My stay at ASHLEE Heights Hotel Patong was disappointing overall. The room quality was not good and did not justify the high price. The bed did not even have a headrest, which made it uncomfortable. There was also no view from the balcony, which was very disappointing.
The hotel charges highly for what it offers. No complimentary water bottles were provided in the room, which is basic for most hotels. The room service was very poor and unresponsive.
There is only one lift in the hotel, and it is extremely slow, causing long waiting times. At check-in, the hotel required either my passport or a 2000 baht cash deposit as security, which was only returned after room inspection at checkout. This process felt inconvenient and unnecessary.
Overall, the experience was not worth the price, and I would not recommend this hotel based on room quality, service, and facilities.

Is ideal if you want to stay in the main bit which is Patong however the hotel itself is basic.
We stayed 5night and not once the staff replaced our towels despite being asked luckily our room had a washing machine
One evening we decided to have food ordered and delivered to our room which was a disaster
Food came stone cold then the staff was expecting us to use the microwave to reheat food but turned out our microwave didn’t even work!Up until then we had no reason to even use it.We then requested to have the food taken away and a refund which was again difficult had to wait till the next day afternoon to have our money back.
The staff seems lack of understanding what is going on and takes a long time to respond
House keeping does check room daily and make beds etc but that is it we stayed 5night and not once we had any cleaning done or replace of towels

No happy hour at the pool like advertised. Halls and elevator a bit dingy. Room was made up each day but bar not restocked. Water was free. Lobby and coffee shop were nice but if I had to do it over again I would skip Patong and Phuket all together

Property was very clean and in good repair. Staff are very helpful and friendly (despite the language barrier). Breakfast is not exactly to western tastes in many cases, but egg station is good. Pool is small and not many sun beds, there was also many \"reserved\" with towels for much of the day, which could do with addressing. Overall a good hotel in decent location

No Frills, but Clean and Affordable.

Stayed for a week over Christmas holidays. This is a no frills hotel with a decent location far enough from the action for a little quiet but only close enough to walk to everything. The rooms are big and clean. The rooftop pool is nice, not as fancy as the pictures make it seem. There is a bar up there but it's small and not really like a bar. The service was strange. We traveled from the US which took us about 2 days with a lengthy layover. We arrived at the hotel 2 hours before the check in time so they charged me 200 Baht for checking in early. I get that there are rules, but seriously.. $7 and the room was ready anyways. Not a warm welcome. I brought food home one night and didn't have a fork. I figured I could borrow one from the restaurant downstairs. They made me put down a 100 Baht deposit lol. Because of the language barrier there isn't much point in arguing these points with them but even though the staff was friendly enough it still cheapened the experience. Breakfast was good, eggs and pancakes made to order, lots of bread and fruit, wish there was bacon. I'd stay again if I couldn't find a better deal elsewhere.
Walking note: The main street you have to cross to go anywhere is somewhat terrifying to cross. Not the hotels fault but worth mentioning if you're a little older or have mobility challenged.

The spot was conveniently situated from everything. 10-15min walk to the Patong Beach, Bangla Street and from a number of really great restaurants. The staff were always so polite, always bottles of fresh water available. breakfast buffet was ok - it could have done with more variety.

The only issue I had was that when we left our room during the day, taking your hotel card turns everything off, meaning AC off so room was stifling when returning, which attracted heaps of cockroaches. I get it, being in a not so clean part of Patong, but I wasn’t impressed with that. Other than that - it was really lovely. Totally rate the staff - always pleasant and so lovely

This is the worst hotel that i have ever stay in Thailand! The check in experience is super bad where we waited for 1 hour to put on an extra bed. The staff seems frustrated when we checked in at 11pm due to flight delayed. When we go in the room, we are greet by 2 cockroaches, yes COCKROACHES! and the hotel smelled like some parts are with mold.

First day breakfast was OK. After all there's not much choices. 9am in the morning and the food was left with leftovers. Food wise, not much choices. Staff was OK. Experience in hotel was alright. But however, every morning, lots of door banging and slamming from other rooms that belonged to other occupants that mainly came from China. Sure other hotels may experience similar situation so it isnt the hotels' issue.

Adding on, a china family allowed their son to pee into the drain by the side of the wall at the pool area. It was really unacceptable when the family did not bother to at least wash the pee off the wall.

Exceptionally bad service counter staff at check-in, playing with his hp whilst processing my check-in and ask me to wait! Location was quite tough to find for someone not familiar even with a GPS! Room was spacious esp for the 2 bedroom suite with own toilet and balcony, however the bed was quite hard and pillows quite thin. Buffet breakfast menu changes daily and taste not bad. Roof top swimming pool was small and dirty. Location is not within walking distance from jungcelyon mall and beach. Only friendly staffs are the cleaners! Will not recommend for people who don’t drive!

Considering this is one of the newest hotels in Patong the rooms were horrible and needed a lot of attention. The pool looks amazing in the photos, but when you see it is real life you can tell how strategically they were taken. The rooms had shower over bath but no curtain or door so the water went all over the bathroom! It was impossible to stop it flooding the floor and the sink and toilet. None of the TV Chanel’s were watchable as they were all fuzzy.

Hotel does not provide any free shuttle anywhere. However they can arrange for you, 200baht for a taxi to areas around Patong but you can actually just walk to Patong, about 10 -15mins walk. In about 5mins towards patong, you will enter busy area of patong. Clean and spacious rooms, good service.

Even though it was about a ten minute walk to the beach it was still close amongst the shopping centre, street food market, stalls etc...
The family suite room was very spacious and clean.
The pool was nice but the surrounding was old , rusty and unattractive. There was an unnused bar and the one time that it was attended so that we could enjoy a beverage by the pool , it was the biggest disappointment. Not only it took a long time for our cocktails to arrive as they prepared it from somewhere else but there was no alcohol in it and the taste was disgusting. Expensive and undrinkable.
The most important thing that I wasn’t happy about was the receptionist poor level of English.
There was only one out of four that spoke a little bit even though we had to repeat several times to be understood.

after a second stay within the month (24 nights) the hotel not a good as it is on paper.
The room was big and the washing machine was great. The bathroom with a tub is nice, but at cost of a small shower.
The maintenance is poor at best..
- mattress is dirty with all sorts of stains... I guess that is the reason for mattress cover to hide the mess.
- Bed Linen isn't always clean... one day the sheets were dirtier than the old sheets.
- The pool area is untouched for years... unpainted and rusty metal. The concern I had was the wiring for the submerged lighting. To the untrained eye, the wires shouldn't be visible because of risk of someone pulling at them. also it looked like normal domestic wiring, I would have expected a special water type wiring.
- Car park is a pain... basement with a separate exit ramp to the entrance. Majority of the time the ramps are blocked by deliveries or pickups. As for motorbikes they tend to any ramp... a few near misses with motorbikes exiting via entrance at speed.

The staff come across as mechanical and cold... not a smile to be seen.

The star rating needs to be dropped to 3 stars at least.

Good hotel, but there are issues

Overall it's a good location with great business (restaurants, stores, etc.) within easy walking distance.
In general the staff are good, but if you move off script (ask for something out of the usual) they are confused and this leads to what the western world call boardline rude.
Breakfast is hit and miss depending on the guests... e.g. I put bread in the toaster twice and waited the aloted 2.5 minutes. When I went to retrieve the cooked toast it was gone and replaced with fresh bread. Another guest took it. The staff appear to have no interested in monitoring what the guests are doing.
The fact the hotel only has one small lift can be an issue. On a number of occasions staff took the lift instead of letting guests use it. Likewise some guests dont release that people are waiting and jump the queue... in full view of security standing beside the lift.
I would say the hotel has potential if the staff were trained a little better and the areas of the hotel that are run down were refreshed.

Some of the hotel staff took advantage of my friends and I. They charged us way more money than our reservation stated and when we tried to argue it the manager basically told us we would not be able to stay at the hotel and we wouldn't get a refund. So obviously since we were halfway around the world and didn't have a choice so we paid the extra couple thousand baht. There was only one staff member that always actually trying to help us, the rest were just trying to rip us off and we're extremely rude about it. I would definitely recommend looking into another hotel in the area.

Good for what you pay.

Overall a great budget no frills hotel. Just a short walk from the main attractions of patong.
Don't expect any first class service here.
There are some small ad hoc issues such as poor taps in the bathroom spraying water all over the floor and yourself. There is no shower curtain and an extra small television.

Very disappointed as I expected a nice stay however staff weren't very interested and only became interested when money came out! Black hair was filtered throughout my room, the washing machine didn't work properly and after calling and requested someone to look at it nothing happened. I booked a taxi 24hrs in advance to the airport at 6am for an early flight and paid for it then, nobody called the taxi and I had to wait 20 minutes for another taxi. I had a steak for dinner at the restaurant which was very badly cook I'm assuming left over microwaved! Never will recommend or stay at this hotel again!

Tired but well equiped Hotel in good location.

This hotel is a hotel of two sides. One side with a nice outlook and the other with no outlook that looks straight into the neighbouring hotel. If staying for a length of time make sure you book the deluxe or premier units. When we arrived the rooms we had booked were not available and were offered the cheaper rooms, but on firmly rejecting these, we were upgraded to premier units which we were more than happy with. Very roomy with washer/dryer and large fridge.
When we booked this hotel it was promoted as a brand new hotel, but it is actually an old hotel with some renovated areas.

Once we reach there, the security guard was good, he brought our luggage to room and talk to us make us feel comfortable . He even manage to help me talk to the taxi driver because of different language. The room is clean, we got a king bed and single bed as well , is spacious enough too. Overall is good! Was the perfect stay (apart from the shower door)

Everything about this hotel was perfect, friendliness of the staff was amazing although there was a slight language barrier, every problem we had was sorted or swiftly.

Room was a great size, especially for the price, with daily housekeeping which go out their way to help you! Only problem was the shower door which wouldn't stay closed (room 601), wasn't a problem a towel couldn't fix, just a slight inconvenience!

Overall a very nice stay and would 100% reccomend to all friends and family :)

Be careful with room service also they will ask you to pay cash when they deliver to you and then at check out reception will charge you again! Also view room the roof top pool is nothing like pictures that they advertise with.

The receptionist is very friendly, the service is good. Saw many negative reviews about this hotel regarding the pool towel. The room service clear 1 of our pool tower so we gotta ask for 1 more if not they will accuse us for stealing like the others. They even ask where is another towel, it's obviously the room service have to clean up. But who would want to steal their things since its not even a big hotel or those 5 stars. Overall the price is cheap, with bathtub and pool. Everything is good there except for the room service, for 2 days doesn't clean up for us. And doesn't clean properly too. Service I can say excellent and friendly.

Decent hotel - Relaxing pool

Location wise it's pretty ideal. Just off the main road (Thanon Ratuthit Songroipi Rd) so you can actually sleep without the crazy nightlife disturbing your sleep. Very close to Patong beach (approx 10 mins walk). Loads of shops and food outlets nearby.

The hotel itself needs to be looked after and maintained much better (a refurb wouldn't be out of the equation). Cleanliness of rooms and furniture needs better care from the hotel staff/management. Beds could do with new mattresses as they seem to very close to being worn out. Majority of the hotel staff can't speak any English or at best a couple could only speak with very broken English so it can be hard to communicate especially in case of any emergency. However, the staff are all friendly.

I wouldn't classify the hotel as 4 star, I think 3 stars is more accurate. Again, decent place to stay, just slightly above average.

Of all the hotel staff we interacted with, only two were polite and helpful. Unfortunately none of them spoke great English but that's understandable. Hotel claimed online to have 3 pools but only had one on the roof which was poorly kept with fairly dirty water. The pool bar was non existent. Location was perfect, access to restaurants, beach and shopping centre. When the 'cleaned' our room they failed to actually CLEAN many times. Two nights in a row they made our bed without changing the sheets. Balcony door would not fully close, so insects came in at night and we were bitten many times. Buffet breakfast was poor when compared to the external restaurants we later visited. Water in bathroom was warm but never hot. Hotel claimed to have airport shuttle service but turned out not to be the case.

Had a nice stay with Ashlee Heights

I love this hotel for its washing machine facilities, saved our trouble to send it to the laundry to somewhere else. Staffs there are very nice too. I had a fall in Phuket and asked if I can bring the breakfast porridge up to my room and they helped me scoop my porridge to bring up to my room. Never encountered a rude staff there at all. Room is also clean and exceptionally cozy. We are surprised that they have an umbrella in the room as well in case of rainy days. (We never encounter any within our trip to other places) The place is walkable to the nightlife street there. I am very happy with my stay. Only down side is the pool. It looks milky and dont appeal to us to swim in it :( please do something to it, i would love to go back there if we visit Patong again:)

Nice quiet hotel

This hotel is located near shopping market and nightlife area. Yet it's quiet in the room. It's great to stay here. The staff are all helpful and friendly. It's totally worth it for the price you paid.

Avoid at all costs!!! Misleading pics shown.

This hotel is very misleading with the pictures they have uploaded. In actual reality, the hotel is very rundown. There are stains on the lobby chairs, walls, you name it.

They first thing I noticed when I entered our room was how dirty everything was. Thankfully the sheets were clean but omg my bed was not even flat, it has broken springs so I could not sleep on it and got a back pain when I tried. I had to sleep on the sofa because of it!

Staff were always slow in responding to requests. We had no wifi on our floor (5th floor). The only good thing about this hotel was its location.

Save yourself from huge disappointment and please look elsewhere. They seriously need to renovate this hotel!

Rough hotel, but quiet location

Wouldn't stay again. Hotel isn't looked after very well. Bathroom door wouldn't close properly. Shower never ran hot and was inconsistent water flow. The rooms come with a washer dryer, but the dyer never worked. Lots of othe minor faults with the room that let the overall stay down.
On the plus side, location is good if you want to stay in the quieter end of Patong

The only good thing is location

This hotel is only good because of it's location. If it wasn't for that then I would have never come here.
The breakfast was OK.
The room was good after they gave us the right room we booked.
Yellowish water poured right on my as I was taking a shower the first night. Which was disgusting but they fixed it. They said it was because they had many people using the water so it finished and I guess it was cleaning it self on my face: ( horrible experience. But they said it doesn't happen a lot. I only had this problem once.
If I go back to phuket I might choose this hotel or one near by because of it's location. It is near everything. Plus they,have free shuttle to the beach

not a 3 star hotel, be aware, not a great hotel

Warning to others thinking about staying here. The room was dirty, no clean towels. Bathroom was a mess.And top of that, the staff are reluctant to assist or provide service. for example, I called recipient 3 times to bring up my luggage, no one did, so as a father I had to go down and get myself for my baby. Thats my experience. Also this hotel keeps changing its name as well be aware.

Quiet hotel that is a 10 min walk from the beach

Arrived at the hotel and it looked quiet and small but decent. Got to the room and did not expect to have such an awesome room. Family suite was huge, very clean and pleasant looking. Room was cleaned properly everyday by the staff. Counter staff were also helpful and courteous, able to converse well in English. Absolutely nothing to complain about.

Nice hotel with worst staff

Pros: Hotel is close to beach and bangla street in patong. Nice breakfast.
U cant get anything better for this much amount.
Cons: staff is not supportive, not helpful, anything u ask them the answer is negative or i dnt knw.
THE HOTEL STAFF IS CHEAT THEY CHARGED ME FOR PEANUTS WITHOUT ME USING IT. Kindly check hotel aminities before check in.

Rather quiet side of town which suits us yet still within 20-25 mins away to the Patong beach, Jungceylon shopping mall and Blanga St. Hotel room is clean, tidy and rather spacious. A few economical eating places around.

Perfect stay

The hotel was above our expectation. We thought we would be getting those rooms which is rundown just like what some of the travellers rated. We were served very well by them. I dont see any negative attitudes from them just as told by the travellers who reviewed the hotel. We had a perfect stay. Halal foods nearby, easy shortcuts here and there. 10mins walk to the beach and Jungceylon. The security guard directed us to the places we wanted to go. Overall, nice hotel, we were satisfied with the suite we stayed in. Wouldnt mind staying there again if we were to come to Phuket again. Thanks Ashlee Heights!

Good room, Good location, Very nice stay

We stayed for 3 days. The room is really nice and big with many amenities like Washing Machine, Microwave, Fridge and a big bathroom.
It was nice to provide bathing robes as well.
The hotel management should provide some tissue papers in the room. It was missed and had to buy a tissue box.
Good location, about 10 mins from Patong beach and the market. There is a nice massage place in front of the hotel but the appointment should be taken a day advance.
