Though the hotel location, room, amenities front staff and restaurant service were nice,
the bedsheets did not look like they had been changed, and when housekeeping was called by the front desk, they never came, though they told the front desk they did which was not true. Some hotel guests were extremely loud at various hours of the night, walking up and down the hall, banging and knocking into the door, as well as having a loud party with karaoke in their room, making it un difficult to sleep.
Unfortunately, this took it away a lot of points from this stay

I was not happy kids running back and forth in floor above and my card did not work right when I first got there and phone didn’t work everything was eventually fixed but noise never really stoppped I won’t stay there gain and there should be a few things for breakfast you can get free both my mom and I are on fixed incomes

My stay there was almost a disaster. When I checked in, I was given a handicap room. It was late, I was tired, so I just went to bed, with the intention of fixing this in the morning. The front desk told me I had chosen a handicap room option. I hadn't. I was then told that when a reservation is made through Expedia, they automatically change the room option if the type you requested isn't available. The Hilton wouldn't change my room until checkout time for the day before (11 AM), just the time I needed to be somewhere else, the whole reason for the trip. I was very upset, but they wouldn't budge. Then, 20 minutes later, I was informed that he was able to override the restrictions and could put me in a regular room immediately. So, good for Hilton. Not so good for Expedia.

We had a spacious 2 bedded room, clean, quiet, facing the back of the hotel, away from the roads.
Pool is small, but open out of season.
Restaurant has limited menu, but the food is good. A car is needed to find other restaurants in the area, there is nothing within easy walking distance.
For shopping the Tanger Outlets are very close by, the town of Riverhead is a 10 minute car ride.

It was nice and quiet at the hotel. Convenient stay for if you are going to the winery and outlet. I didn’t really like the food. The waffle was hard to cut into, the scrambled eggs were runny, and the fruit was old. The AC made a loud buzzing noise at 3am that woke me up the first night. The hotel said they fixed it but it still made a buzzing noise the next night. They staff cleans the rooms every other day so they never came to my room to clean. I had to ask for extra towels because they only gave 1 set. This was my second time coming here. Last time I came was in 2019 but I won’t be back

My previous stay there I had a fold away bed for one of my children in a 2 queen bed room no problem . This time I show up and they tell me we don’t provide such a thing and made me feel like I was making it up. My son is autistic and without to many details he needed a fold away bed. Last visit it wasn’t a problem This time I requested it in my reservations along with enough towels . I arrive to be told they don’t read those requests from third party against (aka Expedia) and they don’t do fold aways. I tired to find another hotel (I would rather pay extra to another company at this point ) but none avail. I was stuck . So I went to Walmart and bought a blow up twin mattress so my autistic son could sleep . I call front desk for the extra towels and was told he would send housekeeping right away. 3 hours later nothing. I send my other 2 kids diem to desk to get towels . Manager tells them they were already sent to the room. I call the desk . I never left room .. no one dropped off towels and no towels outside door . I call the desk again. Manager tried to double down that the housekeeper said he dropped them to the room . Well none did ! 5 min later. Housekeeping shows up with the towels and the manager was right behind him. I said , oh there they are finally . Housekeeping apparently likes to not work and lie to their boss. I was just hourly annoyed because I arrive after driving 15 hours with my children to be forced to go buy a bed and fight for towels

Everything was great except the WiFi. If you’re a traveler with a gaming console of some sort then I’d recommend the Marriott or Hyatt. You cannot use an Ethernet cable for wired gaming due to their security with the WiFi. Also to even connect your game I had to contact their IT Support for their internet provider to even get access for my Playstation 5 to which the WiFi was horrible still. Other than that the stay was fine

This hotel was very nice! The location is right off the highway and on the main road so it’s not scenic but it’s very convenient for getting where you need to go in the area. The hotel itself looked newly renovated, the beds were comfortable, and it was quiet at night. Good fitness room and breakfast too. Would stay again.

Not a Great 2Day Stay

Our TV didn’t work the first night but we were way too tired to have engineering come up to fix it so we just did without the first night. It was also VERY WARM in our room and we couldn’t turn the thermostat to cool. The next morning the coffee machine didn’t work and we told the front desk as we were leaving for the day about the issues. They fixed the air conditioner but the tv was still not working properly and they did nothing about the coffee machine. We had our room cleaned and the house keeper forgot to leave a new bath mat and replace the box of Kleenex. The night manager changed out the coffe machine but didn’t replace the tea and I don’t drink coffee so I had nothing to drink the next morning. The hot tub wasn’t t very hot and the towels were very small for the pool and hot tub

The property is undergoing extensive renovations and this was not clear before we booked. It smelled strongly of construction and paint and there was no restaurant even through site said there was one. Fire alarm woke us up in morning, was caused by construction. I am sure it will be very nice once finished but should not have been open.

The hotel was under renovation and nobody bothered to let me know that the place was full of dust elevators were dirty and taped up and it just was not an experience that I needed to pay as much money as I paid for I had planned on having dinner in the restaurant only to find out that the restaurant was under renovation as well they had a makeshift room that they were trying to pass off as a restaurant with the bar but it just was substanding so I ended up having to go out at night in the cold in the strange place when I had planned to be in a hotel where I could have dinner and be in for the entire evening and not go out I am presently trying to get in contact with someone at the hotel only to not have anyone answer the phone in the so-called lobby of which there was not one but I certainly feel that I should be compensated somehow for my stay and certainly not expected to pay full price and also I was under the impression that hotels.com was a place to go to to get a better price in your reservation only to find out that you charge me about $50 more than the hotel itself would have charged me so I will no longer be dealing with your service again

We stay at this hotel every year when visiting the wineries around Riverhead for celebration my friends birthday, but this time I was extremely disappointed. Expedia did not inform me that the hotel was undergoing renovations in multiple areas, resulting in a lot of dust everywhere. The pool and jacuzzi were out of service due to the construction.

The service from the staff was not the best, and honestly, the breakfast was also not at its usual standard. Unfortunately, this stay was quite disappointing.

On a positive note, the third floor has already been renovated, and it looks beautiful. I hope that by next year, everything will be completed, but I would have appreciated more information in advance to avoid any surprises.

I gave them two starts because the room was exceptional. The room was great and so was the service. My complaint is that the hotel is under renovations and nobody wants us before checking in. My son really wanted to go to the pool but of course the pool was out of service. We were told to use the outdoor pool that is heated but the only way to get to it is thru the main lobby out the door walk to the gate that was locked and my key didn't open it. You know walking on the hotel on your bathing suit is a bad idea? The hallways and lobby are full of construction workers. How was I supposed to use the other pool? How am I supposed to get to it. My son was very disappointed. If the hotel is doing renovations and the facilities aren't available the should send an email in advance. This was a terrible experience

I had 'dinner' at the bar. Just a chicken sandwich which was not especially good. Chicken had FAR to much breading and the chicken was overcooked. I was starved. Hadn't eaten all day. I ate it and left.
