Only thing I thought could have been better was the shower head (didnt work properly) and cleanliness of the bathroom. On a scale of 1/10 I'd give it a 7. Other than that everything was excellent.

My wife and I stayed at the Clonakilty Park Hotel for 3 nights in early June.
The room was very clean and bed was comfortable.
The staff were very friendly and accomodating.
Food in the restaurant and pub excellent
Overall great facilities on site. Good location.
Hard to believe it only has a 3 star rating!!

Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable. I thought yhe room could have been better designed, especially plug sockets which were inconveniently placed and had to scrabble around under the desk to plug in the kettle etc. Also nowhere to hang the towels to dry.

The room was very basic for the price. 2 lamp didn’t work & the Room could do with a face lift. Just shower gel shampoo combo & no conditioner or lotion in Bathroom. Parking was easy & the staff were very attentive. The pool & hot tub area were very busy with young families. So not a place for watery relaxation !

The room was big and spacious but the cleanliness was not the best. The cold tap in the bathroom was very noisy and unstable. The windows in the room were filthy and had a broken seal so there was condensation . The staff at the breakfast were very helpful and friendly as were the reception staff.

My husband and I brought out two children to the Clonakilty Park hotel for a 2 night stay from Friday to Sunday. Excellent hotel for children loads for them to do. They loved kids club and the leaders were excellent with them. I did think they could have done more renovations on the rooms. I know they are family room but they could be a bit more up to date slick of paint would go along way. I accidentally left my handbag in the lobby and one of the cleaners left it at reception. It was so lovely to see that there are still very honest people out there and I thank her for that. There was just one little disappointment and that was when I went to order a lunch for my children for kids club I waited at the desk at the conservatory restaurant as stated on the sign and there was a woman (black curly hair and glasses) completely ignored me left me standing there until I eventually asked her if it was ok if I went over to order the lunches to which she grunted yes. Other than that we had a lovely stay Thank you.

Globally, the Park hotel provides good features and service for kids and family entertainment, the indoor playground and pool makes the difference.

However, the room are not well-furnished, missing lights and accessories, old fashioned.
Also, the rooms are overpriced, not even including the breakfast, 12eur extra for adults, which is also overpriced as very poor in choice and quality.
A bit disappointed by the stay, even though the hotel staff was really friendly and helping.

Covid measures poorly implemented

Spent two nights at the Clonakilty Park hotel and while the hotel was fine (albeit the room decor was a bit tired/dated) their Covid measures were slightly contradictory. Restaurants had to be booked in advance but no social distancing in them once you got in there. We asked one of the waiting staff what the measures were as everyone seemed to be sitting practically on top of each other and their response was they did not know but they would ask! The response to our query was to move us to another table and when asked why everyone was so close the manager stated it was because they were expecting coach tour parties in. One would assume you had to book to support reduced capacity due to social distancing - not so! It was also not possible to order food to your room due to covid but the cleaning staff entered the room to make up the beds and change the towels. I would advise the hotel to look at other hotels to see how to implement restrictions in a more consistent manner.

Hotel has a lot of facilities for children which is fantastic. Good location for town and beach and local playground. Swimming pool nice. We did not eat at hotel but got pizza from food truck outside and it was fine/ not amazing. Staff were all very nice. Room was clean although small for 4 of us. Beds were comfortable and house keeping were great. Reception area warm and welcoming and spacious. Parking nice and close to hotel and free. Overall would recommend for families.

Myself and my daughter recently stayed in the Clonakilty Park Hotel on arrival the staff were friendly and helpful . The room was very comfortable and spotless . We had evening dinner in the restaurant I have not had a nicer meal in a long time food was fab my daughter who is so fussy with her food love it . Breakfast the next morning which is my daughters favorite when we go to a hotel was great with a verity of everything you would want . We had a great time . Will visit again

I didnt like the fact that the ajoining door in my room wasnt locked and know that the people in the room next to us were looking in our room as the locker was all pushed forward. Had to ask reception to lock both doors as this is unacceptable.

our son has autism and is a very specific eater. staff of the kitchen and restaurant went above and beyond to get the brand he wanted. we had a fantastic stay. loads to keep kids entertained. pool, games room,playground, kids club, disco. music n the bar at night. i forgot my sons swim hat from room 1 day and life guard was so nice giving me a loan of 1 to save me going back to room. the staff are exceptional all over the hotel. i noticed also, an autism sensory box which had ear plugs and new sunglasses in it. a lovely touch. the nagitives i would say was the games in games room comps need to be updated and made easier to access and work. we had to get some1 in each time to put a game on and son was bored by the time it was powered up and than person didnt know how to do it so bit of a rig ma roll waiting for someone else to come. we were in rooms 101 and 105. a little dated compared to rest of decore in hotel. our netflix wouldnt connect in 105 but it did in 101 and our kettle didnt work in 105 but was replaced as soon as we made recp aware of it. food is a little over priced and only so so, but service was excellent and friendly.
overall a very plesant and comfortable stay. would stay again and have no problem recommending hotel.

The price you pay for a room is very very expensive even without breakfast included. They have good facilities for kids but be prepared to have have your wallet emptied because most everything bar the swimming pool and playground you will be paying for a lot. The rooms are ok but not for families just a couple of high double beds shoved in a small room. Also there is no big light in the room only a lot of lamps for light. For the hefty price you pay to stay in the hotel I thought there would be a lot for it and the hotel is very overated in my eyes because of this. The location is good though but would still need a car to get to most spots if with kids or babies.

First the checkin is a bit late 3pm and checkout is at noon.

In my case I paid twice case an error with the card reader. I am waiting for a refund. Ok, this could happens ... .

The main reason because I would not recommend it is because although It is a hotel for Kids, It has some restrictions . For example Kids Jungle maximun one hour, you will get a pass per day, after that 4€.

For babies you have to book in advance before 1 pm, so your first day your baby wont able to stay at the creche.

Restaurant close a bit soon 2:30 pm, after that you have the bar.

Beautiful weather certainly helped but we had a wonderful time and got out to the model village railway 5 minutes away and Inchydoney beach. Our boys lived in the pool and loved the playground and kids disco. I just wish we’d stayed longer considering the length of the drive from Dublin.

We brought our 3 year old granddaughter for a couple of days holiday to this hotel. It was perfect for family holidays. From start to finish it was brilliant. What more could you ask for to entertain children from swimming, kids club, jungle gym, cinema, disco. From staff to food to entertainment to rooms all geared for children excellent. As grandparents we would highly recommend this hotel. We will be back with our granddaughter.

I felt very intimated by the amount of the travelling community staying in the hotel and their behavior was appauling I would use the hotel once a year for my sons birthday and after this experiecne I'm not to sure i would go back.we always looked forward to staying at this hotel in January every year as it's a great place for my son an so much for him to do here but I'm not sure I would stay here again

Our check in was easy and staff were very nice. I had selected this hotel because it advertise guest laundry and I needed to wash. They have a laundry service which was useless as we were leaving early the next morning. The restaurant service was terrible. Our server, Fiona, acted as if it was a terrible burden to do anything after she seated us. The food was good, the service, not so much.
