Charmant mais à moderniser !

L'hôtel est très bien, les chambres un peu dans leur jus.
Les prises électriques sont un peu vieilles et l'on n'est pas trop rassuré par l'installation électrique dans son ensemble mais ça pourrait être pire.
Une seule vieille fenêtre, aération quasi nulle. La chambre sent donc le renfermé très vite.
Literie ok.
Télé ancienne et 4 chaînes seulement.

Just across from the rail station where we arrived from Oslo and the starting point of our Norway in a nutshell tour, so perfect location for us. Also enough restaurant options across the road and along the main bit of the town including gift shops.

Staff are welcoming and pleasant. Room was lovely and spacious with the most gorgeous view of the lake and enjoyed sitting on the balcony.
The bathroom was looking a little tired and could do with modernising i.e grouting looking a bit grey/black in places, but everywhere was clean.

Nice buffet breakfast with good selection of options.

The room was a good size and the breakfast was good. The room decor was getting tired. I got two automatic emails through Expedia offering packed lunch but I got no response about contents and cost when I twice messaged the hotel asking fkr more information. Reception desk was deserted when we arrived for checking and other guests had spent 10 minutes searching the hotel trying to find someone.

Very nice location.
The room is a bit dated but mainly the bathroom doesn't have a separate shower but only with a curtain so it floods to toilet. There's only one socket and not near any table for charging. No kettle either.
The breakfast has a lot of options but was like warm or cold.

Location is amazing though, the lake is beautiful. If they updated it from the 1990s time warp it would be a great place.

I liked my stay here.
The hotel is a bit dated but, it serves it purpose.
The biggest downside was the breakfast. It's a big selection but, it looked like it got re-served day after day. I took a fried egg on day three or four and it was like it was made of plastic. The pot with bacon just got more small bits of crunchy bacon at the bottom for every day that only got darker and darker.

Restaurant was good and modern but a lack of staff left us stood at the bar for ten minutes, went else where instead. It all seemed very empty.
The rooms were cosy but really needed updating, there was also no coffee making facilities in the room. It was cleaned daily but the cleaner let herself in five minutes after breakfast finished when we were getting dressed - not very professional and wasn’t the best cleaning, more of a tidy up.

For such a big hotel it was a surprise that there are no laundry facilities, especially in such an outdoor activity oriented area.

Everything here was so nice! The staff was friendly and let us store our luggage before we checked in. You can walk right down to the path along the lake from downstairs, and right into town from the front entrance. Plus the train station is right down the street! And the free breakfast is amazing!

With a top of the line room we had great views of the lake and mountains. The room was large but no amenities. No in room coffee or tea. No safe. No shampoo/ conditioner. No wash clothes. Also no laundry service but the staff did take our laundry to another town and washed and dried it which was over and beyond what they had knowledge of.

First room I had originally booked with lakeside view had bugs. They showed me 2 other rooms on the same floor. 1 was very dirty and also had bugs. other room was better, but bathroom had a strong chemical smell that staff told me was cleaning products but it was not. Cooked breakfast items like eggs were cold. Stay away from this \"hotel\" if you can.

Great front desk staff. The hotel is dated and not maintained. We were on the fourth floor. Great view but the room was brutally hot, the window opened up about 10cm, and the fan was a tiny desk fan. Us and others propped open the room door with a chair to try to get a cross breeze but it barely helped. The elevator also broke and was out more than 24 hours and not fixed when we left. Luckily we can handle stairs and packed light.

The restaurant staff was ok, but one night we wanted to grab a drink and just a desert. They had a tour group eating and apparently could not deal with the three of us ordering just this so we were a bit frustrated. The breakfast buffet is good.

The location is ideal and beautiful. This could be a 5 star property with an investment and upgrades but it’s 2 to 2.5 stars at best.

We had chosen a lake view room which had wall to wall windows and certainly had a great view.
The wardrobe had a rail and shelves but no door. A safe would have been useful.
When we arrived the hotel had two bookings in my name. We were given no details about breakfast time or location and almost missed breakfast on Monday which finished earlier than the weekend. There was information in the room.
It was extremely hot and we were grateful to have a fan in the room. During the night it was very noisy with tourists crossing the car park.
We ate in Cafe Stationen which had been extremely busy that day and had no Coke original and had reduced the choices on the menu.

Interesting throwback to an earlier era in decor, but excellent lakefront location near train station. Spacious, comfortable room and excellent included breakfast.
The hotel feels like a ski resort from the 70s with dark wood and lots of underutilised spaces. The focus now seems to be on its wine credentials, but we didn't sample that aspect.

Park Hotel has a lot of rooms, a great location on the lake with lovely views, and free parking.
It’s almost like a step back into the sixties/seventies…the carpet, walls, light fixtures, and furniture are all very dated and over used. Only the disco ball was missing. Breakfast was okay to good, although crowded as it seems like a lot of bus tours roll through here. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The tub was old and somewhat permanently stained. There was no place to put your opened suitcase, although the room did have a closet space with shelves and two extra pillows. It was generally quiet at the hotel except for Friday night karaoke at the bar/restaurant next door…able to nearly exclude the bad music by closing the windows but then it got a bit stuffy and warm in the room. Okay hotel but over priced.

- Das Gebäude und die Zimmer könnten eine Renovierung vertragen. Es fehlten die Handtücher auf dem Zimmer; ein Haartrockner war ebenso nicht vorhanden, obwohl er in der Beschreibung angeführt war. Der Lüfter im Bad wirbelte Staubflocken auf das Waschbecken. - Am Abend fand draußen unterhalb der Zimmer eine Veranstaltung des Hotels statt; auch nach 22 h war es noch ziemlich laut. - Das Frühstück war ok, aber im Vergleich mit anderen Hotels in Norwegen unter dem Durchschnitt.

Insgesamt ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hier nicht angemessen.

Når du ser hvor lettvint innsjekkingen er på Voss Park, lurer du veldig på hva alle de andre holder på med! Hotellet er så klart ikke i klassen til Scandic mtp komfort og fasiliteter, men sjarmerende er det og litt reise tilbake i tid har ingen vondt av.

Sentralt på Vossevangen

Vi valgte hotellet p.g.a. sentral beliggenhet på Vossevangen, nær alt og nær strand. Det svarte til forventningene, men det ble for mye støy fra biltrafikk, motorsykler og rullekofferter gjennom store deler av natten. Rommet trenger dessuten litt allminnelig vedlihold, og badet var feikonstruert. Det ble vått utover hele gulvet ved dusjing. Men ellers er hotellet OK.
