Room was clean and big enough for a few days stay. The pool area was nice and the restaurant was lovely, they do different themed nights for food which are a very good price! We got 3 tacos and a beer for $14 and the standard menu was great and a good price. Location was brilliant was about a 8 minute walk to the sea link ferry terminal to magnetic island. Overall we had a great stay.

I am rating this hotel terrible as we didn’t get to stay there due to Cycline Koji as we were stuck in Rockhampton due to Bruce Highway closed. We phoned to let them know 1st thing in the morning as soon as we knew the roads were closed due to the Cyclone but they would not refund our accommodation which I thought was extremely disappointing that they had no lack of empathy that we could not physically get to the hotel being 8 hrs drive away in a cyclone. Such a bad and uncaring attitude for a hotel in such extreme circumstances.

Stay was good for the purpose; location is great and the overall setup offers a lot, especially the bar and restaurant next to the pool are fantastic. Room was ok, nothing special, but unfortunately, the floor was not very clean and during the night it was quite loud, especially as there is a large fan on the roof that makes quite some noise. Staff is very friendly. Parking works quite well (there is even an undercover parking area right underneath the pool level; entrance at the back of the block).

Very noisy. The rooms are directly outside the pool / bar area and music can be heard from the rooms. Despite the bar bar and restaurant closing at 10pm people still sit in the pool area and drink. If you are after a quiet night this isn’t the place for you.

The staff are nice and the location is central but it is very noisy.

Our one night stay here was very comfortable and quiet. Whilst our room was very basic and a little aged it was clean, the sheets crisp and the bed large and comfy. The hotel has amazing character and a really good vibe especially the rooftop area. The staff were so friendly, helpful and efficient. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast - delicious omelette and coffee, and a great woodfire pizza dinner. Thank you, we look forward to returning.

Our room (as most were) was right next to a busy bar restaurant that was noisy until after midnight. Also, I unfortunately believe that someone spiked my water as I lay by the pool and became very disoriented and sick. The pool area can be accessed by anyone in the general public so I would not recommend this property to any single or solo female traveller for safety concerns.

Lots of construction on street, not the hotel’s fault but started at 6:55 am and could be heard on 3rd floor very well. Also noisy just because it’s downtown and pool/bar/restaurant are very close on same level. Also told front desk that floor in room is very dirty. Came out of shower with clean feet, walk to bed and they were black.

The room was nice but a little smaller than I had imagined. The hotel itself is lovely however all the rooms are located around a central pool and bar/restaurant area so may get loud on busy nights. Luckily for us it was a quiet night. The restaurant on site is amazing with great food and drinks options. The only slight inconvenience was the car parking was difficult to find, I would recommend asking for directions prior to arrival.

Room was clean but very small. Didn’t think it was good value for money. All the rooms are located around the pool and bar area so can be quite noisy. There is a good restaurant, parking and lifts. Reception staff was friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t stay on a Friday or Saturday night as next door to night clubs. Unless yr going clubbing of course

We were locked out of our room due to a failing battery.
Manager did what he could but sadly we will never stay here again. It was supposed to be a romantic weekend away and instead was a weekend from hell. Thank you to the manager who checked us out you were truly the only highlight this place had to offer.

This was a really lovely little resort.. the pool area and roof top bar was really gorgeous. It was easy to get around town and find delicious places to eat. but unfortunately the room was so so so small.. uncomfortabley tiny and neither my husband or I are big people.. There was no where to place our suitcase, the cupboard had hanging space no drawers or shelves so we had to live out of the suitcase but had to zip it and stand it after taking our clothes out as there was no room. The shower was huge but the vanity was so tiny there wasn't room to barely hold the toothbrush. The mad cow nightclub is right next door and was still pumping at 2 in the morning.. the noise was something we weren't aware of. I knew it was near a nightclub but figured they would have sound-proofed better than that. The rooms let in so much light. The curtain is not block out and the door frame allowed a lot of light into the room. Its such a shame as this was a really nice and super convenient spot. We will stay again but will be asking for a bigger room next time and will bring ear plugs.

From the minute we checked in to the minute we checked out, our experience was nothing short of exceptional. The staff in the lobby were very welcoming and knowledgeable.
Our room was very clean, it was spacious, and despite there being quite a few kids staying at the resort, we had the best sleep in almost 2 weeks of travelling. We hardly heard anything! The pool area was great and we really enjoyed sipping a cocktail and relaxing. There were ample seats to choose from. We checked out quite early and Ryan in reception was amazing. The only thing that I wished was different was that we booked for longer! We will definitely be staying again on our next visit to Townsville!

Very loud, we were given a room away from the pool area as that would be the quietest. Not so much. It was a Saturday night, we were next to the alleyway andbwere woken up from fights on the street and nearby pubs emptying all their bottles into skip bins at 4am.

There were also lots of bugs in our room when we returned home that evening. Possibly from opening the door which is lit up - watch for this, time your entry!

I ordered my steak medium to well done and it was like rare and the mushroom gravy was disgusting, overall if I had a different room, I would stay again but would dine elsewhere

It was really cute. I stayed in room 29 which was adjacent to the pool, restaurant and roof top bar. The room was beautiful and access to the whole property was easy via the lift. The restaurant food was great and I indulged with room service and there were no ridiculous service fees. The only issue I had was there was no pay TV access. I went to Townsville to stay in lovely accommodation for R&R not to sight see and to watch movies in my room for some of the time. I was told the smart TVs weren't very smart and couldn't connect to the property wifi. Anyway I read my book by the beautiful pool and was happy. At night I then streamed shows on my phone lol. I'll definitely return. Thanks team. I really enjoyed my stay of 3 nights.

The aircon is quite loud, and the fridge is right next to my bed. It’s making it hard for me to sleep. No lift to upper level rooms, so we’ll have to carry our heavy luggage up the stairs. It’s a bit like staying in a hostel.
