Everything else was good or great, especially the gym, breakfast and the way the hotel was designed, but my bed was a bit bent down. Felt like the mattress had seen its best days already. Overall a very pleasant experience however.

Not an international hotel

I know it sounds little poor but no one in the hotel spoke any english.i stay for 5 days at this hotel and for an internation hotel to only have chinese speaking staff is a little wired. Its not that i expected them to speak english but i could have managed with french, Italian or spainish. Should change the name to Grand Skylight Local Hotel.

It wasn't bad but could be better the amount of money we paid through Expedia. Overall it was satisfactory.
Hotel is far away from the Main Shenzhen city, commuting is much easier on Metro then using Taxi.

Good Hotel to sleep at, not to eat

I will start off by saying the hotel and rooms are great. DONT EAT THE BUFFET. Its overpriced trash. All the food was dried out and bad and not worth the price. Very bad compared to other buffets. The food at the Cantonese restaurant was delicious but the service was trash. They got our order wrong 3 times and every time the waitress didn't see us so we would have to get up and find someone to help us. Really bad service in the Tai Chi restaurant. If you must eat at the hotel, eat there. Not much around the hotel. The bus stop is around the corner and okay, not to horrible depends on how used to China you are. If you are new to china and want to drink a coke don't drink the overpriced stuff in the room, go to the grocery store down the street. The coke was 27RMB +17% tax for a can of coke. A can of coke is 2 RMB with tax included everywhere else in China.Don't get ripped off just for convenience.

Room was clean. Hotel staff was nice. The virtual driving range didn't work If you're going here to sleep and be away from people its great. I would stay here again, just know now not to eat the buffet or bother with a taxi that won't ever come.

I honestly want to talk worse about the buffet. Standing in line to get bbq chicken the guy ignored me (speaking mandarin) and gave it to an older lady speaking cantonese that cut in line. Everything about the garbage buffet was infuriating and left us upset. That's honestly the worst part of this hotel.

We were there for busoness and this hotel is very centrally located for us to travel to different meeting venues. The staff is friendly and helpful, and rooms are clean and confortable. Highly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel but pool was empty

The hotel was clean, breakfast was good and the staff were friendly however the pool being empty was disappointing. One of the reasons we booked the hotel was that it had a nice size pool and we were looking forward to a swim after work. To be honest, it is a case of false advertising because the hotel proudly displays photos of the pool even though the pool is empty all winter (winter temperature in Shenzhen is actually pretty warm, we had mostly 25 degrees).

Nice hotel with all that you need including a nice Resturant.
There is really nothing around in terms of food or entertainment.

Note that this hotel is far from downtown so unless your business in close by you might want to look closer to downtown

service was lacking which should not be the case for a hotel of this age and location. faced several issues; a/c not working in two different rooms, miscommunications on pool usage, late laundry, and a broken coffee machine nearly every morning. it's a nice condition and comfortable hotel but service makes this a 4 star stretch.

Great experience!!!

This was likely the best hotel experience that I've ever had. The staff was enormously helpful. This was my first trip to China and this hotel (particularly the staff) made it so easy. The only slight downside is that the hotel is far from the downtown area where more is going on. But I did find that a short walk leads to plenty of food, shops, community activity so it really isn't bad.

Great value and confort.

Had a 5 night stay for business at the hotel. This hotel offered very good value for the money especially given the 5 star rating. Hotel looks good, has generally good condition but as many other things in China is just missing the little extra it needs to be world class:

- General moisture smell, I guess common to many hotels due to humid environment. Ventilation should be left on and cleaned appropriately to environment.
- Bathroom floors / surfaces didn't seem to be cleaned appropriately. I did not mind but others might.

The good:
- Breakfast was really good, cannot comment on the dinner buffet since I did not need to use it (and even then seemed quite expensive!)
- Good WiFi connection speed/signal.
- Comfortable and large room
- Nice shower

Great for a business stay in the Guanlan area

Perfect for business travelers use to staying in internationally acceptable facilities. Leaps and bounds ahead of most hotels in Longhua/Guanlan. Food could use some work, but edible and safe.

If you are a business traveler who doesn't need activities in walking distance at night, then this hotel is a great choice base on value/price. Not to mention the hotel is only 2 years old and is very very clean. However, if you want to find places to eat or shop, it only take you about 20 min if there is no traffic. The selection of breakfast is limited but it is ok. I will stay in this hotel next time if I visit same supplier in the future.

Very petty...

I arrived at the hotel @ approx. 8:15 and since I paid for the executive package wanted to get something to drink. Their was a bottle of Vodka (which is the only alcohol I drink) and had two quick drinks. The next day when I went to the club room I was informed that they decided to now charge for the Vodka which is not how the package was done but they said it would be ok for my stay since that was suppose to be included in the room rate. At that point I went to have a drink and there was very little in the bottle and when I asked if they could replace it they told me there was none in the hotel which was a complete fabrication since they had a huge bar in the lobby. When I came back the next day and for the rest of my trip there was no Vodka. So instead of charging me they just did not bring it out. Though it may not seem like a big deal it was just the wrong way to handle this. I emailed them to let them know about my situation and they did not respond nor when I called to speak to a manager about this they never called my back. Though the hotel was nice and when I arrived the room was clean the days I stayed the room was not cleaned properly and they left dirty glasses and the garbage was not changed.

Beautiful, well appointed room and bathroom on the Executive Floor, which has a small business center linked to the executive dining room. Very nice hotel with attentive and friendly staff, but I would be remiss not to mention some [relatively minor] disappointments: mediocre shampoo/conditioner, bathroom was clean but not spotless, executive dining room offered a rudimentary breakfeast buffet by Asian standards, ordered a Bloody Mary which took over 10 minutes to prepare (apparently it took some time to find the ketchup - yep, the ketchup... and my subsequent request for a vodka tonic caused major consternation: what on earth could possibly go into a vodka tonic???). I am confident that this hotel will improve on these little problems and the bottom line is that I will definitely stay there again.

This hotel it really a new one.. it has now one month... and it is really nice!!

The hotel it is very nice, and new... the room it is very comfort, and the lobby of the hotel it is big , modern and nice.. it has a restaurant, and a coffe loby. The surrnding area it is no so nice but the hotel is beatifull.

Hotel staff friendly. Reasonable English (and one European employee on front desk speaks excellent English). Room Good. Breakfast - buffet needs some work to appeal to Westerners (as do most hotels in China) but they have a good bespoke fry-up area. Location is on the edge of Guan-Lan (and that is a good thing!) handy for the Expressway (go via the Technology park from the Hua Wei exit to avoid traffic). I have stayed twice now and both times have been good.

No night Life. Spa not up and running yet (but I imagine it will be good when it arrives).

I'm a seasoned traveller in China and this was a good experience - if a little quiet as the hotel has only just opened.

値段のわりに中国ローカルクオリティー

出張で４泊しました。
朝ごはん、６時半にスタートですが、６時半には料理は半分くらいしか準備ができていません。ラーメンカウンターのコックが愛想悪く、作ってくれと言っても無視。
コーヒーマシンは動いてないこともある。

十分ほど歩くと繁華街らしきものがあり、レストラン、ショッピングできます。

ベッドメイク、二日目に髪の毛残ってました。

フロントスタッフは親切です。

직원들은 친절하고, 아침 식사도 훌륭하였습니다.

호텔이 위치한 곳의 특성 상, 주변 편의 시설은 없었습니다. 출장이어서 주변에 편의 시설이 없는 것은 크게 문제가 되지 않았습니다.
그러나, 방에서 곰팡이 냄새가 많이 납니다. 냄새를 없애기 위해 에어컨을 강하게 틀었으나, 에어컨의 성능이 만족할 만하지 않았습니다.

I found a tiny insect on my chest when I woke up from my bed in the morning. I wasn't aware what it was and naturally killed it and blood came out. Gosh!!!!!
