Was only there 1 night comfortable bed room small but clean. Air conditioning stopped working half way through the night which wasn’t great as so hot. But we didn’t say anything as we were leaving In the morning. Boyfriend said breakfast was good

My stay at Malibu Boutique Studios was so amazing. First of all the staff were so friendly, helpful and informative especially ALDO! He is the manager and was so welcoming and accommodating. Any question we had never went unanswered. Any help we needed from travel advice, where to shop, renting quads/cars, restaurant recommendations, he gave it all! For background we were a group of 4 young ladies and they made us feel so safe and reassured. You can get a mixture of ages which is also very nice. Secondly the hotel itself is stunning! The décor in the lobby/restaurant/pool side is so chic and aesthetically pleasing. The cleanliness is 10/10 there wasn't a spec of dirt anywhere and the pool was always clean. Rooms are tidied every day with always extra towels which is lovely! The stay includes breakfast which is the icing on the cake, fresh fruit, pastries and hot continental breakfast next to the pool. This made our morning every day! With a small walk to the strip and close to shops, this was a perfect location to stay in Faliraki, and the staff made it even better. I would 10000% stay here again, i have already recommended to all my family and friends! Thank you to Aldo and the team for such an amazing stay, if only all staff could be like you!

First impression stylish property and friendly staff, quiet location, but not really in the league of boutique hotels which have luxury linens and towels, toiletries etc. A few niggles - agree with previous reviewer about the shower, very small (I’m very petite) and kept knocking into the tap, shower curtain is too short to function effectively. Breakfast wasn’t great, limited hot food came out, but no hot plate to keep it warm? Orange juice was not fresh orange and food was the same most days, except one. The sister hotel Esan is a boutique hotel, obviously pricier. I ate in the Esan restaurant twice and highly recommend it.

Malibu Boutique Studios is a pleasant, slightly older facility. Location is near the town center, shopping, and beach. The staff provided excellent service, correcting minor problems quickly and without difficulty. Online GPS programs misdirect to the back of the property, rather than the parking in the front.

Good hotel with an amazing staff! I’m particularly thankful to Aldo, which is receptionist, waiter, barman, dishwasher, and serves breakfast also. This guy is working 18h straight EVERY DAY and definitely deserves a 200% raise whatever his salary is.

A perfect and friendly oasis

A quiet oasis yet close to restaurants and amenities. Staff are friendly and helpful and the complimentary breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Don’t be put off by Faliraki. It is easy to be separate or part of the hustle and bustle from this hotel. Plenty of restaurants and the beach a short walk away. A central location for Rhodes old town, butterfly valley and Lindos. Only 20 mins to the airport. Perfect location for a holiday.

We loved the hotel and envrioment. I mail them about late chekcout and do not mentioned about money but when wr arrive they request 6 euros for hours .I paid 45 euro for one day:) This is the only issue that i seen .

Shower was badly designed, the whole bathroom gets very wet each time it gets used. Could do with a light in the hallway. Room cleaners always come between 9:00 and 10:00 in the morning when my kids were still sleeping. I asked them to come back later and they did once but totally ignored my requests all other times. So, they did not even cared about the state of their hotel room never mind customer service! I will do them a favour and stop commenting now...

Great hotel, pool fab and lots of sun beds around the pool.
Bar food great. Basic breakfast but fine. Minimum staff but they are very helpful and efficient. Only annoying thing is the bedsheets….they don’t fit the beds well and pull away exposing the mattress…admittedly I move around a lot ! So this may not have helped. Air con great. Efficient and quiet…

Pool area was fantastic.
Breakfast was absolutely delicious, so much to choose from. However the cleaners did not clean our room on a few days. If you are not out of your room by the time they come by, they don't come back to clean it.

Fantastic little hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean. Air conditioning is a bit noisy but it didn’t stop us sleeping.
Pool area is just fantastic and so clean. Location is great / short walk to main strip with bars and restaurants. Beach at end of strip maximum 15 minutes stroll. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back

ot what I have expected

The Hotel is situated in a good place , but the rooms are very small . I booked a junior suite and it didn’t look anything like a suit .. room was very small so was the shower.
I upgraded to the private suite with the pool which was much better but still fairly small.
Cleaning services was late in cleaning our room .
I must say the the team is very friendly and willing to help in anyway they can

We've stayed at Malibu boutique studios 4 times now and every time it's been renovated in some way. It's a modern hotel in a quiet location but only 10 min walk from the main strip and 15 min walk from the beach. Will definitely be returning.

Great location, fantastic facilities and over whelming friendliness from staff. A quite and secluded location yet walking distance to both town and beach. Rooms are on the small side but provides everything you need for a short break. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Small but perfectly formed!

Lovely decor and good location- short walk to Faliraki centre and the beach. Peaceful stay, pool area not crowded and had nice choice of sun beds and loungers. Helpful staff, informal, family feel. Would recommend it to friends. Only slight negative was breakfast - poor selection compared with what we are used to and quality of limited selection wasn’t good either. But our private pool bungalow room topped it, really special and superb value!

Very artistic and cozy

A very nice place artistic furnished, cozy and comfortable. We had a private pool which we couldn't use - the water was very cold which is strange for this time of the year. (I hope they maintain it with proper chemicals but don't empty and refill after each guest.) The private pools area and the yard are south-east orientated so extremely hot. The area offers sunbeds and chairs but they can't be used during the day as there is no shade. We tried to move them under the trees but we noticed the trees are full of those insects that make loud buzzing sound (cicadas) and wasps.
The communal pool area is great, sunbeds are enough for all guests. Very clean and relaxing.
The negative points: the hotel doesn't offer bottles of water like most of the hotels do.
We had almost empty bottle of liquid soap in the bathroom which was never refilled. I had to buy shampoo.
The breakfast is good but the coffee - No.
Dear management, if you read this review, please have it mind that the coffee should be made by ground coffee beans and this substance should be used once.

My reservations about Malibu Boutique were more about the ambiguous website information than the hotel itself. The website suggested it was in Rhodes City when it was some distance away in Faliraki and the accommodation seemed on the basis of the website information to be more like a self-catering apartment. However the longer we stayed, the more we appreciated the convenience of the fittings, the facilities of the village and the helpfulness of the staff.

Wonderful place to stay

We enjoyed all aspects of our stay. Starting with a warm welcome by Evi and Kiki (Malibu is family owned). Our rooms were very comfortable, with a nice bathroom and great AC. The pool is so inviting, and it's so convenient to have a few cool refreshing beverages poolside. We walked to dinner in nearby Faliraki, and took a short cab ride to Old Town. In the evening we enjoyed our night cap with Mike, the very capable mixoligist - the best whiskey sour you will ever taste!

And when I realized I left a pair of sandals in my room Kiki was so helpful in returning them to me!

Overall a great start to our island hopping trip!

This was my second stay at the hotel. The first time was great, so returning felt like an easy choice. Overall, you get what you pay for, but this time was disappointing. On two occasions we came back to find our room door open. The cleaner was apologetic and nothing was missing, but it was unsettling. The room was also uncomfortably cold, and with no instructions for the aircon, we spent days adjusting it before finally finding a good setting.
The worst part came on our last night. At around 22:30 we were asleep when the receptionist suddenly opened our door, entering without our consent. We woke up shocked to find someone coming in. We were told our room controlled the aircon for that wing, and that our adjustments had affected other rooms. Instead of apologizing, the receptionist blamed us for “fiddling” with it and insisted they hadn’t really entered, just checked the settings. At no point did they acknowledge how inappropriate and frightening it was to walk into guests’ room at night.
In general, the staff did not feel friendly or welcoming. Asking for help or even buying something often felt like an inconvenience to them. Sadly, this completely ruined the trust we had after our first stay, and I would not return or recommend it.

Kaunis ja viehättävä pieni hotelli hyvien yhteyksien päässä. Lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä useita ravintoloita ja baareja. Tämä ehdottomasti sellaisille, jotka arvostavat siistiä ympäristöä ja läheltä löytyviä palveluja. Huone oli ihana vaikka siisteyteen olisi voinut panostaa vähän enemmän. Huone oli remontoitu, mutta viemärit eivät vetäneet kunnolla ja haisivat ummehtuneelta. Jääkaapin hyllyt olivat rikki, mutta plussaa toimivasta pikkukeittiöstä. Lähellä on myös hyvä kauppa, mikäli halusi tehdä välipalaa.

La struttura è abbastanza moderna sia dentro che fuori. La camera disponeva del necessario per stare bene, anche fornelli a induzione e stoviglie (mai utilizzati).
Il bagno forse è un po' piccolo ma comunque funzionale; la doccia con la tenda è un po' anni 80, ma alla fine non si allaga tanto, inoltre il pavimento risulta facile da asciugare.
Terrazzo ampio e piacevole, climatizzatore ben funzionante.
Biancheria cambiata quotidianamente.
La colazione è completa ma chi fa colazione dolce ha poche scelte.
Zona piscina molto bella, è probabilmente il valore aggiunto della struttura.
Piccoli intoppi (frigo che ha iniziato a non funzionare, un lenzuolo nuovo che però risultava macchiato) sono stati risolti velocemente, non appena segnalati.
La zona poi è tranquilla, non c'è casino nei dintorni, né si sentono rumori dei vicini, a meno che non siano sul terrazzo.
Struttura indicata per coppie e famiglie, ma anche piccoli gruppi di amici tranquilli. Inoltre i supermercati sono a poche centinaia di metri, per qualsiasi esigenza.

Esperienza assolutamente positiva, piscina molto bella e colazione abbondante. Camera con tutto l'essenziale, personalmente non ho trovato il letto molto comodo perché preferisco materassi più duri ma abbiamo dormito bene. Parcheggio disponibile sul retro della struttura. Abbastanza vicino al centro di Faliraki, raggiungibile a piedi in 10 minuti.
