The room was dirty, hair on the bathroom floor and when we pulled back our bed, it was full of black bugs and hair ! We immediately packed up and went to the front for a refund and left to go to another motel. Also, there seemed to be unusual clientele coming and going ?? Because we booked with Expedia we had to get a refund with them and our friend with the adjoining room paid cash and he was refunded his $ right away…. We however, kept having to call and eventually had to dispute the charge with our Credit card to get our refund…. Also. I believe the reviews we read about the motel were not true!

Owner / female front desk was rude and not helpful. Bathroom was not cleaned and we were given two flat pillows. They promote having a pool and fitness area. Pool was not functioning and fitness room has been closed since covid. We stayed two weeks prior and were told they working on both but none wer resolved.

This hotel is older, but has been kept up pretty well. Had an external electrical outlets box with usb ports that didn't work and outlets a bit iffy.
My wife likes her coffee but there were no decaf coffee or fixings and the coffee pot was not clean as it had coffee grounds in it. Room price was good until all the fees were added in.

I will not stay here again

This hotel needs a complete makeover. There is no sealing around the door. I had a non-smoking room but the comforter had cigarette holes and was dirty. The room had roaches. I went to the near by dollar store and purchased roach spray. I have never had to do that while staying at a hotel. The only reason I stayed was because I was there for a funeral and all the other hotels were completely booked. I will NOT be staying here again.

This was a quick overnight stay while on the road at the end of a 10 day vacation. The room met our needs well. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and well kept it was considering the affordability. Would definitely stay at an Econolodge again.

Not bad for an overnight

The bathroom needed a bit more care. Some of the grout was starting to show a bit of mold and the soap tray in the tub area was not cleaned well and had lots of dried soap on it. The room was clean, spacious and nice, bed was fine, nice size frig and microwave, AND it had a nice 4 cup drip coffee pot YEAH!!!! Rooms are Only accessible from outside which some people do not like.

Great location off of the highway. The room seemed clean, however, the bathroom was not. Towels were old and only hand towels in the room when we got there. The replacements from the front desk were clean and fluffy. Toilet and shower were dirty.
They did have coffee at all hours, so that was good.

This is the worst and dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed at. I only stopped for 1 night passing by from KY to FL and I checked in around 2am just to sleep. The room slept humid and like mildew. The sheets were full of yellow and brown stains. The comforter looked like it had muddy foot prints on it. Zero chance this was properly sanitized to abide by covid 19 sanitation.

The area was off the road for a quiet night. The staff was really friendly and service was fast to get in and get out. Lots of places to eat nearby. Very disappointed in AARP & Expedia for listing this property. There is no Choice about this place. Conditions were terrible ! We used a face towel to wipe down every corner of room with towel ending up pure black!! They use the same key card over and over to the point where the key will not work, what;'s with this!!! AARP unlisted this property ASAP, you\"re doing your members a big disservice!!!

Not a well managed/clean property. Trash around the perimeter of the property. Outdoor garbage bin overflowing. First room offered was unclean. Dried up food on the desk area, TV cabinet and carpet. The linens are threadbare and pillow cases were stained. Shower head came apart. Vent cover in bathroom appeared to never have been cleaned.
Courteous but less-than-hospitable (for South Georgia) front desk clerk...met my last request with a roll of the eyes.

I only opened the door to the room once. The room was what I expected for the price, what I saw anyway. I didn’t even enter completely. The reason was the loitering going on all through the parking lot and the top level, where we were. We were tired and checking in at 3 am to break a trip up, and people were still everywhere. Even saw a group of people walking in from the wooded area next to the hotel, and toward the hotel, as we were leaving. We just didn’t feel comfortable staying there, and figured we wouldn’t get much sleep, so we found another down the interstate. The staff was polite and didn’t argue about any of this. We were approved for refund and should be cleared soon.

Ist time there was pretty nice so I tried them again..major disappointment..I put in the back row of the hotel..outside of building dirty, inside of room dirty, smelled like smoke and dog...after dark there was a block party..loud music, cars and people..I woke up to underwear by car, trash all over the parking lot. I liked my room. Hardwood floors, walk in closet, 7 foot tall mirror, iron and ironing board..Clean and comfortable bed..tv, microwave, lounging chair and desk. For under 80 dollars this was the best one out of the other 3 that I stayed at this summer..

The staff were friendly and helpful. For future guests, I would want them to know there was a train that ran every 30 min - hour throughout the night. It was horrible the first night! But I learned that by running the fan of the AC unit, I was no longer bothered by the train the second night.

Stairs are so rusted, saftey hazard. Rubber strip on the bottom of my door was missing a section so there was an opening to the outside. Alot of bugs, i assume they got through under the door.

This is 2 story motor hotel with outside room entrances but feels safe. Room had frig and nice towels. But 9 AM breakfast end on a Sunday was too early for me so I cannot comment on hot aspect. But this was pricey @ $86 relative to my many other recent stays at similar properties.

The hotel is in need of some maintenance/updates but we didn't really care about that. The price makes up for it. Breakfast was normal for that quality.
The part that I was upset about was I was told that the pool was closed when we checked in. The next day as we were getting ready to leave, I found out that was not really the case. They apparently had trouble with some locals using the pool and asked them to leave. Having a pool was part of the reason we booked there so we were pretty bummed.

The staff was nice. The bathroom had mildew but was otherwise clean. The furniture ie. dresser table had water damage. And there was an odor in the room.
The breakfast was disappointing what passed for gravy was more like broth with bits of sausage, I’m not sure of the taste couldn’t bring myself to try.

First room smelled like cigarettes but was supposed to be a nonsmoking room. Second room smelled also probably due to the water soaked carpet (a/c). Gross looking wad (I think someone picked their nose and wiped I on the wall) was on bathroom wall. Vanity light wouldn’t work, another lamp was dead. Even the door to the room was dirty.

I called ahead to have my room ready since I had driven over 500 miles and it was 2:30 AM. I was already exhausted, I received my room key, the room was upstairs, I unloaded my things to find out there were no lights in the room working except for the bathroom. I called the front desk to let them know, packed my things to be moved to another room, same thing but this time the air conditioner did not work, there were light but no air. And this was a handicap room . I called the second time and when I received my next room the lady asked me did I just want to leave, not I’m so sorry for this, not what could they do to make my stay a better one, not anything positive to say to someone who was tired, moved three times plus unloading and loading her things. I would highly recommend that you find another hotel.
