The hotel is completely run down, from the time of check in till now all has been a hassle. the beds and pillows are so uncomfortable that we have back pain and neck pains, food is terrible, we have been having tummy upset since we had food at hotel, during the buffet we saw a bug on the cake and we showed to them, and they just took it in and removed the bug and put the cake back where it was!! they need serious improvement in the hotel. there are chips on the flooring not small ones but massive. not even sure how they charging so much for a run down hotel.

There was some confusion over the breakfast inclusion. I had paid extra but when we were there for check in staff said it is not included. So we had show them email. It was resolved after but should not have happened at the first place.

The breakfast time was said to be 6:30 onwards but it didn’t start till 7 and had to rush to another town so the details should have been accurate, the check in was also an issue had already said that 2 adults were check in and the hotel staff had issues with not the main person checking in first.

Everything about this hotel acceded our expectation except the room entry card annoyingly & repeatedly malfunctioned. Had to go down to the lobby numerous times to change.
Staff was excellent. We must make special mention of manager Christopher was kind, attentive & very helpful. He made us feel at home.

Highly recommend this hotel to Ahmedabad visitors

Stayed here for 6 days and I really loved it. Apart from courteous staffs and excellent service. I really fell in love with their food. With plenty of choices for breakfast we were almost daily too full to have lunch. Loved their Biryani and gravy chicken items on ala carte menu.

We arrived late at this hotel. And the behaviour of all staff members were good. The room was very clean with a lot of amenities. We arrived during a food festival and we got a chance to taste the Rajasthani buffet menu. Most items in the buffet menu tasted great. The next day we had to do an early checkout and we're provided with a packed breakfast. Very happy to have stayed with this hotel. At least I know where to stay in Ahmedabad the next time I visit Ahmadabad.

Amazing staff, especially Christopher and his team at the front desk. Rooms are clean and well furnished. Located in a nice location although a bit noisy sometimes. The breakfast buffet is really good with many choices. The same for the in room dining. Definitely would come back. Recommended.

Hotel is approximately 12 Km away from from the international airport which is against the hotel but all of following are excellent:
Hotel is clean and tidy.
Hotel staff and manager are courteous and friendly.
Hotel room are kept cool before checking in.
All the accessories provided in hotel is as good as five star hotel.

The internet was not working all the time. Very slow speed and sudden drop out. Very poor in terms of internet despite Hotel's claim of superfast internet . Room cleaning and bathroom cleaning needs to be improved.
I had booked 2 club rooms. one for myself and wife and other one for my 2 boys as ebooker and hotel failed to outline that there is no twin bed in club room. As we checked in we were told this but children wanted twin beds so shifted to smaller and standard room. We were told by person who made change that we will be charged as standard room only as club room has higher price. we were booked for 10 nights. On checkout they charged us both rooms as club room despite it was not used even for a single minute. We were forced to pay 20% extra money despite staff acknowledging that we were duped but they blamed ebookers and asked us to get difference and refund from them!!. The manager who was contacted seems to be arrogant. I blamed ebooker as well. It seems of a scam to charge exorbitant money from foreign clients as I also find out from friends who were local that charges comparatively were low for them.

The hotel is centrally located and staff & service is good. The standard rooms are very small and difficult for third occupant though the booking website says so. Also the furniture, especially doors & mirror frames need polishing / painting. Otherwise it is a decent hotel with good food.

The hotel is quite central in terms of location and its easy to commute from here. The rooms too are nice and spacious along with good interiors. Overall its very clean and the lobby and dining is great too. Food quantity is good. Most importantly the staff is excellent and very polite. Staying here was value for money.

I stayed at the Fortune Park for 9 nights commencing 19th February. There were some teething problems with the room which were rectified immediately. The reception & restaurant staff were very friendly indeed. There was a good choice at breakfast. Hope to stay again on my next visit.

WiFi can be connected only 1 device with 1 ID. We booked a room for two, but only 1 ID was provided. Although we requested another ID, but response was very poor.
Breakfast doesn't have variety.

Not worth staying rooms are slightly old, there is always strong pesticide smell in the corridors. Staff not courteous. Not worth the money you spend. Breakfast is average. Only one small restaurant.

I used the Hotel Taxi and was overcharged. I used Hotel Taxi for going to Gandhi Nagar took the package of 80 km 8 hours from the Hotel I went to Mahatma Mandir (convention centre) and was back in 5 hours. On checkout they charged me 100 km. when I protested the guys at front desk ganged and were arguing that from Hotel to Mahatma. mandir is 45 km - 50 km one way. I showed the google map which said 28 km one way. Then the changed the track that i must have roamed around.

Ahmedabad is a big place but it was easy to get around by getting auto rickshaws from outside the hotel. The restaurant was very nice with a good range of things for the buffet breakfast and a la carte dining or a buffet some evenings. The Park Plaza isn't far from the nearest Liquor Store although staff weren't particularly keen to help us get our permit to enable us to buy alcohol. The room was comfortable and quiet and supposedly non smoking. It could do with a bit of redecoration as could do the bathroom

Overall stay experience was very good. The dropoff and pickup area is very narrow and only one lane. So if the vehicle in front of you does not move you are pretty much stuck.
Pretty cold day in December. Good hot water flow, which is quite difficult to do in India. Except for the five star hotels most hotels in India have a problem supplying immediate and consistent supply of hot water. Wifi was very good and free. Free breakfast was good and had lots of choices, Indian and continental.
Neighborhood was not that great. No nearby restaurants.Right next to a flyover, useful as a landmark for a taxi driver but otherwise an eyesore from your room window and also when you enter or leave the hotel.

Hotel was clean. Room service was good and quick.

Feedback on Park Plaza November 2014

Arriving into Ahmedabad airport during the early hours, I'd organised pre-hand for the hotel card to pick us up from the airport. After several calls and after 30 minutes of waiting, the car did not turn up and this was disappointing. We ended up hiring a couple of taxis ourselve and getting to the hotel.
Upon arrival, I asked if we could check in early, however, hotel wanted to charge us a full nights stay, for what was effectively only a 3 hours. (The hotel's early check-in policy started from 0800 hours and we'd arrived @ approx. 0430)

Nevertheless, with the goof up of the car pick from the airport, the hotel staff (Waton) did everything to remedy the situation and he was able to allow us to check in earlier (without charge).

The hotel is great: Clean, rooms are excellent and the staff are friendly and will bend-over-backwards to make your stay a great experience. The breakfast selection is excellent and we also stayed for dinner, where the buffet also has a good selection.

Tops marks to the staff and a great hotel to stay at. Definitely recommended!

Awesome Ahmedabad!

Great location, good service, definitely recommended. The hotel is located minutes away from the main shopping street (C.G. Road) but is still in one of the quiet corners. You can try the multi cuisine menu of the hotel or if you want to have a taste of the street food, then you could just walk across the road. All an all a good place to have a nice weekend.

Superb!!

Stayed here for three nights and loved everything about the hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and very accommodating. We had a booking for three people and we were promptly provided a bigger room. Rooms have a contemporary look, equipped with a big safe and other amenities. The entire hotel is extremely clean.

We had breakfast everyday at the hotel and it was delicious.

Overall, extremely pleased with our stay.
