Upon arrival, we were offered a free upgrade due to our loyal custom with Expedia. The upgrade was for a sister hotel just 2 blocks away. The host David was exceptional and went above and beyond by providing us a mark with recommendations for main attractions. Even though we didnt sleep here we can confirm that judging by the beauty of the reception area and cleanliness of toilets, we have no doubt that the rooms would have been equally exquisite

Couldn’t figure out how to turn off light in shower till day 2 so room was bright while sleeping. The location was good and easy walking to sights. Would stay again.

Not a four star hotel. Location is convenient for the Pitti exhibit and the train station and front desk staff kind and helpful. Rooms are very small (nice balcony view) and only accessible from a labyrinth. Your ability to adjust the air conditioner is limited and the bed only had a thin cover in winter. Breakfast is available until 10:30am but food is mostly gone by 9. The service at breakfast could really improve and there is no help whatsoever to bring the luggages in and out. Bottom line: not worth the price.

My hotel room was impeccably clean, and very quiet. The decor was stylish, the bed was comfortable, although the Italians have the strange habit of a top sheet and a bottom sheet between the duvet (no actual duvet cover/bedspread that you can close on one side).

Breakfast had a good, if not particularly wide selection. They did make cappuccinos that were fabulous.
My one critique for the hotel is that the hot water was a little spotty and the hot breakfast options weren’t very warm. This is minor, and both issues were quickly resolved.

Pros: Not too far from the train station or trolley, good restaurants around, place seemed clean, and the staff was nice.

Our stay in the Market Urban Hotel was absolutely amazing. It's a 5-10 minute walk from the train station and is a perfect starting point for going around the city. The surrounds get quite busy though so be prepared to dodge your way through the foot traffic.
It's a small hotel so we were quite surprised by the good size of our room. The breakfast spread was adequate but what it lacked in choices was made up for by the amazing service! Special mention to the kitchen and dining staff: Jessica, Nika, Jem and Carla...there were no pan-de-sals but they made us feel at home!

This hotel is perfectly located to all the attractions. However it was surprisingly quiet being in the middle of the business. Rooms are on the small side but extremely nice. Only complaint I have is the pillows. One thin pillow and one thick and not very comfortable.

I stayed here for 4 nights. Firstly the staff was wonderful. The breakfast was really good. There were hot and cold items available. I found the bathroom to be a little inconvenient in size. The space around the bed was quite tight as well and personally I found the bed to be too firm for my liking. The bedding was of good quality. This is me knitpicking. The only real issue I had was the bathroom lightig and mirror. I found it difficult putting makeup on in the mirror and the lighting was not bright enough in the darkly decorated bathroom. You could put your makeup on in the rooms mirror . It was a good thing I brought a small lighed magnified mirror with me but it was still awkward. If this isnt a concern for you then this might be a great hotel for you . Would I stay here again? Probably not.

I much preferred their rooms ( but hated their breakfast) . I would stay at the Mercure over the Market Urban but if you love a good breakfast start to the day this is the hotel lor you .

I had a very good experience during my stay in this hotel. Very clean, staff are very nice and friendly and polite.Rooms are very clean, great showers in the rooms, the breakfast they serve is awesome, they give tiny jam jars to you instead of jam in plastic containers, cut fruits, pancakes, eggs in different varieties, etc. even snacks you can grab to go on your busy walking day ahead! They place a bag of a kind note and tuscany special biscotti at your door on the night before your check out, which was a very nice gesture by them.

The only 2 things I wasn’t really impressed are the intermittent temperature of hot water and acoustic (you can hear next door tv and the slamming door is extremely loud).
