clean with a lovely view.

This property is great value for money and is really close to thebest lifts in Alp d’Huez. For the cost it is really smart and the breakfast was excellent. Staff all really niceand helpful. €20 to use the spa which we were happy paying. Only advice is to get a room at the backof the property as the frontis quite noisey.

Nice hotel but disappointing spa

Really nice hotel let down by the spa which is not free for hotel guests, only fits 6 people in at a time and has to be reserved in advance in hour slots. Otherwise the hotel is great - friendly staff, comfortable rooms, nice bar / lounge area, really good breakfast, ski hire in the hotel which is only 5 mins walk to the chair lifts.

Even though we did not speak French, the staff went out of their way to accommodate and help us. Ski rental shop was in the hotel and rentals were discounted 20%. Complimentary breakfast had a huge variety of food: meats, cheeses, breads, omlettes, crepes, cereals, cold /hot drinks. Only different detail was that the toilet area was separate from the sink and shower area. Beds were extremely comfortable and the view from our room was breathtaking.

We booked a two night summer stay at Le Pic Blanc for us and our 2 children, staying in a room with a double bed and a sofa bed. The room was lovely if a little small for the four of us.

We had an issue on the first night with noise from the restuarant area below us due to a wedding which went on until 1am. We complained about this as we had no idea how long it would go on for and it really was pretty loud. The next day we were given an apology and an upgraded room to a family suite. There are only two of these in the hotel and we all agreed that the sleepless night was worth it! The room was amazing and we very nearly stayed another night. Things like this happen and it's a testimony to the hotel's customer service that they acted with such good will.

The hotel itself is fantastic and one of the nicest we've ever stayed in. Hopefully we'll be able to visit again next year. I'm sure it's fantastic for skiing but I think probably a bit out of our league in the winter :-(

Lovely hotel, shame about the spa

We stayed here for a couple of days of biking in summer, the rooms are lovely and the service impeccable. Breakfast is great with lots of hot and cold buffet options.

Only downside was the spa - we had a free visit with our booking, which we had to book separately. On arrival it was surprisingly small, and despite apparently a maximum of 6 people at a time there were a good few more than this which made it quite cramped and awkward. Also we didn't have any robes in our room and weren't provided with any when telling the spa staff.

Aside from this we had a great stay.

Fantastic hotel with great views. Very clean and comfortable. The only criticism I have is that the hotel runs a slightly reduced service at end of June which was not highlighted at booking, there were no bar or restaurant facilities. I know that winter is their main season and not sure if these facilities open at all over the summer. That said there are some lovely places to eat and get a drink near by. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again

Stayed 5 nights to do some skiing. Easy to walk to a couple of lifts. Hotel has a ski hire shop and lockers. We only ate breakfast in the hotel and it was varied and good. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was good and the view from the restaurant was amazing. Not sure we would ski again there but would use this hotel again if we did.

Local restaurants are a bit limited. If you want something other than pizza the main restaurant/shopping area is only 15 mins walk.

I have stayed at many hotels as i work in sales & marketing, so my expectation for this hotel was set at a moderate level given the low price we paid.

However on arrival the staff were helpful, gracious and courteous, my room was excellent & the bar and restaurant where all nicely decorated and the wine and food delicious.

The view from my balcony is stunning.

Its not often i think i would like to stop over but this hotel is one i could easily spend a few days & nights in given the comfort level.

A great find.

Lovely hotel close to the pistes

This hotel was close to the pistes in the Bergers area of Alp D'Huez (a couple of minute walk to the lifts). The hotel was well furnished and had a nice atmosphere. Breakfast was good. Although we didn't eat in the restaurant, it smelt good! - book a table early if you want to eat in!
The swimming pool was warm and clean.
There was free parking situated adjacent to the hotel but they also had their own underground car park (height limit 2m).
They allowed dogs - on their website it said €15 per night but once at the hotel this turned into €15 per pet per night. This was our only negative!

We stayed at the Pic Blanc end of February for our family skiing holiday. I used the reviews when booking to make my decision, so adding my thoughts for others.

Location - good, there is a free car park directly outside, and it is a 2minute walk to the commercial center and slopes in shoes, about 5 mins in ski boots.

Ski hire - there is a ski set shop in the locker room of the hotel for guests. We pre booked on line, everything was ready on arrival and they could not have been more helpful. I 100% recommend them.

Hotel - we had a family room at the back of the hotel with a great view over the valley and piste. Room was quiet, comfortable, and clean and well furnished. We all slept very well and had no issues at all. Breakfast was great and the restaurant is in a lovely location. We booked half board and I did have reservations having read the reviews. Service was excellent, we went in on the first sitting 6-45 - 7-30pm as we had our son with us and we're easily finished in an hour and a half. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was good, soup, choice of 2 starters, 2 mains, then a buffet of desserts and cheese. Plus vegetarian option, fondue, raclette etc, plus a children's menu. Bar area was good too. The only slight disappointment was the pool, closed initially then a bit cold for me after a day skiing, so only went once.

Stayed for 5 days 4 nights. Clean and comfortable. The hotel had its own ski rental area. A longer walk to the slopes but still on the main village level. This is pretty random but the coffee from the breakfast was the best I've had in the past few years.

Not sure why anybody visiting in the summer would want s room with a view over the car park and municipal gritting department but we were moved when we requested an upgrade to a much better room

This is a very pleasant and cosy hotel. Very nice restaurant with a proper four-course dinner (so much better than a buffet-style dinner). Swimming pool is nice, but the water was dirty this time (children loved it anyway). Sauna was a bit overcrowded and the jacuzzi was closed. Near to the kid's ski school. Breakfast could be better and the Internet is not the best one, particularly after 4:00 p.m. when everybody is back from skiing.

Lovely hotel, close to lifts and kids' ski school, 15 mins walk from the village which might be a bit of a challenge with young children, but there are free shuttles. Restaurant is very pleasant, but if you there is a little chance to eat for dinner there if you haven't booked 24 h in advance. Rooms are cosy and big, but the Internet in the rooms is very slow. The spa is nice, but crowded with children and they are allowed in both the hot tub and the sauna. Massage was also good. I had a knee injury the day before my massage and the therapist was extremely helpful. Overall, lovely experience. We'll certainly stay there next year.

Faded glory

Put anything up on that mountain and you get a thumbs-up. This is one of those 60's giant \"chalets\" of faded \"Great Escape\" era glory. It perfectly serviceable and fall out of bed on to the ski-slopes. Like most of Europe there are doors you will want to open to the magnificent alpine air. There is in-room internet and dinner reservation require 24hrs advance notice...skip it for the \"Pomme Pin.\" And don't miss the chaise lounges out in back: bask in the sunshine and enjoy the sounds the babbling mountain brook.

This was a pleasant stay at a good hotel. It was quite expensive but there were not many hotels that you could book for less than a week during Feb half term in ski season. Only a 3 min walk to the main slopes and the 'spa', although small and basic, was a welcome retreat after a day on the slopes. The room we stayed in was classed as 'superior' and it was a good size with room for a sofa.

The Hotel Le Pic Blanc ticked the basic boxes but didn't go much further. The room was clean and tidy but a little old-fashioned. Breakfast was basic. The pool, sauna and jacuzzi were clean and open even though the hotel had barely any guests, however no towels were provided. Customer service from reception staff was good and they recommended a restaurant open for dinner (there weren't many open at the time). Overall decent value for the reduced summer price. Don't visit Alpe D'Huez in the last week of August if you're after great atmosphere - it's a ghost town!

Hotel with great view

Our room was on the third floor and on the corner overlooking the bike course and the ski resort. It was the perfect location for us. The room was somewhat wornout from skiers' use, I suppose. Carpet had stained spots, and it appeared that the hotel was trying to replace them during the off season. The staff was very nice and professional. Everbody we came in contact with spoke very good English so that they didn't have to suffer through my poor French. The main part of the town was about a 10 minute walk. Plenty of easy access to nice restaurants and trails. There is a nice playground right in front of the hotel so if you have a small child like we do, then this is a good location to stay. We didn't try the hotel restaurant so no comment on the quality of food there.

Very good hotel, it was a key factor in an excellent holiday overall. Clean hotel, good facilities that were all working, good location only 10mins walk from Huez centre. Breakfast was nice & plentiful buffet, more than sufficient without going over the top. We got a superior room which was big and had breathtaking views. It made waking up a real pleasure and added to the whole holiday.

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel en famille, avec un bébé de 1 an, et globalement notre expérience a été positive.
L’hôtel est bien adapté aux jeunes enfants : chaises hautes et lits parapluie sont disponibles. La situation est excellente, facile d’accès, avec un grand parking juste devant.

Le petit-déjeuner est varié et les produits sont de qualité, même si tout n’est pas fait maison. Les chambres sont confortables, spacieuses et bien équipées (mini-frigo, machine à café, bouilloire). Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la séparation entre les sanitaires, la salle de bain et la chambre.
L’espace piscine est très propre, la mise à disposition de draps de bain/ peignoir et chaussons est très appréciable.

Points à améliorer :
•Accueil à l’arrivée : chargés avec bébé dans les bras, nous avons dû patienter une dizaine de minutes pour le check-in, sans qu’un chariot à bagages nous soit proposé.
•Service au petit-déjeuner : personnel occupé et froid.
•Mobilier des chambres en bon état mais ayant déjà bien vécu.

En résumé, un séjour agréable dans un hôtel bien situé et adapté aux familles, améliorations possibles quant à la qualité de l’accueil et le service du personnel qui n’est pas à la hauteur d’un hôtel 4 étoiles.

Ensemble presque parfait, accueil à la réception chaleureux et sympathique. Un gd Bravo à Rema, hôtesse de réception très souriante et attentionnée (je me suis fait une entorse…)… jeune fille qui a un bel avenir, 1000 mercis à elle 👍. C’est un gd bonheur de rencontrer des personnes si proches de la clientèle.
Seule ombre au tableau, les professionnelles s’occupant du pt déjeuner en salle : aucune communication avec la clientèle, on a l’impression qu’on les ennuie : ni bonjour ni sourire, le jour et la nuit avec le personnel de la réception!!!

Petit déjeuner très bien.
Pensez à faire la poussière sur les vitres au dessus des plats. C’est un peu dommage.

Dejligt og komfortabelt hotel med en smuk udsigt og god beliggenhed. Vi var meget glade for opholdet og kommer gerne igen.

Der var en del huller og mærker efter folks skiudstyr i elevator og på værelset. Blot bemærket. Maden levede dog ikke op til den forventede standard. Den var ikke balanceret (for meget syre).

L’hotel è in una bella posizione e gli spazi comuni sono accoglienti. Le camere poco curate rispetto al prezzo. In hotel c’è la spa ma non è chiaro né dal sito né in fase di prenotazione che quest’ultima non sia compresa nel prezzo ma prevede un sovrapprezzo. Si può accedere gratuitamente solo alla piscina che però ha pochissimo lettini e risulta fredda e poco accogliente. Vengono forniti asciugamani da utilizzare in zona vasca.
Colazione buona e varia. Personale non sempre gentile

Expérience exceptionnelle !

Je voyage beaucoup en 4 étoiles et cet hôtel est de très haut niveau. Service incroyable tant de la réception, du restaurant et du bar, avec adaptabilité, gentillesse et sourire de la part de tous. Hôtel très propre et restaurant de haut niveau. Cadeaux pour les enfants à l’arrivée et pour les parents au départ, cet hôtel est une pépite. Ne pas oublier la chambre avec balcon sans vis-à-vis avec vue sur les montagnes. C’était une expérience inoubliable, encore merci à eux tous!

Hôtel idéalement placé mais...

L'hôtel est très bien placé à proximité des pistes (pas de la partie premières glisses mais plutôt vers les pistes d'altitude). Les chambres sont spacieuses. La vue montagne est superbe.
Quelques remarques toutefois :
- La literie pourrait être revue (le matelas était très fatigué. j'étais littéralement dans un creux) en tous cas en inadéquation avec le standing 4*
- Le restaurant manquait cruellement de serveurs et n'a pas le standing de l'hotel. Sans réservation, on nous a fait attendre tous les deux pendant 2h30 pour qu'une place se libère alors que pleins de tables n'étaient pas occupées. Pour au final, nous servir dans des verres pas essuyés sur un table rapidement nettoyée. Le plat était correct sans plus pour ce niveau attendu dans un hotel \"luxe\" Nous avons mangé en 45 mn chrono, ils auraient pu nous placer bien avant sans perturber les réservations.
Sinon le séjour était globalement agréable.
