Staff (owner) was rather gruff when checking in. She wanted to charge $10 per guest extra for the 4 of us although the paid reservation was for 4 people (2 full beds non-smoking) She also tried very hard to give us a 1 king bed room that was a smoking room. She reluctantly opened up a 2 full bed room (still a smoking room) and we accepted it. She lightened up as the stay went on for the 4 days. Rooms were as dated as the pictues look, waffles only for breakfast, but that too was okay. Now I see that she did not refund my $20 deposit to the credit card that she insisted upon before I could check the room out. I had to stay here in a pinch for an ice storm, and I would do it again- but not by choice.

Disgusting motel it’s not a hotel and the place us a dump, they didn’t want to give us at least half of our money back…the people that go to this place seems to smoke too much and place smells like an ashtray, it’s despicable and the lady at front desk has no manners and her attitude is disgustingly rude for someone who isn’t from this country!

The room had lots of trash on the floor and the A/C was so loud it was hard to sleep. The hair dryer was literally hanging off the wall by 1 screw and the tub was very soft of on the bottem felt like you could gall through. It appeared to be clean other then the floor and microwave and frigldge were in working order. For a budget hotel i say its just ok. I mean you get what you pay for.

I arrived at the property and checked in. The manager had to come let us in the room because the keys didn’t work. Upon admission to the room it reeked of mold and cigarettes. I asked if he had a different room and he said only if you pay extra. I told him that I could not stay there with my allergies. His response was oh well. My husband and I lost our money and found a different place to stay. I have never been treated so rudely in my life.

The worst experience we’ve ever had with Expedia! The hotel canceled our reservation at 7 PM by email without any reason, and they charged my credit card twice. We didn’t have access to that email at the time, so when we arrived at 10 PM, they told us we had no reservation and that the hotel was fully booked. Their only response was, “You need to contact Expedia.”

Meanwhile, my reservation still appears as active on Expedia, and now it even shows as if we stayed at the hotel, which is impossible since they never gave us a room! This situation is unacceptable. I demand a full refund, and a hotel with this level of irresponsibility should not be listed on Expedia.

The property management is good. But there are people who looked suspicious in that motel. I would not complain about the management. The lady was very welcoming and sweet while receiving us. My female friends felt a little nervous when they saw some black dudes smoking in the parking and constantly staring at the girls.

I checked in, carried my bag to the second floor - no elevator.
The room had a moldy odor. The sheets and comforters were stained, and there was long black hair in the bathroom (I have short blonde hair).
I was in the room no more than 5-10 minutes before I left.

The clerk who checked me in was surly and unwelcoming and wouldn't provide a receipt for my stay. In addition, when I made the reservation online, the reservation said that the hotel provided a breakfast. When I checked in the clerk said no breakfast was provided.

It was a last minute booking. All we wanted was a clean bed and bath. It was that. This is an older building with some wear but we didn't care since we stayed just long enough to sleep. Since parking is right in front of the first floor rooms you can hear the comings and goings of other guests and their auto/truck engines till into the late hours. David was friendly, very efficient in checking us in quickly and was clear with instructions. Internet wifi was strong and easy to connect too.

Sheets and bed cover dirty. Had not been changed they just remade the bed. The pillow case had blood on it and the was blood, dirt and hair in the bed between the sheets were you sleep. Disgusting. I ask for clean sheets and was told i had to change them myself. Carpet filthy turned my socks black. Shower had a used bar of soap and hair. The bed sheets have cigarette burns in them. I want a full refund but that will never happen. Booked for 2 nights cancel and left after 1 because the room was so gross and the other guests were so loud i couldn't sleep. Its a run down dirty hotel damn sure not worth $100 a night maybe $25 a night. I only stayed the 1 night because i had already checked in and they said i had to pay for that night even if i checked back out after only 45 minutes

rooms are very outdated. Room wasn't clean. Shower head needs to be replaced. More water was coming out the back of it than the head itself. Chair had leather pieces coming off. People had a grill in one of the parking spots and were out all times of the night and morning.

I booked a room with a double bed but after carrying the luggage to the room found it to be a king (which would have been cheaper than I paid. I let it go, not worth going back to check-in and moving. Laid down to watch the news and I could only get one channel on the TV. The remote would not change the channels. At check-in they put a charge to \"hold\" on my card for possible incidentals...???? There was nothing I could see where they were even any incidentals possible. The bathroom was not dirty, it just looked it due to age.

I have stayed here many times before and never had an issue. However this time was different the WiFi continued to drop. They ask me for $20 in cash that I would get back once I checked out. I explained that I needed to check out early. He stated that it would not be an issue. This morning I waited about 20 minute and ran that stupid night 3 times and called. Before I leave my 20 dollars in cash because I had to go. So if they took my 20 bucks they my take every other guest that’s a nice little tax free cash side business.

I don't even know where to start room was supposed to be $78 the guy told me at the front that there would be a $30 hold on my card which was perfectly fine I completely understand was ended up charged $98 for the room and still have not gotten back the $30 hold so I paid over $128 for the room after they had trouble finding my reservation that I had made a month in advance then I got a room that was dirty like never had been cleaned from the past people get that all figured out and get into our room the floor was wet in front of the ac/heat (was dry by the night) says it has amenities there are none. No coffee no breakfast the coffee maker in the room was broken but i had to use the outlet by the bed to try it because the one outlet in the \"bathroom sink\" area was pulled out the wall. Was told at the gas station across the street people live in the woods and break into cars at night so had to bring everything out of my car up stairs to feel safe was not worth the money and no where has a number to contact for help

We were hesitant on the hotel due to mixed reviews. But we booked Anyhow. We pulled in everything was as pictured the lady at check in was very nice and helpful with directions. We waited a few min for our room she explained understaffed. Appreciate the chat while we waited. Our room was clean quiet and the hotel is perfect distance to Helen great price and the staff was awsome. Lottie was the best. We asked for extra Towels are was on top of it. Issue with microwave fixed it right away. It’s an older days inn but they are definitely fixing things. Lottie was great with directions. Cleanliness of our room and chatting with. The bed was on the firm side and I prefer soft but no complaints given. We were close to Walmart grocery store gas ect. Could not ask for anything better even the price. We wlll definitely stay again. See you in may. Thank you everyone again. Especially Lottie

Good for a quick stopover. The rooms were clean, beds were soft and staff was friendly. There was no breakfast, no facial tissues in the room, the hairdryer didn’t work and there was a loose outlet behind the fridge. Also, there was a huge gap in the doorway, but the door locked with a keycard, deadbolt and chain. The outside area was nice and clean, and the location was in an easy to access area. All in all, a clean, comfy place to stop for the night.

If i could have gotten a refund and stayed at a different hotel i would have. There was people all over the property just hanging out when i got there at 9pm. There was no parking near my room so as a single female I was noticed walking to my room. Got inside and there is no safety lock on the door. I used the chair to put in front of the door. The ac would not get cold because it was so filthy. Not wanting to go back outside I cleaned the ac and put the dirty towels and washcloths in a pile so house keeping could switch it out. The morning was better but when I returned the same dirty towels were hung up instead of clean ones. When I walked down to the office the nice young lady switched them out for me but while in the office an unhappy customer was asking me for a ride to get food because the staff threw away all her food. It was just a very nerve wracking experience.

Carpet was sticky. Shower grab bar falling off the wall. In room coffee was absolute SWILL. And the ask for a $20 CASH deposit on check in. IF YOU DO NOT ASK FOR IT BACK, you WILL noy get it! And when I asked for mine, the owner looked like he didn't know what I was talking about. MAKE them give you a receipt for that 20 bucks!

Awful stay - no bathroom door but did come complete with a sheet to cover the bathroom entrance! Heating thermostat didn't work - unit was either on or off. Weird activities going on at this hotel - left at 4:30 am and there was lady sleeping in her running car. Family(owners?) were having open discussions at 3 in the morning next door - sounded like they were in my room. No breakfast but yet close to $100 to stay - not many options in this town. Without a doubt, the worst overall experience I have ever had - DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!

The only thing that was decent at this property was the check in process. The front desk lady was nice. When we first got to our room, we walked in and I immediately told my husband I couldn’t stay here because of the strong- sealed in cigarette smoke smell. The bathtub had stains and there were holes in the sheets and a dead cockroach on the ceiling (it looked like it’s been dead for a while).

So we didn’t stay the weekend, not even the night. We left.
