I believe this to be only a 2-3 star hotel so dont expect too much. The rooms themselves are basic with a with two white sheets folded on top of the bed for you to make up yourself. Cleanliness for the room itself and bathroom is i'd say below par with a lot of staining on surfaces, around sink and shower with the shower head slightly damaged so it sprayed out the side.
What has drawn me back twice to this location though is the friendliness of the owner, swimming pool area, price itself and location (I enjoy my peace and quiet in the evenings).
If you like your all inclusives with room maids coming around every morning and sparkly clean rooms then this place certainly isn't for you but if you just want a cheap getaway with a base to crash in the evenings that is in a good location and friendly staff then go for it.

Thanks for a lovely stay!

Wonderful staff / owners. Extremely friendly polite and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent breakfast for the money we paid. Basic room but plenty big enough and own balcony fridge etc. Very clean. Nice pool area and sunbeds. Great things like they store cosmetics left by other guests and tell you on check in to help ureself if needed. Beach towels available. Nice outside patio for breakfast and drinks. Views to sea and easy 5 min walk to town centre. Very nice restaurant called Bridges just 2 mins walk from the hotel

Rooms with a view

We had a lovely holiday at Telhinis Hotel. The hotel is family run and very friendly . The staff are so helpful and they even allowed us to keep the room until 5 pm for free. The town is 10 minutes walk away and this means it is quiet with no road noise and either a view at the front ,which means you can see the sea, or a room at the back with a lovely view over the hills. There is a fantastic restaurant called Bridges close by. How can it be so inexpensive? Well the rooms are a bit dated but the beds are comfortable and cleaned every day. The linen and towels are changed regularly. On top of this there is a large pool which is kept spotlessly clean and well maintained. Only a continental breakfast of boiled eggs, bread or croissants is on offer at a modest cost, with as much juice tea or coffee as you may require on a self service basis. There is a a small fridge in each room but no kettle so if you can take a small one as we did it is fine. This a budget hotel that is great value for money. I have been twice and would not hesitate to go again

Not the best but ok for a short stop

We only booked this as a shower stop as we had to vacate our accommodation at 10am, and our flight was at 11pm. For that it was fine, however we wouldn't like to spend the night there. We are used to basic but this was extremely so. The furnishings dated from the 1950's or so it seemed. It also seemed quite noisy, doors rattling etc., but it was quite windy that day so that may have contributed to the noise. However, the staff were lovely, the bar area looked nice and for what we paid it was fine. The water was hot and the towels were clean.

My boyfriend and I have just got back from a 1 week stay at Telhinis, and we had a great week. The hotel is very basic, but for the price we paid it was fantastic! The room was cleaned every day, the bathroom was old fashioned but did the job, and the pool area was clean and there was always spare sunbeds. George (the pool barman) was so friendly and made our days by the pool even better. The food and drink at the bar are very affordable, with €2 beers, €4 pizzas and €3 burgers etc. The hotel is within walking distance of Faliraki centre (about 5/10 mins). We would definitely return to Telhinis!

Comfy Beds and great service

First of all let me say hi to the great staff of the hotel!:D They are so patient in every your need and you can ask for any help and they will provide you the best solution! Our impression were that they are like big family and that is why you will fill the worm atmosphere in the hotel! The location is great if you want the quiet part of Faliraki, but also very near to the pedestrian part and all clubs and restaurants. Rooms are very clean, and the best part of it are the beds, comfy like clouds. Pool is also very clean and great for the afternoon relaxation after beach. Let me say that Faliraki beach (which is nearest to the hotel) is one of the best and cleanest local beaches on the island, so you don't need to visit any other local beaches, but as for the wild beaches don't miss St. Paul's Bay! Wish you all great holidays!

They do charge for AC. Also, the hotel was in a quiet neighborhood. But it is not the cleanest hotel. There was a 10\" spider in our bedroom. Looked like something out of the tropical rain forest.

Staff is good, but...

Staff are good but they need more comforting services. Internet service in my room never exist, had to spend most of my time at the lobby; shower curtains are not available so showering made it very uncomfortable having water splashing everywhere. Never advised when reserving the room that A/C is optional, so try sleeping at 35 Celsius at night.

Were staying for 1 week in hotel - absolutley amaizing people working in hotel helpfull and polite, rooms and public areas were spotless clean, bar opened till late, nice swimming pool area - enough big. nice teracce. Only look of the building it self isn't very good, needs refurbishment. Food - we did not had breakfast, so can't coment on that, food menu during day time very limited. From menu oredered pita giross, but they did not had chicken meet for it, so they offered to make it with chicken nugets, it was ok, but definetley wasn't what we wanted. Would recomend a bit better presentation of serving coffee - it was brought in small cup no spoon no plate under cup. Location perfect close enough to walk to see side and town center, and far enough to be away from crowed and city noise.. Would definitely recomend it - very good value if you are gooing for summer break and if you are not looking for impressive building because it is very simple very basic but nice and clean.

I'll star by saying the furnishings are basic however my room was cleaned every day and linen & fresh towels daily. The staff are welcoming the air -con is included in the price ------very cheap! and I don't have a bad word to say about my stay---------also free internet service in the lobby!------although hotel is on a slight hill but well done Telhinis!!!!!!

I stayed in Faliraki for 5 days in September (the low season). Let me start by saying that the staff of the hotel is great, treating you like family and helping solve your problems (lost luggage was mine)! However, the hotel itself leave much to be desired. The description lists air conditioning, but does not say that getting it requires an extra daily charge. Sleeping with the balcony door open lets in quite a few mosquitos. Housekeeping does a good job of daily cleaning, but will not put the top sheet on the bed for some reason. The pool was uncleaned (maybe because of the low season?) and unusable. Hot water was scarce in the shower, and the hotel provides no amenities such as soap or shampoo. If you are on a budget, this is an OK place to stay, just be prepared for what you DON'T get.

Friendly environment

This hotel is old, the rooms are not nice, the bathroom did not even have a shower curtain, bur everything was working fine The big pros are that the stuff is extremely friendly, assisting us in anything we needed, including finding a good mechanic for our car that broke down. Also the price was imbattible and it included breakfast. It is very close to Faliraki where all the fun is and is located 12km away of Rhodes town, connected to it with a 2 lane avenue, really fast... We went there not caring about hotel activities or room, since our objective was to move all day and sleep in the hotel only, so it was perfect. If you are looking for a luxurious place to stay - all included, then it's definitely the wrong place to go...

Allasbaarista sai ostettua ruokaa ja juomaa, todella hyvä uudistus!
Allasalue iso eikä aurinkopetien varaajia ollut riesaksi saakka.
Hotelli mäen päällä, jalkavaivaiselle saattaa olla ongelma kuten itselle oli ennen uutta polvea.
Kokonaisuutena kodikas paikka, menisin uudelleen.

Hotelli Telhinis. En suosittele

Hotellissa erittäin ohuet seinät ja huonot sängyt. Kaikki melu kuuluu sisältä sekä ulkoa huoneeseen. Suosittelen korvatulppia. Huoneen kunto myös välttävä.
Hotellissa ainoat hyvät asiat oli iso uima-allas sekä huoneessa ilmastointi, toki sekin lisämaksusta 5eur/vuorokausi.
Huoneen ”siivous” myös erittäin ala-arvoista. Lakanoita ei vaihdettu kertaakaan/ eikä sänkyä pedattu. Uudet pyyhkeet sentään sai. Mutta joka kerta kun siivooja oli käynyt, oli hän jättänyt huoneemme oven auki. Eli kuka vain olisi voinut mennä ja ottaa sieltä jotain.
Aamupala ei myöskään kehumisen arvoinen.
En siis suosittele kyseistä hotellia.

Abbiamo soggiornato in fine settembre, l’albergo è leggermente distante dai rumori del centro (quindi silenzioso). Si consiglia però l’utilizzo dell’auto visto anche la facilità del parcheggio. Ottimo punto di partenza per visitare l’isola.

The hotel was clean but no effort has been made to modernise it. Very small bathroom with a shower that flooded the room, limestone deposits on the taps. When drunken guests kept us up until 5 in the morning, the staff at reception refused to do anything about it.

Dommage peut faire mieux

L'hôtel n' est pas loin de la mer, nous avons eu énormément de vent pendant plusieurs jours, pour avoir l'air conditionné est en supplément mais nous n'en avons pas eu besoin. Le personnel est vraiment très bien et disponible t font tout pour nous satisfaire le séjour. Le problème c'est que l'hôtel est assez bruyant, les gens parlent et crient dans les couloirs surtout les Anglais à côté de notre chambre ils étaient ivres tous les soirs. et jusque 3h00 du matin impossible de dormir. Et le lendemain comme ci de rien n'était, ils ne respectent rien, ils sont franchement incivilisés lorsqu'ils se rendent dans un autre pays. Mais rien à dire sur le personnel .

Opholdet var rigtig godt. De er rigtig søde på hotellet og gode til at hjælpe, hvis man har brug for at finde rundt.
Man sov rigtig godt i deres senge, dog kunne toilettet godt være en smule renere.

Nice and comfortable stay. Staff is very gentle and helpful. Luckily the hostel is located a bit outside of the touristy Faliraki centre and still very close to several beaches. Definitely to recommend.

Ich war mit allem rundum zufrieden ! Lage super 10 min zum Strand, zu den Geschäften, zur Bäckerei und zum Bus. Ideale Lage! ABER wer ein superchices Bad möchte und Meerblick der muss ein Hotel auf der anderen Straßenseite nehmen und entsprechend mehr zahlen.

Michali und seine Familie sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit!

Ich war 20 Tage dort und ich würde das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen :-)

Hotel idéalement située dans le quartier de faliraki MaiS en dehors du bruit des touristes et de la ville , personnel adorable , piscine agréable car peu fréquentée et vu Sur la mer néanmoins l'hôtel aurait besoin d'un bon coup de fraîcheur , la chambre etait comme on la surnommer ( rustique ) terasse agréable MaiS salle de bain vieillotte avec un bac à douche tout petit et un jet de douche sans pression et donc obliger de tremper la salle de bain pour se laver correctement , d'autant plus le miroir placer trop en hauteur on se voyait à peine dedans ! Ménage fais tout les jours correctement ! Lit pluS ou moins confortable mais assez pour y dormir correctement ; chambre équipée d'un frigo , le moins de cette chambre est Que la clim sois payante je trouve sa dommage dans un pays comme cela ou la nuit les températures son élever ! En bref assez bonne Hotel si vous ne cherchez pas le luxe

Grazioso hotel a poche centinaia di metri dal centro di Faliraki posizione tranquilla e ottima per rilassarsi. Piscina molto confortevole e personale gentile. Ci ritornerei molto volentieri per rivedere Rodi che è un'isola stupenda!

Приятное лобби, доброжелательный персонал, хороший интернет (в том числе в номерах) антимаскитные сетки, просторные балконы, до пляжа не более 15 мин, отличный кофе за 1,5 евро. Недалеко AB Food supermarket. Фактически самые низкие цены в Фалираки.
Из недостатков: старая мебель, не очень удобные матрацы (но при нас администрация занималась приобретением новых), полное отсуствие какой-либо кухонной утвари (даже стаканов)

Hotel abseits des Trubels

Da wir einen Mietwagen hatten war die Lage optimal. Die Straße runter und schon war man am geschehen. Zu Fuß ca 6min. Das Frühstück war am Ankunftstag eher mager, wurde aber am nächsten Tag wieder besser. Eine kleine aber feine Auswahl. Nur noch ein wenig mehr frisches Obst wäre vielleicht besser gewesen.
Die Zimmer waren soweit sauber. Natürlich in die Jahre gekommen. Die Wände ein wenig hellhörig, die Dusche ohne Vorhang, so dass das Bad jedes mal nass wurde. Trocknete aber in der Zeit in der wir am Strand waren. 1€ pro Strandtuchverleih - super! Die Mitarbeiter unglaublich freundlich!

Vi var på Telhinis för andra gången och kommer gärna tillbaka! Området är väldigt lugnt men det tar bara 10 minuter att gå till centrum med många affärer och restauranger och ca 15-20 min att gå till stranden. Hotellet är inte i toppskick och varken till frukost eller vid poolen har man så mycket att välja på, men allt är fräscht och serveras med ett leende! Personalen är mycket hjälpsam och tillmötesgående!

Hotel gradevole vicino al centro di Faliraki

L'hotel è situato su una collina a pochi passi dal centro di Faliraki: un 2 stelle con piscina (bella), reception con wi-fi gratis e camere con tv lcd, aria condizionata a pagamento e vista sul mare.
Io e la mia compagna abbiamo soggiornato per 10 giorni nell'hotel a fine settembre e non abbiamo avuto alcun problema.
Le camere sono gradevoli, ma arredate in stile anni '70 con mobili ormai vecchi e rovinati e con un bagno piccolo e poco agevole per la doccia (non ci sono tende o divisori per la zona doccia, quindi si allaga tutto il bagno ad ogni lavaggio), ma considerando il costo davvero economico della struttura non ci si fa troppo caso.
La stanza viene pulita ogni 2 giorni (a volte ogni giorno) con cambio asciugamani e lenzuola.
Di notte ci sono molte zanzare, ma ogni stanza è provvista di zanzariera sulla porta finestra del balcone e con un po'di accortezza si evita di rimanere svegli per colpa degli insetti.
La mattina viene servita una colazione internazionale che non abbiamo mai provato, quindi non possiamo esprimerci al riguardo.
Vicino alla struttura c'è molto spazio per parcheggiare l'auto.
Forse per chi preferisce strutture lussuose e con tutti i confort è consigliabile un hotel diverso: questo è un 2 stelle adatto a chi usa l'hotel solo per riposare la notte e lavarsi e prepararsi per andare in giro di giorno.

Städningen var i princip obefintlig, städerskan satte inte ens in en ny toarulle fast än den andra var slut så vi fick säga till själva.
Tråkigt när man ska behöva gå och säga till om saker!
Hotellets skick var bedrövligt. Duscharna fungerade knappt, inte heller ACn.
Det enda positiva jag har att säga var att personalen bakom disken var trevlig och hjälpsam, så länge dom slapp gå ifrån disken.
Åker inte dit igen!

Grazioso albergo in posizione strategica

albergo situato leggermente al di fuori del casino di faliraki, ottimo per parcheggio e servizi dell'hotel.
anche a piedi si riescono a raggiungere facilmente sia il sentro che le spiagge di faliraki.
l'hotel dispone inoltre di una confortevole piscina.

Personale molto gentile e disponibile! L'hotel si trova molto vicino al centro di faliraki, quindi vicino alla street bar e alle varie attrazioni. L'unica pecca di tutto l'hotel è la struttura un po' vecchia e il letto matrimoniale in realtà sono due letti singoli uniti.
Nel complesso è un po' spartano ma va bene come struttura per pernottare. È molto pulito e la piscina è veramente carina! Lo consiglio vivamente!

Abbiamo soggiornato dieci giorni. ...buona la posizione dell'hotel a 5/10 minuti dalla spiaggia e dal centro di Faliraki, disponibilita di parcheggio per auto e scooter,personale molto cortese.....ma scarsa pulizia della camera (formiche nel letto), molto caldo nella stanza ( aria condizionata a pagamento) ma soprattutto molta confusione la notte per colpa degli altri clienti che rientravano tardi e che erano lasciati liberi di urlare senza alcun problema.

Hotel semplice,adattandosi un po

Sono appena tornata da questa bellissima isola,Rodi,sapevamo benissimo che non avremmo potuto aspettarci un hotel di lusso visto anche la super offerta trovata in rete,la stanza pulita molto semplice e caldaaaa,però con una piccola somma aggiuntiva 30€ abbiamo aggiunto il condizzionatore,obbligatorio con questo caldo,il bagno anni 70 con vasca senza il supporto della doccia e senza tenda e l'acqua calda scendeva a piccole dosi,ma x il resto il personale molto gentile e disponibile e la biancheria veniva cambiata ogni 2gg,insomma se nn si hanno grosse esigenze può andare bene.

Leggendo le recensioni, anche su tripadvisor rimango stupito delle recensioni negative, personalmente ci siamo trovati benissimo e ci siamo fatti \"cullare\" dalla famiglia che gestisce l'hotel per 10 giorni.
L'hotel, sempre pulitissimo ha un personale davvero gentilissimo e nonostante la struttura non sia bellissima ha un rapporto qualità prezzo eccezionale.
Complimenti alla famiglia che gestisce l'hotel, sono davvero rimasto soddisfatto.

Albergo fuori dal centro

Albergo a 5 minuti dal centro di Faliraki. Personale gentile e disponibile piscina perfetta peccato per la struttura vecchia e i servizi poco funzionali. Comunque per una settimana si può fare.

Personale molto gentile e simpatico è sempre sisponibile. Le camere e i bagni non sono un granchè e le pulizie vengono fatte ogni due giorni. La colazione è essenziale ma i prodotti sono freschi e buoni. La piscina è ottima.

Lugnt och skönt hotell uppe på en kulle i väldigt lugn miljö, trevligt pool område med en liten poolbar med lite snacks. Helt prefekt för den lugna semestern! Personalen är super trevliga och hjälpsamma. Endast 10-15 min till sandstranden som va fin med enda men det dåliga där va att solstolarna kosta 4euro per stol...

Kan starkt rekommendera detta hotell för den som är ute efter en lugn och stillsam semester.

Sen att tilläggas är att om ni åker till faliraki så ät på Desert Rose som ligger efter stora vägen igenom Faliraki, utsökt mat och super trevlig personal!

Vale il prezzo che si paga

La struttura dell'hotel è abbastanza datata, le camere moderatamente spaziose, la pulizia della camera viene effettuata ogni due giorni, la colazione è molto scadente. In compenso il personale è disponibilissimo ed il prezzo vale pienamente i servizi offerti. Nota veramente negativa: assenza della tenda nella doccia.

Hotel con ottima posizione a Faliraki

Ottima la posizione,in meno di 10 min si raggiunge il centro,ma anke la spiaggia; personale sempre disponibile 24h24 e molto cortese; pecca il fatto ke l aria condizionata sia a pagamento,con un caldo micidiale tutta la giornata in stanza,il bagno senza tendina e senza aeratore, il wifi che nn prendeva quasi mai e l assenza di un ascensore per arrivare al 2 o 3 piano con le valigie.

Bodde här m min dotter. Hotellet är slitet och städningen av rummen var usel. MEN.... Ägarna och personalen var underbara, dom var genuint trevliga, hjälpte mig att ringa massa samtal när mitt kort försvann å dom lekte med min dotter. Underbara människor som gör det bästa med vad dom har

il peggior difetto dell'albergo è la pulizia delle camere, molto scarsa, unita all'arredamento vecchio e sgradevole. colazione con buffet quasi inesistente. letto matrimoniale con scomodo separè di legno nel mezzo!

Rigtig godt til prisen!

Alt i alt meget meget tilfreds. Hotellet er 30 år gammelt og værelserne er ikke opgraderede så de er på det jævne men udemærkede. Fælles facilliteterne er til gengæld rigtig fine, ældre men rigtig pæne og komfortable. Atmosfæren på hotellet er supergod, de er meget personlige og gør alt for at du føler dig hjemme. Vi blev fulgt op på værelset og fik en grundig gennemgang af alt af chefen selv! Der er på den ene side af hotellet en smuk udsigt over bugten fra egen balkon. Der er mulighed for at spise let mad og der er bar med alle drikkevarer til rimelige priser. Fint poolområde hvor man altid kan få en liggestol og en pavillion. Morgenmaden er rimelig fin men her også god til prisen.. Alt i alt er vi meget tilfredse og vil gerne tage et ophold mere her en gang. Området er lidt udenfor Faliraki men kun 400m fra hovedvejen med alt i butikker og busstop. 400m længere så står du i Faliraki centrum med alt hvad hjertet begærer af underholdning og mad.

Prisvärt hotell lite avskilt från byn

Personalen på hotellet var väldigt trevlig och tog väl hand om en. De gav bra tips på restauranger och aktiviteter som fanns att göra.
Jag hade frukost på hotellet som kostade 5 euro om dagen och jag tyckte att den inte var speciellt bra. Jag ställer inte så stora krav på frukost maten så gick fint för mig men om man förväntar sig en lite bättre standard så blir man nog besviken.
Reception och bar var öppen 24/7 vilket jag tycker är bra och så hade de ett helt ok pool område.
Hotellet ligger en bit ifrån strand och centrum men tyckte inte att det spelade så stor roll. För priset man betalar så tycker jag att det är värt att promenera i 15-20 min.
